On
a
bike
tour
we
happened
to
see
a
poster
saying
that
there
would
only
be
a
suckling
pig
dinner
here
on
the
1st
and
3rd
Wednesday
in
September.
We
didn't
want
to
miss
this
and
so
yesterday
(September
7th,
2022)
I
and
my
girlfriend
went
to
the
"Arheilger
Mühlchen"
for
the
first
time.
We
found
a
cozy
spot
in
the
beer
garden;
Because
of
the
somewhat
changeable
weather,
under
a
pergola
to
be
on
the
safe
side.
The
suckling
pig
dinner
started
promptly
at
6
p.m.
You
could
put
together
a
salad
at
the
salad
buffet
and
choose
between
different
dressings.
The
suckling
pig
was
still
on
the
spit.
Requests
regarding
the
type
and
choice
of
meat
were
gladly
taken
into
account
and
there
was
plenty
on
offer.
At
the
buffet
you
could
choose
between
several
sauces,
red
cabbage,
sauerkraut,
corn,
green
beans,
potato
dumplings,
bread
dumplings,
croquettes,
hash
browns,
potato
wedges,
fries,
fried
potatoes,
boiled
potatoes,
and
certainly
more,
but
I
couldn't
remember
everything.
The
selection
and
quantity
were
more
than
plentiful.
Everything
we
tasted
tasted
excellent
and
was
of
very
good
quality.
We
were
also
asked
by
the
very
nice
waitresses
to
take
us
a
second
time.
At
the
end
there
was
a
schnapps
for
everyone,
which
was
included
in
the
price
of
the
meal.
With
the
two
non-alcoholic
Hefeweizen
and
a
crystal
clear
wheat
beer,
the
bill
ended
up
being
€45.40,
a
very
excellent
price/performance
ratio.
We're
already
thinking
about
going
back
for
suckling
pig
dinner
in
two
weeks...
(if
the
scale
allows
it).
Update
from
June
7th,
2023
We
were
here
again
today
to
eat
suckling
pig.
In
wonderful
weather
we
sat
outside
in
the
yard
and
had
a
nice
spot
in
the
shade
of
a
tree.
As
always,
the
service
was
friendly
and
quick.
Update
from
August
2nd,
2023
The
suckling
pig
was
particularly
tasty
and
crispy
today.
Unfortunately
the
weather
didn't
cooperate
and
you
couldn't
sit
outside.
