👍👍 So peaceful and centering. I've always wanted to come here and a friend convinced me to. The tour was about 90 minutes with a look at Bill and Lois' home with possessions they had in storage during their years of homelessness. The history comes alive as we tour their home. People often mention history,

We absolutely loved our tour from Lexi, who was knowledgeable and friendly. The grounds are beautiful and the house is preserved exactly as it was when Louis died. Highly recommend for any AA.

Stepping Stones was the home of Bill and Lois Wilson, founders of Alcoholics Anonymous and Al-Anon -- the 12-Step recovery program for families and friends of alcoholics. Now a private museum, Stepping Stones' gardens, and beautifully preserved house and writing studio, "Wits End," are well worth a visit. Virtual tours and online archival research are also available, as well as virtual picnics, plays, and presentations of this important history.

Definitely felt a connection walking in their home. Would need to spend hours there to actually be able to look at and read everything there is to see. I am so grateful to have had the opportunity to visit.

A great place to learn some history of Alcoholics Anonymous and Alanon. Uniquely curated. Minimally staffed, so it's best to let them know you're coming. So very much to read, so allow plenty of time!

The picnic was great hallowed ground for anyone who has Bill & Bob to thank for saving their life . The people who volunteer are a wealth of the history of the Wilson's and the 12 step programs.

Thank you all for the work you do to continue the story and lives of two people who simply followed their hearts. My goodness what an invaluable, immeasurable and at times unexplainable gift they gave our world.
