It was great to go to a mom and pop restaurant. Service was great. Food was good. Small, friendly place. Go there! Pictured: Beef and chorizo tacos dinner.

The best margarita in Dayton! Jorrge's is a neighborhood, locally owned and operated Mexican restaurant. It has the vibe of a neighborhood bar where everyone knows your name. They have quite a loyal customer base. The food and service are great! It does get busy at times and it may take longer but it is worth it.

Jorrge's Cantina has a great atmosphere, ice cold beer in frosted mugs and excellent, friendly service. Their chips and salsa is good. The salsa has a unique smoked flavor. Unfortunately, the entrees we ordered had no flavor and were an absolute let down. Also, the shrimp was like pre cooked and added. No seasoning.

Owners comes and talks to you every time. Clearly, the vegetables are cut right before their grilled. Never notice a difference till I went here. Now I know. Went 3 times in last 10 days, per recommendation from the bartender at Bonefish. I owe him a drink. I wanted to drink the salsa it’s so good. Really though you have to go here. Unbelievably good!!!

Ive been looking forward to trying the food here for a while now, and after seeing all the reviews I feel like it was a let down or wasted trip. The salsa didn't have much flavor or heat to it, but after adding a little of their hot sauce it tasted better. The burrito was ok, the soft taco was disappointing. I expected fountain machine soda, not bottled....except for the Mexican Coca Cola. The flower peddler was....awkward, to say the least. For that reason alone, I will not be returning. I watched a staff member taking the meal break out on the restaurant floor and a customer come up and hangout with them. I don't know what their relationship was (customer and staff, friends, etc) but it wouldn't be something I'd be comfortable with if a stranger or customer came over to my table and hung out with me while I ate. Seeing the chef come out to the dining area still wearing his black rubber gloves and interacting with customers was a red flag. I really hope he changes gloves and washes his hands frequently. It's my opinion, that this falls into the same disappointing group as Chuy's when it comes to Mexican food..... Taco Bell can do a better job

This is the place to eat in Kettering! You will love the welcoming environment and the wonderful owners. The staff is awesome and helpful. You really can't beat the Golden Margarita. This is probably one of the best secret places in Kettering!

Stopped in for the first time last week for a mini date night with the wife, the food was good my wife got the Pollo loco and I got a steak burrito both of which were good. Their salsa is kind of like a molle and it was probably the best salsa I have ever tried. We got a piture of the frozen house raspberry margaritas as well and couldn't have been happier about the taste and value. Fried ice cream finished the meal and it was just as good as everything else had been. We will definitely be back!

We always have a great time at Jorge’s. Salsa and food is delicious. Jorge (owner) always asks for reviews on the food to make the place better. Glad to see him have his own place finally.
