Steve’s dinner always has good breakfast. With me and all my fatness you know I have to get French Toast or Pancakes or whatever else that’s not good for you. I just wish they had expresso or something to kick my body into super drive. Nice place and pretty big spot in Daytona.

This is a very popular place and for good reason. Great food and a fair price. I had biscuits and gravy with scrambled eggs but you should have the body builder special

We have been coming her for 5 years, mostly for breakfast, but occasionally for supper, especially the homemade bread, and creamy chicken noodle soup 😋. The service is always fast and friendly. Clair waited on us today and she is so thorough and friendly. The entire staff has always been great and the home made bakery stuff is yummy!! Keep up the job !!

We ordered for take out and went to get it 20 minutes after ordering. The food was already ready, we live less than 5 minutes away. When we arrived home, we unpacked the food, and it was luke warm. I ordered the meatloaf melt, the cheese wasn’t anywhere near melted and the bread was not toasted. The meat was room temperature. For $80 it was the worst meal ever.

Pancakes so fluffy that you may as well be eating a chocolate chip cloud plucked from heaven! Steve's Famous Diner deserves a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

Had a subpar experience years and swore off the place. Today I went back to give it another shot and it was incredible. The real test of a breakfast joint is the flavor of their grits — they’re easy to screw up. Steve’s is a new favorite of mine.

Recently my sisters and I were there for lunch. The food was delicious. It was a Sunday so we enjoyed a cup of the lemon chicken soup (and ordered some to go). Their homemade soups are quite tasty and the fresh crusty bread😊. Our server was Melissa, excellent and great personality. Made us feel like we were home. Restaurant is very clean and we found the staff to be very friendly and personable.. I was reluctant to try this place a few weeks ago because the one in Oak Hill is less than par, the quality of service and food just are no comparison to this Nova Rd Daytona location. It has become a favorite.. Thank you Melissa for your great service!!!😊😊

This is a great place to eat for breakfast lunch and dinner. Our waitress today was Clare and she was incredibly kind and sweet. The food is excellent and the prices are very reasonable. You even get a complimentary soup with lunch and dinner.

Ordered Salsbury Steak with mashed potatoes and asked that the potatoes be be served very hot with gravy. They were served not quite as hot as I had had hoped for. That being said...the were pretty warm. When I go out for dinner I expect that it will be served hot. They were just about there. We always enjoy Steve's ďiner. They are one of the most consistent places we eat. We love going there.

It is unbelievable that we waited so long to try this diner. We will certainly be back. From the great food to the even better service from our server Claire. She made you feel right at home with her awesome hospitality. Food was incredible and on point. Also, the coffee was unbeatable from some other places we have been recently. When we expressed our gratitude and let her know it was our first time there, she gifted us with a loaf of their wonderful freshly baked bread to go. Can’t wait to try lunch and dinner as well. Great find, even better value.

Whenever I travel south I always get biscuits and gravy. I couldn't get over how light and fluffy they were. The sausage gravy was on point. My sister in law had to take half her breakfast, pecan waffles, home with her. There was so much food. Our waitress, Marney H, was also on point. She had coffee in her hands every time she walked by, ready to freshen your cup. Great food.

We came in on Tuesday November 21st for breakfast. Our server, Clare provided exceptional service. She was very attentive to our needs and offered other services. The pecan waffle was tasty and cooked to perfection. I've never had a disappointing meal here. Everything is made fresh! James Yorke

I moved to the area over 20 years ago, and I must say, everything I have ever ordered is absolutely delicious. I am from NY and there food is up there with the best! The atmosphere and employees are wonderful! I always ensure that I bring my friends and family when they visit. They all love it! Our waitress today, Claire Bear was absolutely the best! Very friendly and attentive. We just loved her!!! Thank you for being a great restaurant to enjoy!!!

Steve's has everything I want from a diner and then some. The free bread they bring you before you even order is enough alone to get me through the door As far as today is concerned, all I can say is I'm grateful I forgot to prepare for Thanksgiving. The meal I had was many times better and easier (and lets be honest probably cheaper) for me than anything I would have prepared myself. Big shout out to Clare B for putting up with my continually increasing order 🤣 and to the gentleman who I believe was either the owner or the manager going around making sure everyone was having a good time and was satisfied with their meals.

This is our favorite place. My wife and I are known as riff and raff. I recommend this diner to anyone looking for a great place to eat and have fun and feel like family. The photo below is a spectacular meal that is not a current menu item but it is named after me. THE DOUG BUSTER. If you would like to try this meal just ask Megan or Melissa or Karen or Larissa. You may not be able to eat it all.

Over all, our experience was pleasant. It was our first time dining there. Alissa was our hostess who was quite charming but a tad bit clumsy 😅 It seemed as though our table was the stop and drop (in the literal sense.) As she arrived to usher our order, she dropped all of her checks on the table and the floor, then when she returned to clear the table, she dropped the trash and creamer on me and the floor. No big deal. No hurt No harm, I actually thought it was comical. As for the food, the warm sourdough bread was really good! I had to stop eating it so I could save room for my order. I'm very particular about my coffee, but this coffee was pretty good for what I expected from restaurant coffee. For our meal, we order a short stack of pancakes, biscuits and gravy with eggs over easy. We also had the spinach omelet with home fries. The biscuits and gravy order was great and the only disappointment was he was hoping for more sausage in the gravy, other than that he scored the meal very high. As for my omelet, the egg was a little overcooked which made it too chewy but the spinach was undercooked so the blend of the two together was not what I expected to bite into. Now, it was not terribly bad but just not to my liking. As for the home fries, they taste more like steamed potatoes. Again. No hurt no harm, just not to my liking. Alissa apologized several times for the order which was very nice of her, but just like with her butterfingers, the chef may have just slipped up on the order. Things happen!! Well, because we are foodies and travel to different places to eat, I can say that I will be returning to give it another shot. I'm curious about the meatloaf!! 😋

I was looking up breakfast places in Daytona and decided to try Steve’s famous diner. I love it the food was everything! Big portions! And the waitress “ MARNEY” made our experience enjoyable! This place was a total vibe! We will definitely be back for breakfast….

Stopped in quick with my 3 young children. Never been before. The staff was very friendly and informative. Tried something new and interesting. The Greek Lasagna. Had a unique and pleasant flavor. Will eat there again!!

Food was not bad, but not worth 30 bucks to get a BLT(no fries) and a waffle for my daughter. I guess we’re paying for the privacy. Nice and spacious booths and not a lot of people. Perfect if ya kids don’t respect boundaries like mine.

This is my husband and my favorite lunch date spot! Everything here is fantastic. Home style food, big portions, and always a friendly atmosphere. The bread is baked fresh daily and is amazing. I've had breakfast, lunch, and dinner foods from here and have never had a complaint! This is the place that introduced my hubby and I to brown gravy on country fried steak, it's our new favorite thing!

So we are in Daytona from Tampa for business for the weekend. We wanted breakfast so we found Steve's about 4 miles away. We like to eat at hometown places for breakfast. When we ordered, our awesome waitress Melissa, was very friendly and informative. So we ordered and as we were waiting Melissa brought us a homemade loaf of bread, still warm, saying it was a gift for being first time customers. How awesome is that? It was still warm! I can't recommend this place enough. The give you generous portions and all it was yummy. Their link sausage is so tasty as well as the pancakes! So look no further, get your keys and get over there! Their menu also had some yummy lunch n dinner choices!!

Went to Steve's on A1A in Daytona Beach for an early dinner once and it was great. Decided to stop in the Nova Road location for breakfast. I asked if this place was owned by the same people as the other and they said the owners are related, but each owns their own diner. So, I thought, since I was hungry, I would give this one a try. Being from the Phila, PA area and seeing scrapple on the menu I needed to have some to remind me of home. I ordered 2 scrambled eggs, a side of scrapple and a cup of coffee. The eggs and coffee I will give 5-stars. They were great. The scrapple left a lot to be desired. (see pics). If you know anything about scrapple, this is not what the finished cooked item should look like. It is supposed to be cut about 1/4" from a slab of it. Then it is either deep fried or pan fried or even on the flat-top griddle in a restaurant. The finished product should be brown and crispy on the outside and soft and mushy on the inside, but hot all the way through. Mine looked like it was smashed flat like hash browns, but only cooked on 1 side. It actually looked as if the cooked it and then sliced the very top off of one side and put it on a plate. If I ever have the opportunity to go back to this place, I think I will stick to coffee and toast, with maybe an egg or 2. Thanks anyway, folks.

One of the best breakfasts I’ve ever had! The pumpkin French toast that our waitress recommended was phenomenal. We were just passing through and what made it even better was our waitress. Her name was Maryann, and I kid you not, it’s as if she knew us our whole lives, she was so friendly and helpful it felt like we had breakfast with an old friend! If you ever get the chance to grab a bite from here do yourself a favor and make sure she’s your waitress!!!

What a joyful dining experience you will have here as you select your favorite meal that you would like to eat.good size portions as well as taste is what you expect.clean establishment and a good variety of food.different foods to satisfy different taste.its not like the larger establishment that have pre-made foods or that are brought in by truck but fresh homemade foods with real honest to goodness taste.the staff is professional and will tend to your every needs and if you are not happy with the quality of your food, they will be there to make sure that you are comfortable and completely satisfied with your meal.l don't think that you will be unhappy.l promise you that. SMILE...here is a establishment that is real and genuine instead of robot driven restaurants like the others. Happy Hunting and enjoying your dining experience.

Good food, fast service, reasonable prices, what more can you ask for. Our fantastic waitress, CAROL H, took very good care of us. Very attenuative to our needs. During the course of our time there she must have come to the table a dozen times to make sure we had everything. Try to get that anywhere else today. All with a smile too. By the way did I say you start your meal with a cup of soup which comes with every meal. We will be back.

If you love the cozy diner experience, you'll love this place. The tables and booths are comfortable and the food is great 👍🏻. The bread basket is some of the softest bread too.

If your in Daytona this diner is a Hallmark of American values and service. My family dined in and had the best experience, our food was delicious and fresh bread. We took a few different slices of pie to go. Thank you Steve’s Famous diner.

Great prices and lots of food! All food is homemade and very tasty. Even though it doesn't say it on the menu, you get a free loaf of bread with butter for the table and free soup with most meals. We ended up leaving with food on our plates because there was so much. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone.
