I had written a very nice review for this place few months back, but unfortunately I had to delete it. Yesterday, we ordered Panner tikka masala and dal fry from this place. And what a disaster it was. Dal was just boiled and mixed with random spices with no tadka (tempering) on it. And the PANEER. I had specifically confirmed if they make paneer tikka and the lady said yes. What they gave was plain paneer cubes mixed in tomato sauce. Utterly horrible. Why wasn’t paneer grilled in tandoor. Why misguide people and sell something that is not authentic. You could have called it paneer curry masala something. Why tikka? And the arrogant lady at the counter. Her behaviour is so unwelcoming and seems absolutely disinterested in treating the customers properly. I will never order from here again. That panner tikka. SO PERFECTLY GRILLED 😡

Having lived in Germany for few years now and after trying out many Indian restaurants, I can definitely say that this is one of the very bests. I tried the chicken korma and was pleasantly surprised. The taste was definitely as authentic as you would expect in India, which is quite a rare experience here. But the unique thing which sets it apart from most other Indian restaurants in Germany is that the gravy and the ingredients mixed perfectly together and didn't taste as if chicken pieces were dipped in some colored liquid! Their efforts to cook authentic food from scratch shows in the taste. I would order again and recommend others too.

Its incredibly genuine considering the fact that a lot of South Asian food outlets seemingly lose some of that uniqueness when they make the jump between continents. Very consistent quality too, from the dishes to the mango lassi. I would recommend this place like no other, as its the only desi food outlet here in Darmstadt which exceeded my expectations.
