Gyrohouse is a hidden gem! The selections are packed with flavor, the portions are generous, and the owner is always friendly and the nicest person you’ll ever meet. Definitely one of my go-to spots for a quick, delicious meal.

So I love a good gyro and we saw a 4.8 review here and we popped in. Great place!!! It's like we walked into a Sienfeld episode of the soup guy only the guys were super kind and generous. Definitely a language barrier but adds so much to it! They gave us samples of the lamb and chicken, and even that was incredible and well done with rice and sauce. Like the best hidden gem in owensboro... Well Done!

We really enjoy Gyro House! The owner is great and the food is amazing! Them having a drive thru makes it a great choice with kids. The chicken platter is my go-to order and it’s phenomenal. The tzatziki sauce is so fresh and perfect on the food. We’ve never not enjoyed food from Gyro House!

As a vegan, I've had a lot of falafel in my time. The falafel here is the best I've ever tasted. I watched the owner shape each one by hand, and they were fried perfectly. For the meat eaters, my husband devoured his chicken and steak shawarma platter and said it was delicious. We don't live in Owensboro, so will just wait longingly until the next time we pass through.

This place is fire! Very tasty. Been there twice in like a week. The meat has the perfect flavor without being overpowering.

Don't dismiss this little Greek treasure on the East Side of Owensboro. Tucked away in the strip mall across HWY 54 from Ritzy's, this place offers authentic Greek cuisine full of flavor and freshly made. Their lamb is some of the best I've had and their chicken was well liked by my wife. The Tzatziki sauce was spot on and their Tabbouleh salad was flavorful and amazing. I couldn't pass up trying their Baklava while there too. I wish it had just a bit more honey syrup, but it was super light and flaky as would be expected. I hope this place makes it and has the time and money to invest in seating and serving dishes/to-go containers. Spending a little on both will likely draw in more of a crowd and improve the overall professionalism and appearance of the restaurant. Overall a great visit and I will certainly be coming back for more.

Cannot complain about this place, service was fast food was hot and fresh. And the flavors were absolutely amazing. They have a wide selection on their menu, I will go back again. Today I ordered the Gyro with fries, and it did not disappoint. If you’re on the other side of Owensboro looking for a good place to eat that’s not a chain restaurant give them a chance. Very good food you will not be disappointed.

The staff was so friendly and helpful. The food was flavorful and truly amazing. They sale the Dubai chocolate and it's amazing. This is my new favorite spot.
