Very professional and knowledgeable doctor with incredibly supportive stuff. I had two visits so far and I have gained a great deal of confidence in Dr. Cantor : he takes his time and goes into smallest details. I am a surgeon myself and thus considered to be the worst patient, yet his efforts and communicative abilities have left me at ease during both visits. The technical aspects of his office are cutting edge (maybe some pun intended) and so far I feel very comfortable with his treatment approach. A+ to him and his helpers

I thank God for Dr. Giuffrida and his staff who are a refreshing change from another pain management provider I patronized for several years. There is a wonderful ambience in his office indicated by warm and friendly interactions....in fact I have never been greeted with so many SMILES at a doctors office before!. Dr. G. was ON TIME and very personable and methodical in his interactions and investigation into my chronic lower back condition. His initial diagnosis and treatment was 100% spot on and now I'm working pain-free as a 70 years young handyman, and fishing offshore in my little boat again!

I've been to the center twice (consultation and procedure). Dr. Giuffrida and staff are great! Starting with the front desk staff, medical assistants, RNs, etc. - everyone did an excellent job. They thoroughly explained my problem and on the day of my procedure, took very good care of me - always asking how I was doing. Thank you!

Extremely disappointing. I took a PTO day from work to drive over an hour to see this doctor for severe back pain. Only to get to the center and was told they didn’t have any appointment for me and no doctor to see me. I had a text confirmation of when I called: so so disappointing to have used time at work, wait over a week and have to drive back without being seen. So unprofessional. They didn’t even know what explanation to give me other that we can reschedule you for another day!!!

Dr. Cantor is one-of-a-kind. I choose specialists among those who are on my health plan and publish more than 2 research papers a year in first flight journals. Cantor does that easily. He is THE pre-eminent authority in his field, is responsible for numerous advances in ultrasonic, minimally invasive techniques and supervises you from your diet, to rehabilitative physical therapy, recommends other specialists to help you recover faster and assist you with better overall health. His recommendation for visits I made to supporting specialists meant I changed my daily routine from too many prescriptions to only 4, nothing short of a miracle. He and his team are the best. I have never seen any other even close. I can easily say he is the best in the hemisphere if not globally. Anyone who wants a physician who is a first class surgeon, scientist and kind human being need look no further. by Dr. John Pipoly

In October 2022 I had surgery for spinal stenosis by Dr. Asghar. He was extremely personal, caring, patient with questions, and displayed an extraordinary knowledge of the science and expertise in spinal procedures. The surgery was very successful. His staff was very helpful in answering my inquiries. I feel very thankful that I was directed to him. After the surgery I received physical therapy at the center. The therapy is outstanding. My therapist is an extraordinary professional, named Corey Gonzales, who holds an advanced degree in physical therapy, and he demonstrated excellent knowledge of the practice. He has an extensive repertoire of exercises and the areas they target. He is very personable, gentle, and caring.

Dr giufrida and his nurse Anderson should be fired . I have a severe protrusion at c6/7 causing narrowing of the central canal and neural foramina . I had a epidural and some steroid injections and I’m still disabled with chronic neck and shoulder pain . And constant headache . She threw me back at physical therapy. Just incompetent. This was 2022. I should have seen Dr Cantor because I see here he gets all the positive reviews.

There aren’t enough stars to post about Dr. Jeffrey Cantor and his team. I am a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist CRNA and have experience providing anesthesia for many spine surgeons in South Florida. When we found out that my partner would need and anterior/posterior cervical spine procedure I knew precisely who to go to. Because of my background, working with many surgeons, in many specialties, I am often asked by friends for recommendations. Never the less, when my partner needed surgery, I did my homework. We sought out three opinions, surgical and non surgical, to determine if surgery was indeed necessary, My partner Robert was very active, gym 5-6 days a week and hiker. When he started having right arm weakness, followed by a rapid loss of muscle mass cause by nerve impingement, we knew it was serious. From the first consultation, and explaining ever detail, to the day of surgery and continuing to reassure our concerns, Dr. Cantor never rushed a single conversation, or ever pushed any course of action. Simply gave us his well qualified option and recommendation. After more of my own research, I realized that waiting could put us into an emergency situation with progressive nerve impingement, and we wanted to avoid that at all cost. We decided to move forward with the procedure. The surgery went exactly as expected. The recovery, rough at times, also went exactly as expected with no surprises. Robert followed the post op instructions to the T. Three months later, he is pain free, back in the gym, and regaining the muscle mass that was lost. We couldn’t be more satisfied. If there is one thing I could impress more than anything else, who you are treated by first probably has the biggest impact on surgical outcomes. This includes everything from pre operative care, to surgery, to post op care and rehabilitation. As far as I am concerned, Dr Cantor and his team are the best in South Florida. Joey Knapich CRNA

Dr. Anthony Giuffrida and his staff have taken great care of me. I have a history of chronic lower back pain. I have been to numerous Doctors and Physical Therapy specialists and no one has been able to figure out what to do to alleviate the pain. But, Dr. G and those that work with him have not given up on me. I am having a procedure next week that gives me a 95% chance of being pain free. I have lived with this chronic pain for decades and now there is relief in sight. I cannot properly express my gratitude. I highly recommend this team.

Dr. Giuffrida and his staff were absolutly terrific to work with. I had several injection and ablations done over the last year. My appointments were always right on time. They took their time with me and I never felt rushed. I also did physical therapy with Cory Gonzalez. He was also great to work with and helped me tremendously with my issues. I highly recommend the Cantor Spine System and their staff.

After 15 years of steroid injections, physical therapy, and an unhealthy amount of meds, I decided to visit a spine surgeon. Now I wish I had met Dr. Cantor 15 years ago. With all my MRI's and some high quality X-Rays Dr. Cantor was able to quickly and precisely diagnose a failed facet joint. He performed an L4-L5 fusion that changed my life. I must admit sometimes It is hard to get an appointment at the Spine Center, but there is a very good reason. People come from other parts of the country to see these doctors. My surgery was in June last year (2022). A month later I was walking a mile a day on a treadmill. Three months later I was back on my bicycle. Six months later I was hiking mountain trails. I recently completed a multi-day off-road motorcycle trip with no pain. Life changing. Doctor Cantor, thank you so much sir. Best

This practice is absolutely incredible. I was told that Jeffrey Cantor is brilliant and the doctors he surrounds himself with are brilliant as well - my husband and I can't agree more. After 4 previous spinal fusions the 5th with Cantor Spine was the best overall experience and outcome. Giuffrida and Chhatlani were great to work with on the pain management side. Scott Raffa is a phenomenal surgeon with excellent bedside manner who went above and beyond in and outside the OR. The office staff was on top of every concern, and worked diligently to make sure my husband had the surgery with no delays. We can't thank you all enough, you gave my husband a new lease on life and we are forever grateful!

I am celebrating 1 year since my surgery with Dr. Cantor. I am so thankful that I continue to be PAIN FREE. I cannot say enough kind words for all the doctors and staff that cared for me during the 9 months I suffered with sciatic pain. Prior to my surgery, just standing on my feet caused pain in my left leg. Since the surgery, I have been able to go to Disney World, walk around San Diego Zoo, and even the simple things like grocery shop…all completely pain free. I still need to be mindful of good back health as genetics and a slight curve in my back make me susceptible to future problems. I continue to be mindful of the “BLT” (no bending, lifting or twisting). I am able to bend, lift and twist, but not too much. I limit and prevent any movement that puts any strain on my lower back. I cannot recommend the Cantor Spine Center any higher! They are a phenomenal office 😊😊

I just had my first visit and had a great experience. Office well managed and all the staff super kind. Met with Dr Chhatlani and Dr Giuffrida. They were both thorough and seem to care about my issue. Also dr Chhatlani was able to rush a test I needed- which Im really grateful for.

I went to Cantor Spine Center to get an injection procedure done with Dr. Chhatlani and I have nothing but wonderful things to say about my experience. From start to finish the entire staff was so welcoming and had such an inviting personality. It was my first time getting injections and they made me feel so comfortable and talked me through the entire procedure explaining exactly what was going on. Dr. Chhatlani and his team (especially Linda) are fantastic and I highly recommend this place! 10/10 experience.

Very impressed from the moment I walked in to the moment I left. Their professionalism, their attention to detail, their expertise, diagnosis and their suggested treatment. All in all, great experience. I highly recommend this group.

I've seen Dr.Giuffrida for pain management different times. Add epidural injection left side sciatica two years ago and still pain free. Had hip injection last Monday and 80% better which I'm so greatful for. His office staff has always been considerate and plesent. His medical assistant has always returned calls when I leave a message.

Corey Gonzalez and Dr Giuffrida were very instrumental in getting me back in shape and pain free. Corey is an excellent physical therapist and works one on one with his patients. He genuinely cares and I highly recommend him to anyone needing Physical therapy. Also the entire staff at Cantor Spine/Paley Institute goes above and beyond to make you comfortable and feel welcome.

Dr G and Corey have been very instrumental in helping me continue in my highly active life with a better understanding of my body. During CoVid I had 2 injuries which required I adjust my activities and modify. I am thankful for their IMMENSE knowledge base and continued pursuit of best in practice methods. Also, punctual office visits and I could tell all the staff enjoy their jobs. Highly recommend.

I had a c4/c5 cervical fusion back in Jan 2021 by Dr. Cantor. Although my neck felt much better, I felt like I needed more flexibility in it, so I attended several weeks of physical therapy at Cantor Spine Institute with Corey Gonzalez. Corey was great....he listened to my issues, and showed me numerous exercises on how to strengthen and gain flexibility in my neck, and carefully supervised me while I performed them in the office. Then he provided the exercises in hard copy so I could perform them at home, which I have continued to do. I definitely have improved my range of motion. I would recommend Corey to help anyone who has gone through any type of cervical or lumbar surgery.
