Great experience. The waterfall is such a fun, beautiful attraction that you have all access to when you stay at the hostel. The host, Peter was very friendly and knowledgeable about Panama. The price is great for a kitchen open 24/7, private room, and many seating areas. I liked that he had chickens because they kept the bugs away. It was quiet when we were there, surrounding rooms were booked but no large gatherings going on. The pool wasn't open when we were there, but we swam in the fresh waterfall anyways. There is a bus stop to Boquete at the top of the driveway which is convenient, too. Will definitely return when in the area again.

Clean, ac rooms available, tv rooms available, the absolute KINDEST and most helpful owners. Jaquonda and Peter literally went out of their way every day to help my thrive here in David. 2 huge swimming pools, volleyball court, lots of open space, tropical, wet bar, and an amazing waterfall! Absolutely worth every penny!

For the price this is a great place but set your expectations correctly. This is a backpackers hostel, not the Waldorf Astoria! Several reviewers said the staff is unfriendly, not true, Peter and his crew were very hospitable and were the only ones who picked up the phone when we really needed a place to stay. The waterfall on the property is gorgeous! Great place for travelers on a budget **with the right attitude**. Plus the wifi was strong! So, to sum up, if you're a fancy snowflake, don't bother. If you need a place to crash and like to talk to interesting people in a beautiful location, this is your place. P.S. There's also a super cute monkey named Tiki on premises. And, supposedly, a sloth!

The proximity from the main road to Boquete is a plus, you can cook your own food using the share kitchen, you'll be wake up by the birds. Ask for Peter or Gioconda. You can refresh on the waterfall that is private and part of the hostel.

Great place to relax and enjoy a swim at the base of a waterfall. I booked 2 nights here but booked the dates. When we arrived they didn't have our reservation. No surprise cuz i F'd up the dates. Owner said no worries just give us a second and we can accommodate you. 5 mins later we were in our private room with AC. Rooms are simple yet comfortable. I found the hostal's kitchen to be clean and has what you need to prepare your own meals. The main attraction is the river and waterfall. So get out of your room and into the water!

Place was closed due to renovations but the owner from Australia was willing to show us around. Will definitely visit after all renovations are completed
