Very tradition balinese village life art and painting must see

The place look oke .but bit old. no wonder because the family from the owner are stay on the side . but diring time some of the colektion are not maintanance by proper way. i fell sorry is not enough kapasity from the family to make a better place for all those arts. because i saw some of the colektion are high value painting but old. hope fully some body will take care more than just clean the floor but have to love too all painting. and know about the wood frame. any way some of expensive value paint is still there.

We drove around Ubud and stumbled upon this place by accident. They weren't really ready to open yet when we arrived there at 10:30. Nevertheless, the owner showed us around, told us about his collection of Batuan art and his mission to bring its most important works back to the village. Highly recommended!

A hidden treasure ! Beautiful exhibition of Batuan paintings, masks and contemporary paintings. Far from neat museum, this place needs your visit and it's worth while !
