No hospitality or customer orientation at all, not able to check in (due to misfunction of the check-in machine), not answering the phone although they promise to be available until 23.00, receptionist cancelled our booking but the hotel let us pay half of the amount for a room we haven't seen, no way you go there. Treated badly and unkind

This is a basic, decent and clean hotel. My room was comfy and everything looked very new BUT it had no windows, just a skylight. No-one is staffing the reception desk at night, and they have a reception kiosk which is a somewhat hit and miss, so be warned.

Clean and nice room - the double one. The single rooms are with roof windows. Furniture is contemporary. No refrigerator. Local heating system - it is very warm, but this can be regulated. Espresso could be taken from a machin - 1 euro. The working hours for the reception is from 7.00 to 17.00 Mon- Sat.; and to 14.00 on Sun. If nobody is available at the reception, guests need to be checked in and obtain their key cards via machin. This requires to pay during one of the steps via credit card.

Clean hotel. Self Check in Counter did not accept my colleague's credit card (a first) so he had to use his private card. Seems to have problems interfacing with HRS as another guest suddenly had my name when he checked in with his reservation number and later on the invoice (I only learned this by chance when leaving in the morning and overhearing the discussion). My credit card also got charged a 90% no show fee for a reservation I made erroneously and cancelled two minutes after I made it. Room itself was OK, bathroom was quite small, but the skylight could not be opened (air was a bit stifling) and wasn't very sound proof taking from the plane noises I could hear.

A nice, affordable hotel. Rooms are spacious and clean. The staff can speak English and are friendly and helpful. Hotel is at a walk-able distance from the city centre. Penny Market is right next to the hotel, so one can buy food and other stuff easily. There is also a Burger King nearby which is open 24 hours. TV and WiFi facilities are available for free. But the WiFi sometimes does not work.

we spent 4 nights at the hotel. Generally, everything is good with the reasonable price. However, there is not an aircondition for which the averaging 30 degree Celsius summer in Darmstadt is hard to survive.

It was really a good experience! The rooms was clean and with big windows, which illuminated the room. There is also different supermarkets and a Burger King (open 24 hours).

Great for short stays. Rooms are clean and fresh. Located next to a grocery store and has restaurants within walking distance.
