The surrounding businesses may make you question the high end nature of this place, but once you are through the door you realize you’re in for a treat. The decor is modern and eye appealing. We had called ahead and our table was already prepped for our arrival. Staff quickly attended to us and were both friendly and helpful. The menu has plenty to offer and we all made decisions quickly. They brought out complimentary soup and a holiday roll for us immediately, which was a pleasant surprise. Our food quickly followed and we were all wowed by the presentation. Elaborate decorated sushi plates. Lastly, the most important part, everything tasted fantastic. Very impressed and excited to return again.

I love hibachi & although this restaurant didn’t have the grills it was still worth 5 stars. The food was very fresh & came out quick. A bit pricey I must say for the portion size of The hibachi but if ever visiting again I’d come dine in here.

Sushi was excellent quality! Mango roll very good, except missing eel on top. Soup and green tea both weak!

The food was absolutely delicious and the staff was genuinely friendly. The food came out hot and fresh. The pad Thai had generous portions to share or to take half home, but more importantly, each bite invited the next. It was so good. The red curry was full of flavor. The hibachi noodles satisfied the picky eater of our group. The staff was friendly and patient and answered all our questions. The waitress was observant and made great recommendations as it was our first time there. We left totally satisfied and delighted with deciding to eat at Fancy Q.

Great Japanese restaurant with sushi, hibachi and other options. Not the greatest part of town - homeless beggars in the parking lot - and not the nicest building from the outside, but inside it’s actually pretty nice. The staff are friendly and accommodating, even the last hour before close (rare these days). Lots of variety on the menu, but not an overwhelming amount. We had pork ramen, shrimp and filet hibachi dinner and an avocado ball appetizer. Everything was delicious and it came out fast.

A-ma-zing! Warm hospitality and delicious delights await hungry travelers. Highly recommend the Vegas Rose to start with and having the Udon Noodles with shrimp. We look forward to coming back very soon!

So good! Stopped in for some take out and the first thing I noticed was how kind and accommodating the staff were. I would go back simply by how nice both employees were. The sushi was AMAZING. So fresh and it had the perfect ratios of everything. Don’t miss this place. So unsuspecting. I got shrimp fried rice 7/10, Philadelphia roll 10/10, and the crunchy roll 10/10.

The best sit-down date night sushi place within 30 miles, maybe more. Sushi is always super fresh. Service is outstanding. Food is a 10 out of 10, and all in a relaxing and romantic sit-down environment. We come from a few towns over and this is our go to date night spot. Love it.

My fiance and I stopped by here for a quick bite while traveling. The quality of the fish and food was surprisingly good given its location. The service was very friendly, patient, and quick once we placed our order. They even had my favorite beer in stock. Genuily couldn't have had a more pleasant surprise after a long day of driving.

Gorgeous ambience, amazing service, and a plethora of delicious options for any and all sushi lovers who are looking for a great time - thankfully I'm only a couple of hours away; can't wait to return again during my next Daytona trip.

I've been here a few times and it's been wonderful each time, ESPECIALLY this last time! I ordered the gyoza and was given complimentary soup while it was being prepared, which was very quickly! The gyoza were large, perfectly cooked, tender, and flavorful. I ordered the Osaka Fancy Sushi Roll and was given a Soft Shell Crab appetizer even though I hadn't finished my gyoza or soup! It was lightly battered and had HUGE pieces of crab in it and a perfect sauce to compliment it: I ate it all! The sushi was delivered quickly and although I was getting full already, I had to try it: it was attractive and looked deeelish! It was soooo good. perfect temperature, precisely rolled, and so fresh that it melted in my mouth! I ate all my delicious food but a few pieces of sushi and had to take it togo so I could enjoy later! The service/staff was friendly, attentive, timely. The restaurant is very clean, soothing contemporary decor, and quiet. It is the best dining experience in all of Central Florida! I have been to many restaurants these past few years and they've all gone downhill and disappoint BUT NOT "Fancy Q Japanese and Thai Restaurant" in Daytona Beach! Love this place! Thank you to all of the staff, you have my allegiance! *sorry the photos aren't the greatest mainly because I was more interested in scarfing down the delicious food!

Service was ok. Not busy but took some time to get served. Food was served piping hot and was just ok. I got the Chicken Pad Tia (forgot to take pic). My wife enjoyed her sushi 🤮…. Our companion got Shrimp Pad Tia spicy. She said it was not that spicy. Over all it was good.

We had three-rolls bento dinner and shrimp fried rice. .We also had tempura red beans ice cream for dessert. All the meals were good and service was great,

We visited Fancy Q for the first time on New Years Day after enjoying the Magic of Lights. The staff is super friendly and the sushi is fresh and tasty. After ordering and beginning to eat our crab Rangoon appetizer, we were gifted a special 4 piece holiday sushi roll. We found this to be very thoughtful and delicious, too. Our dinner rolls were equally yummy. We will most definitely visit again next time we are in town.

Pretty good Asian food my daughter and I stopped in after the Daytona 500 have the time of our lives it’s all extremely fresh ginger was marvelous. We have the steak and scallops and California roll… absolutely delicious would come back highly recommend

Very nice place, everyone is super kind and you *always* get a courtesy roll. Prices are good, portions are big enough to share between friends. Not expensive at all if you know what to order. Absolutely recommend sashimi. 👌

The food was amazing and we had prompt and fast service! We had two hibachi meals and a rainbow roll. The free appetizer was really good also! It was a fried crab and cream cheese roll. We left very full and happy. Thank you!

Stopped on with some co-workers for dinner. The outside doesn't say much but once you go in it feels cozy and inviting. I found the prices to be more than fair and my co-workers were more than pleased with their bento boxes. I ordered the beef pad thai and was advised that it was a sweet and sour style. I'm usually a traditional pad thai kinda guy, but I decided to try it. First of all, the portion was more than plenty. I ordered medium spice and it was exactly that. As far as the flavor goes, I will say that I was more than pleased. I will definitely go back and try something else from their menu!

I’m not a culinary expert by any means but I’ve eaten Sushi and Oriental food at some of the best restaurants in America. Came to Daytona to visit my son in collage, took him out to dinner. This is a very good restaurant in my opinion. The food was perfectly prepared and delicious.The service was very good and I was Pleasantly surprised. I highly recommend a try.

Wow! I went to this place with a friend that has never had sushi before and let me tell youuuuu - this is some of the most AMAZING sushi ive ever had! Even my friend who has never had sushi before was surprised that he'd like it so much, so i say go get the sushi from here!!! You will not be disappointed at all 💙

Amazing, attentive staff! Alwyas checking on us if we need anything Food is a cheap for lunch especially the combination hibachi! The appetizers are good, average.... Bathroom is clean and modern! Pork ramen is delicious not so salty, I gave it 4 stars cause I think they don't give u a lot for the price of their appetizers & they could've added some fried garlic in my ramen!! I would come bck for this good experience from the staff!! Thank u guys!!

Food was amazing! All three of us were perfectly satisfied with taste and portions. Upscale presentation, taste, menu, atmosphere….but not prices! Even the bathrooms were great. Highly recommend! You won’t be disappointed 😋
