Making our way home from the NWT back to Vancouver, we stayed the night at the Super 8 Dawson Creek. The room was nice and clean. The bed was comfy with good pillows. The staff was all really nice. They offer a free breakfast that included bacon and eggs, a pancake maker, fresh coffee and juice and more. Good location off the hiway and the price was right. Would definitely stay here again.

Probably one of the better hotels I've stayed in. Front desk personnel are very helpful, friendly and professional. The fridges cannot hold drinks well. Need to lay most of them down on the shelves. Cannot fit pizza boxes. Minor things. The lights could be a bit brighter with daylight bulbs (5000K bulbs) and not soft white (3000K bulbs) bulbs, too yellow. Would be nice to have more outlets to charge things. Maybe a power bar or strip bar to connect electronics too. Nice that there is a restaurant connected. Breakfast nook area is nice also free. Limited items to choose from, but ok for the most part. Great that they have a coffee stand set up by front desk 24/7. Parking stalls are spaced decently apart and adequate parking on the east side of the hotel on gravel for big trucks, etc. Benches outside for smokers or just to relax. Overall it's nice and comfortable place to stay. No Frills across the street is very handy.

The parking lot is small and there is no side access so you have to go through the entire hotel to get to your room if it's by the end

Jane, the girl who checked us in, made our stay so wonderful. We were traveling through to Alaska and were exhausted, she gave us the closest room she could to the door so we didn't have to walk so far. The room was clean, and the bed was very comfortable. If we travel through Canada again we'd love to stay there again.

Booked a 2 queen room for my family of 4 only to show up to get an “upgrade” to a king and hide away bed. End of the day not a big deal until I went to ask for clean sheets, blankets and pillows, was told there wasn’t any??? What hotel doesn’t have clean bedding? Custom service has been a joke spend the extra $30 bucks and stay at an IHG hotel.

Minus the small parking area this hotel is great! Staff is super friendly, breakfast was decent enough, rooms super clean and very comfortable

Save your money and sanity, DO NOT book here. Not only is their third party booking system an absolute nightmare, but evidently taking a bran muffin to go in the morning from the “complimentary” breakfast bar will absolutely break the bank for them, resulting in being belligerently scolded by their staff . For $140/night; it’s laughable. Go across the street to quite literally any other major hotel conglomerate who will allow to take advantage of complimentary offerings without tedious and pathetic restrictions.

This was a nice hotel. The first night we stayed here we checked in at about 2:30AM. We were provided with a room on the second floor. If you get room 222 the hot and cold tap is backward on the sink. The rest of the room was great however it was clean and the beds were comfortable. We stayed again the following evening because it was a second booking we stayed in a different room. The staff was amazing that checked us in. The young lady that served us was very professional and handled my teasing like a veteran. She was smart and witty. The room was nice and I had a great sleep but my wife actually awaked a couple times because the heater either had the room to hot or to cold. Room 116 if a staff member sees this. We stayed here on November 2nd and 3rd, 2022. Both morning a hot breakfast was provided, they were simple but tasty.

Sola’s Restaurant is a quiet and classy spot to enjoy lunch with an associate. The menu has a good selection, clearly presented.

Good value and clean. Hot breakfast was still included and could be collected from reception. Didn't know the whole first floor was being renovated and the one stairwell so it was a long walk from one end to the other after taking taking stairs with two kids under two. The laundry was also not accessible which isn't noted anywhere which was partly why we chose this property vs others in town.

For the age of the hotel, it is still very nice. Very clean, there have been upgrades over time. The bet was very comfortable. There were six pillows on the bed and they were good quality. It was nice to get a good comfortable sleep before continuing a long drive.

Beds are comfortable decent breakfast very friendly staff nice little gym only thing I wish was that they had different blinds as the AC blows the blinds up letting light into the room but very great experience

Definitely not a 5 star hotel. Maids always touched my personal belongings. Jane at the front desk had a superiority complex.... she did nothing to help me when a man was outside my window and she is very ignorant.
