Best experience in Aiken so far. Hostess gave warm greeting, sat quickly and order taken by young and enthusiastic server. Rohan Josh, Goat Biriani, Naan aloo we’re phenomenal. All different with fresh herbs and spicy as per our request! Mango lassi was incredible and full of flavor. Presentation, quality, staff, TASTE, value, and cleanliness were superb. Only thing is the timing to have staff take our order a little long, and for pacing, naan could have come out before entrees. It was spectacular. Great place to try in Aiken and we will be back soon. A must to visit here! One thing to keep in mind, if you like spicy, get medium. Spicy is extra spicy which we have had atomic wings and are okay with that but if you don’t like that level of spicy, go a size down from your usual.

The food is absolutely amazing I got the butter chicken and garlic naan. Our server was chinmay and he was the sweetest! We also tried the mango smoothie and it was delish! Will definitely be back.

Very good. Our first time there and I had the Lamb Vindaloo. Regardless of how much you like hot and spicy, I would recommend going with medium rather than hot on your first try.

Chinmay was our server. I have been to many Indian restaurants in cities with far larger Indian populations, and this experience was still something to write about. The naan bread and roti were perfect, and the butter chicken and lamb tikka masala were served in superb portions. I will definitely return.

Taj Aiken is absolutely wonderful. We had never been here but the food is amazing. They have so many lamb dishes which is hard to find in the area. The atmosphere is authentic and inviting. The staff are very attentive and polite. This will be a regular dinner spot for us now! Easy access from alley/street parking.

We never expected to find such great Indian food in a town like Aiken! We've been many many times and it is consistently good.

My family and I come here at least once a month, it is one of our favorite restaurants in the CSRA. They are always so nice and super accommodating! My 4 year old loves coming here, they always bring him some sort of treat which is SO sweet. Sometimes we bring our 80lb dog and sit outside and they have even brought him a water bowl. My favorite dish is the Butter Chicken. 5/5 stars, if you get the chance to come here, please do, I promise you wont regret it!

I loved EVERYTHING about this cute Indian food restaurant. It wasy first time having any Indian food and I only chose an appetizer this time. I ordered the Chicken 65. It was delicious!!!!

Called in and ordered my food to-go. Showed up 30 min later and my food and drink was ready to go! In and out super quickly Food was DELICIOUS!! Vegetable biryani was amazing (and portion size was HUGE! Definitely have leftovers for tomorrow) and the garlic naan and veggie samosas were a hit! Mango lassi was creamy and delicious I will definitely be returning

The food is so good! Even if you have never had Indian I definitely would recommend giving them a try! I would recommend the Gobi 65 appetizer, Chicken Saag as a meal (very mild) If you want a little spice go with the chicken biryani. Next time you’re in downtown Aiken give them a try!

The food is amazing tasting and cooked perfectly. The restaurant is small and comfortable, good for chatting. The prices were reasonable (plenty of meals around $15) and there was a ton of menu choices. As a vegetarian, they had more choices than I'd ever seen on any menu. I love the sweet, spicy, and tangy foods. Don't worry meaters, there is lamb, chicken, and seafood too. There were plenty of alcohol drink options too, both beer and wine. I'd easily give it five+ stars but our waiter must have been having a bad day, which was too bad because there was a nice young woman waiting other tables that stopped to joke with us. I'll wait until our next visit and hopefully, I can change my rating.

This may be one of the best Indian restaurants I have ever been to, and I have been to quite a few! The food is fresh and spiced perfectly. Even a dish that has lot of heat still has a lot of flavor. The staff is friendly and service is great!

My first time trying Indian Food and I really wanted to love it but unfortunately this wasn’t the best first impression.

Everything about this restaurant is delightful. The decor was very sweet, loved the images of India that looped on the screens. My partner had the lamb saag- it was absolutely delicious with flavor too big to contain on a plate. I had the goat chettinad- the goat was tender and seasoned to perfection. Paired with Indian beer and Naan- we had a home run dinner. We highly recommend this restaurant!
