Visited this place today and loved it. Being a Saturday in the summer it was packed with locals today but that’s fine. Added to the experience. It’s a very cool spot and so much fun jumping off the cliffs. The water was just the perfect temperature and it was very easy to spent a couple of hours here. Definitely worth going to and we would definitely go back. It was $4 for us (2 adults and two kids)

Real cool to jump into the canyon and let the water take you downstream. Not much to do here so use it as a beach day, but at a canyon. I coulda spent 20 minutes and then left, but was with a group who wanted to sit around for an hour or so. Definitely don't need a long time here, but you can spend as long as you want.

First time I came here it was June and the water was a bit faster and grey, but I got in and loved it. Today, 5 months later, is crystal blue and amazing. Either way you will have a good day!

Nice swimming spot, can get crowded on a Sunday. Perfect activity to do as a family. We paid $2 entrance per car. You can take your own food and drinks, but they also sell food, cool drinks and cold fresh coconuts ($1) It's pet friendly and there were 2 lofe guards on duty.

It is a great place to cool down, you can take a local bus to Gualaca township from David (1.70$). Then follow the sign to Los Cangilones de Gualaca, it would be another 20 minutes walking to the river.

Really nice place to visit, there is an area that looks like a mini canyon, crystalline water, and is well preserved (trashcans in the entry area, staircase access, parking area). Local law enforcement monitors the area every so often, and there is an entrance fee per vehicle which is used towards the preservation of the area.

What a great afternoon - one of our (with 3 kids around 13 years old) highlights in Panama. Jumps into the water from different heights...

Totally worth going. A must stop if you are in the area. The entrance is only USD 2 per car. The river is pristine and is well kept. Suggest to go early or in weekdays to have it all for yourself.

A great place to swim and enjoy ‘fish spa’. The fish literally chomp at your feet just like having a fish spa except you don’t have to pay. Water is so refreshing and clean. Canyon is deep but you can swim along the river if you can swim. It is very deep . Love our afternoon here. $2 parking per car.

Interesting natural wonder that is easy to visit on the way to or from Boquete, provided that you have your own means of transportation. We went on a weekday and were the only ones there. We also didn't have to pay an entrance fee. (Which may be different on the weekend and holidays?) Our kids loved wading into the water and adults can go for a swim in between the rock walls. Highly recommended!

Very nice place to stay for a couple of hours. They only charge you 2 dollars per car. If you like it quiet, don’t go in the weekend because Panamanian people like very loud music 🔊🔊

Ist einen Abstecher wert, vor allem an heißen Tagen tut die Abkühlung gut. Aufgeräumt und sauber

Great place to spend the day or few hours in a relaxing mode, the water is clear and have a big parking area, there is an entrance fee $2.00 per car at the time of visited. There is a downside at the moment the Cangilones is obstructed with an old tree, causing some of the water to sit in there along with some trash. In general is a great place to relax and enjoy the day.

Such a fun, off the beaten path, activity. There were several local families there. Kids jumping and playing. The water is a bit swift going into the crack so be careful with little ones or those that don't swim well. Great activity! Water is a lovely temperature as well.

Great and fun place to swim in a streaming river and jump off the rocks. Water is very clean and refreshing. Can get busy on the weekends. Not many tourists.

A spiritual experience. A Panamanian baptism. A privilege and honor to swim and be accepted in this beautiful ancient gathering place. If the rocks could talk and they did. I found a fossil. If anyone can identify it please do so.

We drove down from Boquete in early January 2021. The gate was locked but no signs and multiple cars parked outside the gate. We walked down (15 mins) and there were only 7 people there. It’s nice. Lovely water. Small. The slot canyon section is only about 50 meters long. Way hotter here vs boquete. Note: giant spiders on the walls as you swim through.
