It’s been 11 days and I am still waiting for my refund!.. they took 100Eurs deposit wonder why ? They don’t have a mini bar at room, not a bottle of water ! Not a wardrobe, nothing. It’s kind of hostel, tiny rooms, nowhere to put your clothes, belongings!.. They take deposit from your credit card and they keep holding deposits after you leave hotel. It’s been 11 days are you kidding? What we have taken away from your hotel! Your walls ? Doors ? Never stay at this place !..

I was truly taken aback by the Moxy Hotel. It went far beyond being just an ordinary hotel; its space-themed ambiance, mesmerizing lights, and unique artwork gave it a distinctive and captivating character. The Lobby featured a football table, and during the evenings, guests could enjoy cocktails while playing. The breakfast spread was delightful, offering a wide variety of both savory and sweet options. The rooms had a pleasing futuristic and minimalistic design, and the spacious bathrooms were incredibly comfortable. Additionally, the presence of a well-equipped gym station made it convenient to stay on top of workouts even while traveling. Though the hotel's location was not in the city center, it was in close proximity to major companies, making it an ideal choice for business travelers. It required a 30-minute walk or a short Bahn ride to reach the city center, but the Mainstation was conveniently only an 8-10 minute walk away. Without a doubt, I would opt for the same hotel for my next trip to Darmstadt.

Rooms are comfortable and large. Breakfast could be improved and the common area inn the lobby not really comfortable

Spent two nights at the hotel. First I thought it was cool, then I saw these nasty stains on the wall! 🤢 I know hotels are disgusting but this is nasty

Moxy Hotel, a mere 800 meters from Darmstadt Hauptbahnhof, was a pleasant experience. The hotel staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating, enhancing the overall stay. The modern amenities added to the comfort. While it's a slightly longer walk, it's still a great choice for convenience and hospitality in Darmstadt.

For those of you unfamiliar with Moxy brand, it’s a no frills type hotel with modest rooms and a focus on common space. The lobby is vibrant with couches and seating and the bartenders are also the front desk agents which equates to very long wait times to check in. Rooms are horrible. They lack a proper desk and very limited stratagem space. End tables are nothing more th an small slabs of plywood. The service is excellent but just be aware of the brand and it’s focus on common space.

Very pleasant experience. Exceeded my expectations. The staff is very welcoming. Beds are hard (you can feel the springs). Shower is excellent. Temp control is a placebo. I'd stay here again if I was in the area.

Overall a nice space. Space themed was kinda cool. They had a breakfast that you could add for an extra cost, with a nice spread. Wish the rooms had extra hangers. Everything was clean and the bar being open 24 hours was nice.

Let me start with great staff, location for me at least. Now, Rooms really has just a bed, they don't offer breakfast for platinum members, and charge for parking. It was my 2nd time here and will not stay here again.

The place is very central, close to the train station. The service stuff and personnel at the hotel is very unprofessional! I was there for a business trip, but they could not handle it, to send or print me the bill, which I needed for my company.

They forgot that I have a members booking and breakfast and late check out is included. Very bad customer service. When I said I have paid already for breakfast, the girl at the counter confirmed that I haven't and charged me. Later when I asked her to check, she agreed. Forget apologizing. Very bad service

The rooms had a very strong room freshener which triggered headaches. The entrance says "you smell good". I appreciate that but that doesn't mean I have to stay inside a room freshener bottle! The bathroom has strong bright automatic light. Past midnight when I wake up definitely I don't want to pee under floodlights! Those were annoying as hell. But the staff were good and the location is great. So some scores there!

The staff was nice and helpful. What I liked most was the open fitness. You could go 24h to the fitness depending if you're an early bird or night owl. The gym is small and if you're not the only one well....the machines could already be in use by others. The breakfast variety was really good. I think everybody could find something. What I dislike was at one day not everything was ready by the time, the breakfast was open. That is and always will be a no go for me. The look in the rooms and lobby is new modern on my opinion. Funny and smart......I liked that.

Great breakfast but the room has NO iron, coffee maker, small fridge, phone, no table. It pretty much has a bed and bathroom. I would recommend Best Western or others nearby.

Staff is nice. The music playing at the lobby is good and not too loud. But my room was not cleaned properly.

Lot of bells and whistles but lacks basic amenities in the small rooms like fridge, closet, etc. Overpriced sustainence items such as water bottles. The hotel restaurant is severely understaffed and hence the service is poor. Sometimes orders are mixed, sometimes food is burned, sometimes the staff members forget that orders have been planned.

Friendly staff, easy check in, clean rooms & quick walk to the train station just 2 stops from downtown. Would definitely stay here again. Also love the decor and ambiance.

I recommend this hotel. It’s about 7mins walk from train and bus station, staff very friendly to me and room is clean. I wish wifi can be a bit faster and since there is no desk in room it’s not suited for business travel where you may need to work on computer. Definitely recommend for leisure travel.

Everything was cool. Even the water at the shower the last morning of my study. No hot water at 06:20 am .

Clean and modern hotel with some drawbacks. This is a good place to stay for several days but if you’re looking to stay a week +, I’d look elsewhere. Staff is very nice and accommodating however the rooms are on the smaller size. There is no desk for work, no storage / drawers for clothing and the hotel does not have laundry service available. Breakfast is decent enough, mostly all cold self serve options. The bar is a nice place to hang out and is quite upbeat. I’d definitely go back for a short stay, but if I had to stay two weeks again I’d look for a hotel with better long term accommodations.

Great fresh and modern hotel with a “cool” touch all over! I’m now only going there for my trips to Darmstadt (professional trips) Probably something to add in the room is a place to put the clothes. They actually have to be in your suitcase… you can hang 2-3 shirts but that gives an impression that it’s not tidied.

Room was alright, all essentials were there. Air Con was annoying to use and always turned on by housekeeping despite it being 15 degrees outside. Dinner is lackluster due to kitchen being part of reception, but the alternatives in the area aren't many - especially on Sunday when everything is closed Staff were friendly and helpful, top redeeming piece. Forms to sign in and the menu to order food digitally are all exclusively in German which is incredibly annoying.
