Good alternative to busy Brown County SP. Whole loop is 5 miles, but old service road cutting through and dividing loop in halves. Couple tracks saved in All Trails app. Enjoy.

Rugged, hilly and beautiful. A great place to hike. North loop goes through a gorgeous creek valley. South loop has more elevation change and is longer. The pine grove near the end of the South loop is a great place for a break! North loop ends with a hefty climb up out of the valley. Highly recommended.

Lots of fungi, mushrooms. They are different in size, shape, and color. Peaceful trail. The southern addition makes it a nice hike for those who like longer walks.

I really enjoy Sycamore Land Trust nature preserves and this one did not disappoint for a hike the day after Thanksgiving. Well-maintained trails, very few of which are old roads (with large gravel on them), so generally the hike is easy on the soles. Some incredible views and very peaceful environment. Conditions were just right for the rare phenomenon of ice flowers since it had rained the day before and dropped below freezing that morning.

Beautiful nature preserve. Trail was well-marked and very easy to follow. Didn't get to do the entire trail as we had to get home but plan to come back soon. Highly recommend!

Good length for a quick day hike. Didn't see anyone on the trail, only two other cars there. Nice creek beds, although not much water.

I had a great time today walking in the frozen ground exploring this beautiful nature trail. This was the North loop.

Nice place to hike. Moderately hilly. Peaceful and quiet, not many people most the times I've been there.

This is approximately 5-6.5 miles of family-friendly trails (if you walk every single trail and road within the Trust), and they are fairly straightforward Brown County hiking. Some moderate ups and downs in typical BC ravines. The trails are maintained well by the Sycamore Land Trust. Typically, there are other hikers or trail runners, but one can go good distances without encountering anyone else. In the spring and early summer, there are many ticks, so bug spray is necessary. Great place to spend a few hours.

Beautiful loop trail. Ups and downs the hills but not hard at all. Passed only one other hiker.
