very good service and good food they are so friendly! i think this was one of the best i ever tried. i would definitely go back there if ever i have chance to go back in Darmstadt.

A lovely gem in Darmstadt! The owners gave us a very warm welcome and the proportions and food were excellent. The food has a good spice to it and we left quite content.

Yetenbi is a great and very good restaurant. The chef cooks authentic very tasteful Ethiopian food. Her husband is a very friendly and helpful host. All the food you order you have to eat the traditional Ethiopian way: with your hands. And the prices are very good. In the summer you can eat in the lovely beergarten. Inside It is also very nice and cosy. So if you are in Darmstadt or in the neighbourhood you have to eat here!

We went there with some friends and children. There were four adults and four children, the food was great. They have both original african choices and a small selection of pizzas as an alternative. We took three african dishes and selected (requires pre-order) the gluten-free bread (Injera). The food tasted above my expectations. The environment was nice and the service excelent. The kids were playing and they were always playful with them, at some point they even showed the kids how the kitchen works. Fantastic! To bad I can only give 5 stars, this was outstanding.

My boyfriend and I stumbled upon this place after walking past the somewhat hidden entrance on Heidelberger Straße and decided to take a peek inside. It is an absolute gem. The food and service provided by the man and wife team is top notch. There are quite a few vegetarian options and dishes ranging from sweet to spicy. We really enjoyed sharing a plate with a mixture of vegetarian and non-veg options. Would reccomend!!!

Yetenbi offers a unique lunch and dining experience. The food is healthy, tasty and very affordable. The homely atmosphere is warm and welcoming, and the owners are lovely people.

This restaurant is one of the hidden gems of Darmstdat. It made me feel like I was back in Addis Ababa again. The German husband and Ethiopian wife work the restaurant all by themselves and they're super friendly and warm. As for the food, it's delicious and authentic Eritrean/Ethiopian food. I highly recommend it.
