Everyone told me how great Dilly Duck was and they were right! I’m so glad I finally got to go and enjoy a delicious and filling breakfast. Besides having ample vegetarian options, everyone working there was so nice and spent the time to make us feel so welcome. I’m excited to go back again whenever I’m in Norwalk!

The Dilly Duck is a place that shows good service and good food is possible, and you can truly say coming here for a meal is a treat. The hostess is the sweetest lady who's always warm and want to hear about your dining experience. This is our second time here and we ordered the Sat. Special(Scottish egg on beef stew and potatoes) and pesto pasta baba. Both were cooked to perfection and taste amazing.

Great sandwiches! We had the churn it up toasted cheese with bacon and tomato, fries, and the roast pork sandwich. All were delicious. Highly recommended!

Phenomenal food and service! Today, I had the special of four pepper hash with pork belly, and my boyfriend had bacon Mac and cheese! Although it’s pricey for brunch, I 100% recommended! The food taste even better than it looks!

Don't let the humorous name deter you - this is a Norwalk gem!! First of all, the hostess/greeter was exceptional. She had the most delightful personality and was so welcoming - it was a refreshing surprise. If you love ducks - this is the place! And then there is the menu. They offer quiche, pasta, smoked salmon, rotisserie pork, and much more. We had breakfast sandwiches this time but they have an incredible range of delicious items and the Fizzy Palmer's with mint were out of this world - sounds so simple but blew me away! So refreshing. Highly recommend.

We had lunch while passing through and found the food to be delicious. The food is freshly prepared and not your average deli food. Their take on a quiche was refreshing and scrumptious. If you like something else besides water, try their Fizzies. The deli has a friendly atmosphere.

Came for lunch and had the best roasted beef sandwich ever, served with melted cheddar cheese on a Gluten-free bun. Complemented by the signature hot chocolate. Yum! Every time I return to The Dilly Duck Shop for breakfast, I’m amazed at the quality of the food and graciousness of the hosts. My favorite is the Classical Egg Sandwich, which comes with choice of crispy bacon, roasted ham, or rotisserie roasted pork & fennel. It’s also available on Gluten-free toast. They serve GF cookies, too. The hot chocolate, infused with honey and topped with whipped cream and cinnamon, is the best I’ve had outside of Paris. The Dilly Duck Shop is a must visit!

Love the Dilly Duck Shop! The quiche of the day is my go-to when I crave a comfort food. The fries are tasty - look at the herbs they put on! And we love Phyllis! Her son is the mastermind/chef of the unique menu. There is indoor and outdoor seating. Go check it out!

The service was fantastic. They were busy but the employees were still polite. The quiche was outstanding. The lemon fizz drink was great. The chocolate chip cookies were perfect.

This place is straight out of a movie. The staff really cares about each and every customer that walks in that door. They're gracious and grateful for their customers. Unique menu. But nothing unfamiliar. A great option of drinks. I need a mood for coffee or you want to try that lemon fizz!? Yes to everything. This is a place that you'll go back to over and over again and have a different experience with the food. They have specials every day. But get there early, because it will go fast. To me that's a great sign of a good place. Even when it's busy you won't have to wait long for a table if you'd like to stay. You're guaranteed a smile when you walk in that door. This is a gem of a place.

Fantastic. Simple food done well and made fresh. Reasonably priced with a great interior too. The coffee menu is great too and coffee done properly. The rotisserie pork is very good, highly recommended. The menu is not 10 pages long which seems to be the case in most American restaurants, and the food tastes how it should, not combined with 20 other ingredients. This restaurant had a bit of a European feel to it and I will be going back to this gem. Edit: just been back, great good. Had a child with us, there’s no child menu which is fair enough. However charging $2.50 for half a sliced tomato? Do me a favour. Lose a star.

We live 30 minutes away but whenever we’re in the area, we ALWAYS stop by Dilly Duck and look forward to it! The menu is different enough from your standard lunch spot around here and everything is perfectly executed and delicious - I love particularly the beef platter and roasted chai latte with oat milk which we’re told is roasted by the the chef himself. Plus the lady who works there is literally the NICEST person in the world. There could be a long line yet she’s always smiling and taking time to personally take your food to your table. A must go for sure!!

This place is amazing!! My fiancé and I recently moved to Connecticut and we absolutely love it here. Great place for an amazing breakfast sandwich, and a perfect coffee. Everyone is so welcoming and everything is so clean…definitely one of our favorite spots! We are looking forward to having lunch or dinner here soon as well!!

Excellent. Simply excellent. Foodie friends of mine said they’d been and couldn’t recommend, but I was at a loose end this morning while in town and the reviews said otherwise. And boy were the reviews right. I’m a lover of all things swine and this is piggie heaven. I chose to have the number 1… Pork Stack. The roasted and sliced pork loin was absolutely divine, mixed in with bacon and a fried egg and some yummy compote-ey stuff. So why only a 4 star…. I’d have personally liked the potatoes to be crisped on the outside. But yummy all the same.

Delicious! The food is amazing & atmosphere and people are great. The Bravas fries were the perfect split with a buddy. Delicious minty Palmer Fizz was a hit. Reasonable prices. A welcoming feeling where your eating somewhere filled with love. One of my favorite spots in CT. We make a point to stop here to brighten up car rides.

Got the harvest salad and it was basically only arugula...I've never had a salad that skimped out of sweet potatoes or beets like this. Literally only a tablespoon of sweet potatoes!! I will say the dressing was great but I really was expecting more sweet potatoes since it was $11. As a first time customer I don't really want to return back. My husband has the pesto chicken sandwich and the chicken tasted like microwaved deli chicken

We were in the area to visit Michele's Pies next door and another customer told us about this place. Given the glowing review we couldn't pass it up. Food was amazing. I had a breakfast sandwich with the rotisserie pork and my wife ordered the quiche (cheddar and leek). Quite possibly the best quiche I've ever had. We had a great conversation with the chef's mother about the restaurant and she gave us some really good recommendations for other bakeries and some breweries in the area.

Find of the year! We needed to escape Rt 95 traffic mid-Connecticut to give our 7-month-old a road trip break halfway through a 6hr drive from Cape Cod to PA. We took a Google Maps gamble on The Dilly Duck Shop based on the reviews. We were greeted with genuine hospitality and enjoyed a nice selection of interesting dishes and a completely fantastic breakfast experience. The chai was exquisite and house-made with plenty of latte and espresso shot options. The breakfast menu was clean and refreshing and we loved our pork & veggie "stacks" after finally narrowing down from multiple tempting selections. And they have lunch, cider, craft beer, wine, incredible looking cookies, if we lived closer we'd be regulars! Thanks for creating an instant tradition, we.ll definitely make a point to be back on our next trip! If you are anywhere close, go here!
