Honestly, four stars is even pushing it. We had a party of two adults and five children, and after politely asking for two booster seats, the hostess explains the difference between a booster seat and a high chair. Why would a mother of five children need to know the difference? I already explained to her politely and clearly what we needed. Then she gives us an incorrect number of silverware. Waitress comes along, takes all of our orders, and then returns very late with an appetizer that should have arrived much sooner. The salad was unbelievably the worst salad I have ever had- not only was the lettuce frozen but it was also wilted with bits of black, almost mold-like slime. My daughter was unable to eat her Alfredo pasta as it was too hard. My other daughter could not finish her rice because it was extremely salty. Upon further investigation, all of us had rice that was covered in excess sodium!! UNREAL?! I’m not even done yet! My daughter waited over 10 min for sauce for her chicken that sat and got cold. My grilled chicken salad came back again, made incorrectly. Wow. Eventually, the mgr came by but by then, it was late in the game. As good tippers, the waiter was taken care of but as far as our experience, I will no longer recommend this restaurant to friends and family for quite some time.

We enjoyed our visit to Cheddar's Scratch in Daytona. We were seated quickly, enjoyed our lunches, and received good service. 4 stars because the table wasn't cleared when we were finished eating.

Slow service. 2 oz sized chicken fried steak with mostly breading, some over an inch thick. It looked huge on the plate. Had so much breading it could have opened a bakery. This is a ploy. It was raw dough inside. Disappointed. Didn't bring a salad we ordered.cold Texas toast. Brought us the wrong ticket. Pretty much a failed attempt. Can I give zero stars?

We will definitely be back soon! Food was good and drinks were on point! The bartender was great being it was her first day bartending and the manager was awesome 👏🏾 you guys get 5 stars from us !

The food was good took some time to come out tho... cheese and broccoli casserole was cold. Over all it was a great place to have a hardy meal. Kid friendly !

A short wait with tons of empty tables. Short staffed I imagine. Our waitress was very friendly, understanding, attentive, and helpful. Food was delicious! Coconut Shrimp was better than Red Lobster. The Queso was amazing and the free bread was good as well. Food came out warm and in a decent amount of time.

Was delicious and a wonderful staff everyone was friendly and ask if we needed anything. Wasn't over prices at all very nice experience. We also were delived to our table warm rolls with melted butter before food came they were amazing.

I went maybe 3 weeks ago, right before the races and everything was absolutely great. Food was delicious and my server was very kind. I believe his name was Cameron. We also were sat very fast and had the host hold the door for us on the way in and out, she said her name was ruby. The manger also came over and checked on us, heather was very nice and made sure we had everything we need. Overall great place would definitely come in again!!!

The food was good and my server was friendly however she messed up my order and forgot a few items. That's the only reason I didn't rate them 5 stars. The drinks were good .... had a little kick but not too much. Overall I enjoyed my dinner

Stopped in for a drink and appetizer. Walked to the bar and sat at a high top because there was no open bar spot. Was told to see host and wait even though all tables in the bar area were empty 🤨. That’s fine I waited 10 minutes just to be seated at the table I was at. I had a wonderful waitress who was very polite, new and learning. My appetizer was great and beer refreshing.

Is a great American scratch kitchen. Got the country fried steak and it was huge, delicious, and I will order that again. The wait staff was fantastic. Very attentive and made suggestions on the menu. Atmosphere was what you expect from this type of establishment.

This will be a long review but worth reading!! Ate lunch yesterday at Cheddars and ate the delicious pasta shrimp Alfredo and Salmon. All of which were very good, before I thought to take pictures. We were in town to be with a patient in the cancer hospital. Knowing the patient loves the Cheddar soup we wanted to get it for him but he can only eat it if puréed. We asked if the kitchen could do that and they gladly puréed the soup for us. How thoughtful! We returned to the hospital and the patient so enjoyed the soup. But at that I realized I had lost my phone. I did an “find my iPhone search” and it showed my phone at Cheddars. I called and they could not find it. But I returned to Cheddars anyway and spoke to the lead waitress (Terry Lynn??)She was so kind and said if it was in the trash, all trash had already been put in their compactor. Then the Manager came and was putting gloves on. My phone was in a case that help my credit card. Thinking someone might have taken the card and thrown the phone away- He said he was going to check the trash anyway. He looked in the trash and but found nothing. I was just blown away by all the kindness and concern the staff had on my behalf. To my embarrassment- I later found my phone in my car. Where do you ever get this kind of customer service?? Our waiter was “Yarsha” from Iran. Such a nice guy! The waitress and manager went beyond what was expected! Thank you all for showing your customer’s that there are still businesses that put customers above corporate.

Good food always satisfied sat at the bar the bartender was moving very slow but management made it right. I will be back. Will recommend to others.

The food was delicious! They have a new whole Herb Roasted Chicken with 2 sides for $14.99 (limited time offer) was very good. Great flavor and very tender. The broccoli and rice casserole is always good. Spinach dip was good. They put sour cream on top...I like it better without. Honey butter croissants were complimentary, but you can order more from the menu..and you will lol!

No complaints really. We happen 2 go during the Daytona 500 but even though it was a little crowded we actually had no wait with the seating for 5. The croissants are very tasteful melts in your melt. I didn't care for the lemon pepper chicken (a lil dry). The country fried steak was good and it was a descent size I was shock.

Hannah was extremely nice , patient and welcoming and is the right bar person any one would love to have at any event. She took her time to see if everything was ok and if we needed anything she was right on point. She even made my wife a Hannah’s Paradise Special which was awesome. Highly recommended. Need more good people like her . Thank you Hannah !!!!!

Food was delicious service was quick considering how busy they were. Very satisfied with portion size and overall quality exceeded our expectations. Highly recommend this restaurant.

Zurich made our night incredible! The food was good but Zurich really stole the show. We were tired and hungry. The restaurant was about to close in 2 hours. Zurich was so attentive to my myself and family! His energy made our mood shift immediately from grumpy to smiles and laughing… putting everyone in an awesome mood. Fantastic way to end the night! Great food. We both ordered double Country Fried Chicken. We didn't know the pieces of chicken were going to be so huge. Check out the piece of chicken in to go container to see size. He got it with the gravy, mine without. The red beans and rice were great. The fries were dry as if they'd come out of a microwave. He got the fully loaded baked potato with bacon. Personally, I felt I needed better glasses to find the bacon but he said it was great. Our server pretty much ruined what would have been a great experience. Guess can't win every time.

We enjoy eating here however, it was a bit of a wait to get our food. The sirloin steak was very delicious with baked potato and broccoli casserole was excellent. My husband got the classic burger, which was good but left him a bit hungry. Alexis was our bartender and serve her as we sat at the bar this time and was very attentive to our needs. I have to say the best part of cheddars is their chocolate cake!

Loved the oh so soft croissants that melt in your mouth. Never heard of this restaurant until I came to FL. I Need to visit again to get the overall experience. I was with family & friends who were all on different diets when I 1st went, so they kept complainingthatthefoodwas salty, it was late & I was not analyzing the environment, food & every thing else the way I normally do. But our waitress was fantastic and on top of every thing.

Hannah was so fun even though it was Daytona 500 weekend. She was upbeat even cracked many jokes and never missed a beat. She was bartender and serving and my drink was never empty! Food was GREAT! Had to try the Painkiller!

On the way home to Jacksonville, FL decided to stop by for a bite to eat. They seemed a little short staff because we didn’t see our waiter much but he still took care of us 🙂 I asked for a medium well steak and got well done but the food was still delicious!!! I love Cheddar’s so they always get 5 stars from me 😁✌🏾
