This hotel was clean. We had requested a beach front. We were on the 1st floor with the parking lot as our view. We asked to change rooms. The front desk person changed us to the 3rd floor with partial beach front. The breakfast is not included. In fact, the breakfast is expensive with not much to choose from. Go to the IHOP down the street to pay less and get a much better breakfast. I would not choose this hotel again. By the way, we had made our reservation months ago. Should be no excuse not getting a beach front.

Perfect! Great location, we could hear the music from the bandstand. Excellent service, everyone was so friendly and accommodating. Nice rooms, we had one with a bedroom and full kitchen. Awesome pool with a slide for the kids and a good sitting area. Thanks to everyone for doing such a great job. We will stay here again.

Very disappointed in the service from management at this hotel and with the cleanliness of the room. As far as customer service, after traveling for 12 hours, I finally fell asleep at 10:30PM at night, only to be woken up an hour later by an annoying woman yelling at me that my debit card was declined. Barely awake, I checked my bank app to see more than enough funds to cover the cost of my reservation so I told the woman to run it again. Amazingly.....the card went through without issue so it appears it was human error on their end and there was NO NEED to wake me up in the middle of the night. With respect to the cleanliness, I worked at the Courtyard Marriot as a housekeeper for several years where cleanliness was a number 1 priority. We were given 100 points per room and lost points for each violation, which included 1 point for each hair found in the room. I found at least 10-15 hairs between the tub, shower and sink in my room alone and didn't even check the connecting room I shared with my friend. I also found leftover coffee still inside the coffee pot...I wonder how long that was there. In addition, the sliding glass door leading to the balcony would not even close. It closed at the bottom and got wider at the top to the point where it was open by at least an inch at the top and we could not even close the door enough to engage the lock on the door. I first spoke to Mariana who was kind and apologetic for everything I had endured in my short 12 hours on the property and offered to do anything to correct the issue. Once I responded to her message asking for a one night refund of my three night stay, I received word back from Lori that she would give me my resort fees back ($75). This was not any loss to the hotel for their fault with these matters and I explained that their suggested offer was not sufficient. I tried to negotiate a lesser amount but Lori did not even care what I had to say and again offered me nothing more than the resort fee reimbursement. She kept telling me she would check and see if she could get a higher amount refunded to me but then once I checked out, she did nothing and just ignored me altogether. She didn't even bother contacting me again. I had to contact the resort again, only to speak with Mariana who told me that Lori was not available and that she had already reimbursed my resort fees which I would receive in 7-10 days. She didn't even have the courtesy to talk to me herself! She is the worst customer service person I have ever dealt with and supposedly, she is also the Supervisor, a position she should never have received because she does not know how to interact with her customers. I am extremely dissatisfied with Lori and I expect more from the housekeeping staff in an establishment like this. The rooms need to be inspected better by the housekeeping supervisor before new guests are permitted entry to ensure the rooms are clean.

This place was nice and accommodating. While under heavy construction, staff did everything possible to ensure a comfortable stay. The room was very clean and the facilities were modern and convenient .

The resort is really nice and it looks like it's being updated currently. The rooms can use a little updating but the hotel itself is nice and in a great location. My family had a great time staying there for a long weekend. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Great place to take a family!!

I Stayed in room 602 from Oct 01 to Oct 03 - My stay at the hotel was completely unplanned and unexpected. I am a local from Daytona Beach and due to the storm the area where I live was affected, we had flooding and we had no electricity. It was very hard to find an available hotel, but I finally found a room at Daytona Beach Regency. The room was MUCH MORE than I expected, the kitchen had everything I needed, I didn't have to bring anything. The whole room was perfectly CLEAN, it smelled very good, everything was beautiful. The housekeeping that cleaned my room before I checked in did a amazing job, everything looked so beautiful and clean. (I dont know how they did it after a bad storm) I didn't need housekeeping service but I did have trash change and towel replacement, the houseman MICHAEL was very kind and helpful. Another girl on Saturday night helped me giving me an extra blanket, I wish I could remember her name. Lori in the Front Desk Area was very kind as well. All the Front Desk staff was very special, they even helped me cancel another additional stay that I had but the electricity came back in my home so I no longer needed it. Unfortunately, due to the storm, I couldn't enjoy the barbecue and pool area, but I hope to return soon and enjoy the full experience!

I stayed at the Daytona Regency about a month ago with my wife and son. I cannot say enough great things about our stay. The pool, view from our room and the accommodating and helpful staff were wonderful. We especially want to recognize the General Manager Mr. John Betros. Every time that we stay at the Regency he has gone above and beyond to assist us and provide stellar service. Thanks again John! We’ll be back for spring break!!

We stopped by to check the place out. The bottom floor had a lot of water damage from Ian. They were making great progress towards the repairs. Other than the rooms facing the ocean and some first floor activities, they are open for business. Very nice staff.

The facility is under renovation. Our room had not been renovated yet, but it was fine, albeit dated. Everything worked in the room and it was a nice space for a 1 bedroom. Great location right on the beach and walking distance for lots activities. I like the covered parking.

Had an absolute horrible experience, I will never stay at this hotel again. between The Ac in our room dying and having to use box fans to having the scenery of a dumpster after requesting an ocean view and being told by a gentleman at the front desk it was available on our 2nd night stay which was straight up a lie. . We had asked numbers of times to speak with a manager and she finally decided to speak with us at the time of departing the hotel. Claimed she would email us and make it right and its been a month and still have heard nothing from her. I could probably go on , I would not recommend this place to anyone.

Absolutely the best f*cking experience of my life! This place is amazing. Super friendly staff and very easy floor plan not too complicated. I will say the elevators are a little on the slow slide, but they are currently undergoing reconstruction to update it since it was purchased by Hilton. But overall, I definitely recommend staying here! It's very central with all the local shops and everything. Has access to beach and board walk just make sure you have your card key to get back on to the property.

One elevator was down the entire week I was down there and made some pretty awful delays. The facilities are fine. The beachfront access is very convenient. Once all of their construction is finished this would be a great place to stay again

Perfect hotel! We spent 5 nights here. Had a lovely and very spacious one bedroom unit facing the ocean. It was nicely renovated and on the 9th floor. From the minute we walked through the hotel doors we felt very welcomed. Lori and Marianne greeted us at the desk and were very helpful and pleasant the entire trip. My husband ended up chatting to John the GM and he was lovely too. Pool was nice and the slide was really fun. You can borrow beach stuff and games, Bbq utensils and I’m not sure what else right from reception. The sun deck has 3 huge bbq for guests to use. Great little hotel with surface and underground parking. Laundry on every level and vending machines available as well. Good location to walk to the tourist shops and bars/restaurants and very close to the pier. Overall, I would recommend this hotel. The staff (minus Gabe on the 11th floor because he was rude) were all friendly and personable. The location is great and the amenities were fantastic.

We just had an efficiency room which was actually great for the 2 of us until it was time for bed. The bed was rock hard with a lot of significant lumps making it almost impossible to sleep. I reported it the next morning and by the afternoon they replaced the mattress and it was much better.

One of my favorite ❀️ quick weekend getaways! Lots to do over there besides the beautiful beaches and views! Walk out the back into the sand of the beach. Very picturesque. Family friendly. Grilling available, bar and food onsite. Service animal friendly. Water park in walking distance! Parking is the only issue sometimes! Other than that it’s a favorite! Been quite a few times!

Good experience. Rooms are a little outdated but hotel is in great location. Directly on the beach, Pool and slide are awesome. And the customer service is top tier. Especially the supervisor, Leah. Leah, you are amazing. --Minivan

We loved our stay here but housekeeping is rude and bangs on the door before check out. We have a late check out of 11 and housekeeping was banging on the door like the police at 9:35!!! When we told him that we had a late check out he yelled something at us and walked away. Then we received a call from the front desk reminding us that check out was at 10:00. The woman said that no one noted it. So that tells me the front desk isn't very organized. If it wasn't for this I would of given 5 stars.

Room was clean kitchen was clean bathroom was clean! The floors were clean no slimy oily feeling on your bare feet. The scenery is nice right around there too! The tiki bar was fun pretty much where i hung out the entire time πŸ˜‚ ill enjoy going back!

Very happy with our 5 night stay. We had a 2 bedroom lockoff. Very spacious and clean. Decor and furniture a little dated but will be updated with rebranding. Kitchens were well equipped. The building was being painted but did not cause any inconvenience. Only major complaint was we were told at booking we would get 2 parking passes as we had 2 units and a few days before we were informed we would only get one. Location is great and within walking distance of many stores and restaurants. We would definitely stay here again!

I stayed here this past weekend and had a great experience. The room was clean and stocked with supplies in the bathroom and kitchen area. The front desk staff at checkout was friendly and made sure to take care of everyone, even though there was a rush of people trying to check out all at once. The pool and outside bar area were nice and not over-crowded. I have stayed at a few other hotels in the area and this is for sure one of the better ones. The only issue we had was upon check in, we were told the checkout time was 10am even though their website says 11am. There was no exception to this because they had an event the following day which they had to prepare for. However, they were willing to give us a day pass to still hang out in the pool area. The parking is small and the garage is very tight. But, that is typical for the area. Overall I would recommend staying here.

Even after the storm, this place was nice and peaceful. They were doing construction, but we didn't hear it, and it didn't interfere with any of our plans. Great location near everything, food, shops & retail.

The elevators on the north side of the building are incredibly slow, I ended up having to walk 15 flights of stairs multiple times because we were waiting for half an hour. This isn't a problem for me because I am healthy but I can imagine how hard that would be for a handicapped person. Parking was also bad. Parking garage was not well regulated, people were parking without their passes and there were people parking against the walls in towaway zones making it hard to leave. Everything else was fun though.

Amazing all around and I have nothing but good things to say about this place.. They made sure we had everything we needed for our stay and their coffee is sooo good! Beds are Super soft. Even the pull out couch was a memory foam mattress and my 10 year old could not have been happier... They text you during your stay to see if you need anything replenished. The staff and the cleaning lady Pattie was awesome! Can't wait to come back next year! ❀️❀️

The place is right on the beach, but the furniture and decor need to be updated. It feels like we were stuck in 1992. The beds were comfortable, and we enjoyed Tyler the bartender and Earl the bellhop. They both had excellent customer service.

We had an amazing stay. The room was perfect, the staff was was awesome. We've traveled alot and this is the first hotel that I got texts daily asking how everything was going and if we needed anything. We asked for fresh towels it took 5 minutes and they we're knocking. Definitely going back again.

Absolutely loved our condo. Stocked well with pots and pans, dishes and glasses. Loved my balconies. Bathroom clean and the whole unit looks like fresh paint. All employees very nice and hospitable. Would highly recommend

We loved our stay. The room was very large and comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked to make simple meals. Our kids loved the water slide and the beach was right out the back. The staff really went out of their way to make sure we were taken care of everyday.
