I experienced abysmal customer service at this location. I tried to find out if my son’s swimming instructor still teaches there so I could sign him up for her class. The front desk didn’t have this information, but they assured me they would find out and call me back with an answer. I’ve never heard back. After a couple of attempts, I decided to reach out to the Aquatics Director. I was ignored yet again. We will not be returning to this location!

Absolutely horrible customer service. I have been trying to get information on swim team for months now. I have left multiple messages (voicemails and emails) with aquatics director and head of membership services. No response. I am told by the receptionist that we get that complaint and call this person to tell this person to call you back. There is no website with information, etc. etc. Really... Go to Maumee Wolf Creek YMCA branch for your kids. However, if I get a response to this complaint, I will revise my review. Don't hold your breath!

This used to be a great place but has declined a lot in the last few years. Examples.....asked for a printout of exercise classes & was told that they're not supposed to do that & we should look them up on line. The exercise classes have been greatly reduced, with a limited selection. The last couple of classes I went to were awful, with the instructor giving minimal direction and spending a lot of time carrying on a personal conversation with someone in the front row instead. It's also dirty......some areas along baseboards & in bathrooms have collected dirt & dust that has been sitting there for months. I've tried another location with very positive results. And it's much much cleaner & friendlier!

Started going to the Y to help rehab my hip replacement after therapy. I love the variety of machines, free weights, pools, and different classes, that they offer. They also have trainers available to help you if needed. I would definitely recommend using the Y in your area...

This YMCA location is great. The staff is always really friendly and helpful. It's not too crowded when I go. The workout equipment is functional and kept clean. My friend and I love to go to the yoga classes. All the instructors we've had have been wonderful and the yoga sessions are so relaxing.

Probably the nicest overall Y of all of the greater Toledo area locations. Fitness center is well updated with new machines regularly being added. Clean, well kept facility and the staff is friendly and helpful.

I leave this place zero stars had to put one to leave a comment but this asked my girlfriend to work there for two summer camp and she did an awesome job there. One day the camp didn't start till one she got there at 1230 because of some issues witch happens with a normal job she was late by a half houre witch happens then apparently she made a kid feel dumb for asking a question about a Beetle referring to something about the theme about the camp at the time witch I find hard to believe because she is vary good with kids and awails trys to help. So don't take your kids here they just want your money and the women have pretend face. They go through temp agencies to get people to work one camp and fire people after one camp I wouldn't want my kidsro go to places like that but ita Perrysburg so do what u want.

They have recently updated the fitness center with new equipment and more weight racks. Really excited to be back and lifting heavy! The Kid Zone is great and my kids are always excited to go there.

Today (December 6th 2023) at around 5pm, my friend and I came in to the YMCA after being turned away from planet fitness because my friend is too young. We decided to see if the Y (seeing that it is a family organization) would allow a 16 year old to lift in their gym if day passes were available to purchase. Being unfamiliar with how subscription works at the Y, we weren’t sure if a day pass was possible but we decided to go in and make sure. When I walked in and asked, an older woman at the front desk very rudely snapped “no we don’t do that here” at me, almost yelling. Taken aback, I apologized and the younger woman gracefully swooped in and explained how membership worked. She was lovely, she is why I have given three stars. I am tired of being treated differently by older employees because they assume young people won’t speak up. I will. I understand that workers aren’t robots and I would like to give this woman the benefit of the doubt. I am writing because I hope this treatment of people does not continue.

After over a year, now this "family friendly" YMCA will not let my son use the track upstairs because "there is equipment on the track." I have seen so many other kids using weight equipment who are far younger than 13, but for some reason my son gets kicked off the track. I can only think of one reason.... I left a message for the GM to call me back and he had the audacity to EMAIL me and never returned my 2nd phone call. This place had treated my black son and I like second class citizens. How is it family friendly to not let kids use the track while their parents can keep an eye on them? Pathetic. Do better.

One of my swim coaches was very rude to me and only me because i was going through a rough time and was sick a lot but my parents dropped me off because of work and she would force me to swim when I was sick. She would mainly do this to me I ended up quitting swim because of her. I forgot what her name was, but i will never come back.

Gym and child watch is awesome. Kids play basketball, soccer, and do swimming lessons here! Great Y.

I love my time and therapy and it's very valuable. Everyone there is very nice and professional. I always feel like I'm getting exactly what I need while there.

Staff is hit or miss sometimes. You might get the most helpful person or an apathetic teen. The lap pool is kind of dirty seeming, always cloudy water but smells clean. The whole building seems outdated but clean. The second nicest y in the toledo area, the one on termainsville is much nicer. I only go because it's close to my house 🤷

I was actually at the Perrysburg YMCA building for a physical therapy appointment , through Mercy Health. The employees here are very helpful and friendly. Stephanie was my therapist, and she took her time with me. She showed me several exercises to strengthen my heels and feet. My walking is MUCH better now, and without pain.
