Excellent drive way and a walkway... Must visit. This starting point is dedicated to World War Soldiers 🪖 Their dedication in war is mentioned with names carved. Also, various other wars like Korea, Vietnam are also remembered. The Eagle 🦅 and National Flag, flies high, always.

Sanford Riverwalk is definitely a hidden gem right outside of Orlando. It is an excellent place to capture magnificent views of wildlife. If you are a lover of nature, this is the perfect place to visit. There are parks, plenty of options for seating, you can even bring a picnic blanket to lay out and enjoy the views. There are plenty of restaurant options to choose from that you can easily walk to. There is a bike trail and a walking trail if you are looking to burn some calories while you visit. This is a great well-kept paved trail. Lots of benches and seating along the way. Not much shade so take plenty of water in the summer time. We rode the Riverwalk as part of our ride around Lake Monroe. Great view of the lake. Lots of interesting stuff to look at if you ride around town a little bit.

Wonderful place to take a nice long walk. Peaceful, picturesque, and scenic. Just a block or 2 walk to downtown Sanford to visit your favorite restaurant or even a coffee shop. Plenty to do and enjoy. Great for family fun.

Great place to come for a walk, run, sit and enjoy the breeze. I recommend bringing sanitizer if you're going to sit on any bench. Unfortunately people do sleep on the benches. Homelessness is REAL! Still great place to visit with family & friends and enjoy the day.

Amazing. Been coming here for years but my phone will only let me post a pic from my most recent visit. They're currently extending and upgrading it and I checked out the newer area with my son riding his bicycle and me with our dog. Such a beautiful place to just get outside and walk.

This is a lovely area with lots of restaurants and an ambiance that is both upscale and small-town. Apart from the traffic, it was great.

Place I go to when I need to clear my head. There's benches throughout the boardwalk around the lake. If you go towards downtown Sanford they have some swing benches too. Only issue is the bugs some days there unbelievably bad and other not so bad.

The city of Sanford has really turned the waterfront into a destination. A trail now runs along the entire length of lake Monroe, and in the downtown area there are lots of benches and swings to relax and enjoy the views.

I enjoy scenic walks as do lots of folks, so sometimes I just sit either in my car or on one of the park benches along the path taking in some quiet time while people watching.

Beautiful park it has a water park for the hot days that you have to pay $2 each person to get in, a big play ground for small kids 2 basketball courts, you can also barbecue or reserve a section for a group activity and a beautiful views of the water they also have vendors ice cream treats and flavor shave ice.

Beautiful and breezy! Easy walking trail along the water. Lots of benches to just sit and take in the view 💞 Make sure to visit nearing sunset!

This is a nice place to walk along St. John’s river. It’s paved all along and parking throughout the trail. You see people fishing along the way.

It was a pretty place to walk along the river and look at the nice boats. They had a few benches along the way. Had a nice covered swings for couples to sit. Along the walk way they had a nice playground for kids. Had a picnic area as well. People fished off side.

This is a beautiful and romantic place , perfect for families.super clean areas friendly people big and nice play ground for kids , basketball area picnic tables beautiful marina the lake view is beautiful. Near two river walk you can find restaurants and shops. Cops are cool persons ready to help with good attitude. This little town is beautiful and peaceful.

The City of Sanford shares with its community and local businesses some of the best free environment for families and friends!

Had a good long walk with lots of music outdoors and beautiful sunset in the evening.

Very pretty area to walk near the water. The view of the Palm trees is really nice.

Near the boat launch is a picnic area with covered tables and there are tons of birds that will come right up and eat out of your hand! They are really used to humans and if you're calm will come to you. Very cool for the kids to learn about birds and interact with them on the wild

Great spot to walk around and take in the view/atmosphere. Very peaceful and not much of a crowd. Plenty of free parking along the roadway. Definitely a must see spot if you are looking for a relaxing getaway.

We went to Marina Island, Sanford and it is a very good place to walk around. Right now there is some damage due to past storms and water level is also increased, so many roads are closed for maintenance. Not the perfect time to visit.
