In
my
25
years…
finally!
Nakasulay
na
gyud
ko’g
kaon
sa
Blue
Carabao
(now
known
as
BluCab
Cafe)
🥹
BluCab
is
a
long-standing
legend.
It
is
definitely
among
the
must-try
diners
in
Davao
City.
And
I
am
happy
to
have
found
them
in
their
new
location
along
Monteverde
St.
(near
the
fire
station).
The
diner
offers
Filipino
home-cooked
meals
at
affordable
prices.
It
was
unbelievable
that
our
bill
only
totaled
390
PHP.
Quarter-leg
fried
chicken,
huge
piece
of
lumpia,
pork
steak
in
200
ml
tub,
and
two
big
servings
of
rice
ALL
AT
390
PHP!
😳👌🏻
TANAN
LAMI.
Lumpia
was
fresh,
hot
and
crispy!
Its
vinegar
sauce
made
it
more
flavorsome.
I
loved
the
overall
saltiness
and
sourness.
The
fried
chicken,
on
the
other
hand,
had
tasty
breading
and
was
well-cooked.
Although
no
longer
crispy,
the
fried
chicken
was
delicious.
Dili
kaayo
tender
ang
pork
steak
pero
okay
lang!
Portante
lami.
Amo
lang
gi
take
out
para
maluto
usab
and
tenderize.
The
best
thing
about
this
kind
of
places
is
that
you
can
always
ask
for
soup
at
no
additional
cost.
In
order
words,
FREE
SABAW.
😂
We
actually
had
lunch
at
12:30
pm
and
thankfully,
there
were
available
seats
when
we
arrived.
Even
at
1:00
pm,
BluCab
Cafe
was
still
busy
and
booming.
Staffs
were
approachable
and
welcoming.
Simply
put,
the
place
was
lively
and
full
of
positive
energy.
BluCab
Cafe
deserves
recognition
for
their
quality
dishes
and
customer
service.
It
became
clear
to
me
as
to
why
many
people
patronize
this
place.
It
was
not
due
to
hype
or
anything
similar.
Lami
lang
gyud
ilang
pagkaon
plus
sulit.
Normally,
I
would
not
expect
much
from
a
Filipino
eatery.
However,
I
had
a
really
good
experience
dining
at
BluCab
Cafe.
I
was
comfortable.
I
was
happy.
I
was
full.
