Great trail system. Horribly managed from a communications standpoint and always has been. Closed constantly without notice. Common to drive an hour to arrive and the gate is closed for dampness or even on a sunny day. Today 8-11-24 was another prime example. Website says open, sun is shining and the gate is locked. Always hoping for better….

We are new to the area and we're very happy to find the Ruby mines trail. It's a beautiful and peaceful place. The pups loved it too.

The blue hike was fantastic. Bikers were polite. I love hiking here. Trails were well marked and we saw a family of deer, many turtles, and birds.

A rollercoaster course! Love it! Banked corners provide many thrills. Nothing a novice can't accomplish, but a good rider can be challenged to miss the trees at 20+ mph. Your speed determines the difficulty. They only mow the brush 2 times a year and when it is not mowed, the trial is a little slower since you can't see as far ahead, but still very fun. There are 9 miles of trails now. There are now more roots than there used to be but still a great trail.

This place is so cool for biking. The trails are well made, yet you get the feeling of being in thick wilderness with the beautiful foliage surrounding the paths. Great little step off the beaten track.

One of our favorite spots to go. Green trail is great for beginners like us. We always enjoy going , even on super hot days, it's shaded and breezy on the bikes. Dog loves to go with us too!

One of the best trails in Western KY! I’ve been riding Rudy Mines for years and its never gotten old. It’s a directional trails that alternates daily and has plenty of quick elevation change to make a sub 10 mile loop feel like a days worth of riding. There a several different trail options so there is something for the entire family. My preferred direction is counter clockwise.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE this trail system! I stumbled upon it in 2016 while traveling to NC for some mtb. I stop here every chance i get when traveling through. A fast, fun, and flowy trail system. There is nothing not to like here!
