At first, I had nothing bad to say about LakePointe and their on sight office staff. I generally had a good experience.. that was of course until I moved out. If you think you’ll be getting your security deposit back, think again. I respected the apartment I rented, everything was left functioning and clean, and I followed every move out instruction, yet I was CHARGED $600 for damaged carpet... I’m sorry? I paid over $15,000 to live there for 1 year plus a non-refundable pet fee; none of which went towards replacing the carpet (which should be replaced every time someone moves out anyways?). I was told the carpet has an 8 year life span. So now you know when you’re paying the highest rent per sq foot in the zip code, ya still get dirty carpet that’s been through 8 different people. I’ve been trying to get this charged dismissed for 2 weeks and have been calling many different people.. I was directed to the wrong person 3 times and wasted my time. I have contacted other previous residents, who explained how they have been put through similar situations. I felt it necessary to share since some people are depending or expecting their security deposit back but really you should prepare for the worst.

This community is very nice. Internet is well managed, and they are always striving to make improvements, like keyless entry. The main detractor is the dumpsters, which are overflowing with trash on the ground at least twice a week. For the amount of people in this complex, there needs to be more dumpsters. Or at least proper trash enclosures to make the dumpsters and trash on the ground unsightly, and prevent trash from blowing all over when the wind picks up. The only other issue I have is with at least one of our upstairs neighbors constantly throwing their refuse off the balcony: old bananas, grapes, chunks of old meat, etc. We have a dog, and really don't like her trying to eat stuff like that off the ground, or for one of us to step in something.

The cable service was reduced in content to 'provide better service'. The cost has increased even though it was stated that it would not increase yet, and the service cuts out as much or more than it did prior to the 'upgrade'. Many of the major channels were deleted from service. The only reason to keep the cable service is that there is no longer an antenna offered as was in the past. So if one does not purchase cable from the complex or sign up for Dish, one has NO tv reception. When researched, the new cable offered is owned by the management company

I have been living here at Lake Pointe Apts,for the last three years.I have never had any problems.I really enjoy this experience. I have never lived in an apartment before. I really think I made an excellent choice.

Yes while the apartments are spacious and the natural lighting is great on the third level, you still WON'T get exactly what you're paying for. The internet is absolutely terrible in building14!!! So if you work from home, don't count on being able to. White appliances and not even a microwave is provided, so be prepared to NOT have one. No upgrades in the unit, only on the outside. There are just so many things they could upgrade but choose not too, starting with the old carpet, appliances, and tile floor in the kitchen and bathrooms. It's 2023 and they don't seem to care while still going up on the price! I cannot wait to move!!!!

Working with the staff here has been wonderful, from the leasing staff, to the maintenance team. They are always quick to help you and work with you. We have been here almost 6 months and have been down on our luck quite a bit. They have no problem working with you on your payment and are understanding of your situation. The maintenance team has always come to fix any problem same day. LakePointe is by far the most courteous, and happiest place we have lived at. Not to mention having a place to have summer fun at the pool! We have made so many memories here already and honestly have no interest in leaving any time soon.

We took a tour here of some different styles. People were friendly, place was well cared for and clean. Apartments were spacious and appeared well taken care of.
