There is a female cook there she is absolutely the most genuine caring women I have ever met!! She is sweet loving funny great cook and always makes the residents feel loved!! Keep up the good work young lady

I visited Harbor Oaks Elderly Care Home in order to find a place for my mother. From the second I stepped through the door, I was greeted immediately by the actual owners of the facility. They were able to answer any question I had, and believe me, I had a lot of questions. They also gave me a tour of the facility. It was really homey and comforting. The rooms were nicely furnished and beautiful and all the people that lived there looked really happy and relaxed, just what my mother needs. Also while I was there, I met the staff. They were very nice and compassionate with all the people. I know my mother will be taken care of very nicely here. I highly recommend their facility!

My mother has been a resident at Harbor Oaks since 2016. Harbor Oaks has always provided her with excellent care and treated her like family. When the new owners took over, I was afraid quality might decline, but it actually improved. Margaret, Mike, and Lisa have huge hearts and boundless patience and run the facility like a true home rather than an institution. What blessings these kind and generous souls have been to our family - so attentive, proactive, and dedicated to giving their residents the best quality of life possible. If you can get you parents into Harbor Oaks, jump on the opportunity. You will be able to rest easy knowing these guardian angels are watching over your loved ones ensuring their golden years are truly golden.

My mom has been at Harbor Oaks for 6+ years and never had a bad experience. Lenny and Ida are very compassionate about all their residents and treat them with high respect. I have seen a great change in my mom since she's been there. She is more active and talks to everyone. Their staff does a great job with everyone and I am so grateful. If you are considering any assisted living, you should really visit Harbor Oaks.

Harbor Oaks is truly an amazing place to be employed. Lenny and Miss Ida are the owners and they make sure to great us all everyday with a smile and words of encouragement. They are proud of every single one of us to take care of the resendents with kindness and capassion. I see very little visits from their families but the ones who do come can not thank us all enough. We are their family. To me these resudents have become an extension of my life. I have a brother who is disabled and Lenny and Ida ask about him all the time. During IRMA they need my extra assistents. They offered to have him come stay with them. He became instant family. Thank you Lenny and Ida for giving me the opportunity to make you proud. A week after Hurricane Irma devastated our state of Florida, it's made me reflect on all the good things that made up this week. We were fleeing the storm from Tampa and headed to friends in Daytona, we were lucky to spend the night at Harbor Oaks Elderly Care Home. We saw first hand the preparations they had made for this storm; generators, portable air conditioners, plenty of food and water, (even for the unexpected evacuees!). It's nice to know there are care facilities out there that take time to prepare and have plans to take care of their residents in times of emergency. Thanks Ancona Family for all you do!

I am a Certified Nursing Assistant and I care for the elderly daily. Unfortunately my 91 year old mother has been living in this facility. I most definitely do NOT recommend this place for anyone. The owners and staff will lie to the family about everything. They have ignored the fact that my mother has been in pain and has an infection which requires antibiotics. She is now in the hospital healing. I wonder if the people who gave positive ratings were paid to do so or they just don't know the true situation. Also, unlike most facilities, this place only offers one hot meal at meal times. There are no alternate choices other than PB&J. I agree with Mike Casey, the owners & staff will not do anything when you complain about any concerns you have.

My husband and I have visited the facility in search of a place for my mom. I have to say Harbor Oaks has been the most friendly, clean, and most helpful place we have visited. The owners were so nice and really knowledgeable about what my mother really needed. And let me say, the food is delicious! I wish I were coming here to live! I highly highly recommend this beautiful place!

Best hearing care around. I’ve been a hearing aid user since I was 3 (over 30 years). I’ve seen all there is to see, from the large chain locations to the small one person run locations. This place has found the sweet spot right in the middle. Best of all, the staff. After all, wherever you go you want to know that you’ll be well-cared for with honesty and integrity. Extremely friendly and professional staff, starting from the front registration desk and throughout the entire testing process. Great customer service! For my patient(s), this has been a VERY thorough, positive and excellent experience during a very challenging time in their lives with hearing and balance difficulties. Went today for my first visit amazing staff lovely doctor. Explain to me my option and explain about the hearing aids. They say the hearing aids was my option and as long as I feel comfortable with it then I should give it a try. They also explain what the normal hearing was and what was mines. And what was the best option of hearing aids and prices. They ask you if you got someone to pay for it. I got one lady but in my case mite look into vocational rehabilitation if my first option don’t plan right. They tell you if your insurance cover it or not. But hands down would recommend. The place is amazing thru know what they doing friendly staff and amazing doctor

Harbor Oaks Golden Years is a wonderful facility. The home like atmosphere made the transition for my mom to become a live-in resident much less intimidating than the clinical facilities we visited. Margaret, Mike, Lisa, and all the staff are so kind and caring. My mom always told me how well they treated her and made her feel special. When she became ill and needed hospice care, Margaret and Mike guided us through the process and made sure her care was up to their standards. I am so grateful for their knowledge, support and compassion for my family. If I had to do to again, I would l choose Harbor Oaks Golden Years every time.

My experience here was amazing. Staff member was very informative throughout the entire process. He made me feel that I was not just a patient but that receiving the ability to improve my hearing was as important to him as it was to me. I was very pleased with my experience at Atlantic Hearing. Every staff member was super courteous, knowledgeable, and customer oriented. Dr.K was the most impressive of all. Her knowledge, skills, and ability to explain all aspects of my exam is commendable. I have had at a minimum of six hearing test in my life and I have never had one that came even close in detail or as extensive. I highly recommend Atlantic Hearing .

At ease, since they were very nice and understood my problem. Office was very clean and neat. They were friendly and it was explained what was going on and how their office could help me. Loved my first visit. Best part was that they took me right in the very next day when I was having trouble hearing. No other place I called would do that.

Life changing experience. I suffer from early onset bilateral hearing loss and tinnitus. I wish I would have gone sooner. They don’t simply give you hearing aids and you are on your way. They treat your tinnitus and calibrate your aids for you specifically. You will not get that detail to attention buying a pair of hearing aids from a freestanding store or online. Worth every cent. My neurologist Dr Fulop sent me there for many symptoms I was having. One of the main ones was my balance. Dr Pollock is very professional, knowledgeable and very caring. She is one of the best doctors that I have ever had. The staff is friendly and professional as well. I have recommended this office two friends. In fact two of my friends have appointments already. You just can't find a better place to go and find out if you're having hearing problems and other symptoms like I did with balance and vertical tendonitis. I never even thought I would need hearing aids. Wow when I was surprised what I wasn't hearing. Balance and many other areas of my physical health. Highly recommend Atlantic hearing.

The BEST EVER!! Had my In-laws there to check and receive hearing aids. While there told them my left ear was hard to here. So Dr. Looked said wax in ears seem to be a problem, she took out all the wax, and said no more Q- tips, instantly great hearing again. So Thankful to them ALL. GREAT STAFF.

I had an appointment this past Wednesday and as always, always greeted with a smile from the young lady at the reception desk...I've seen quite a few different ones and the same result..now this is an appointment I always look forward to..my hearing test went well. .either it would be with Mussa, Rosie, Bailey, or Dr. O'Brien, I am always pleased with what valuable information I get..I can't say thank you enough for making it easy to feel comfortable with asking questions with concerns..it means alot. .

Very friendly staff! I do have to give 4 stars for 2 reasons. The doctor we met with was not knowledgable about the hearing aids when asked the difference. Also, the receptionist was in pajama, and I mean she was wearing a sweatshirt, lounge pants and SLIPPERS! Maybe it was a dress down day at work..but she was the only one dressed un professionally. It’s difficult to take a business dealing with my health seriously when their employees can’t even take themselves seriously.

My husbands ear bud was stuck in his ear. I did not have an appt. but called at 9am ,gave my phone # to get back to me, when that did not happen I drove to port orange.Explained this to receptionist,MUSA came and took Jim and corrected the situation . We are thankful for the excellent patient care at Atlantic. MUSA is very knowledgeable and we are grateful that he is there. This office deserves 10 stars..

I’ve never experienced a doctor along with her staff with such knowledge and genuine kindness and truly caring for me, it was a remarkable and positive experience! I recently developed tinnitus and hyperacusis due to my recent SSHL, it was a horrible experience and no hearing doctor I went to knew anything on how to help my tinnitus and hyperacusis along with my life changing events losing my hearing after SSHL and no doctor cared for me and was always told “learn to live with it” and was brushed away outta the office within 5 minutes or less. I heard about Atlantic ear doctor in port orange who is a wonderful doctor along with her staff, she was a 2HR drive but I took a chance and see if I could finally get the help and care from a doctor that I been looking for after my life changing events due to SSHL and I’m so grateful I did! She was truly the most amazing, knowledgeable, and kind doctor i ever experienced in my life, not only did she understand everything all my issues and questions i had with my ear she truly genuinely cared for my needs and WANTED to help me and share her knowledge with me to help me, my husband came with me to the visit and she even included him in helping me find out exactly how to help my hearing, the doctor truly wanted to help me and find out every possible problem with my hearing to get me the exact tools I needed to improve my hearing and help my tinnitus, she truly is amazing. She help me get my hearing aids that work for me and help with my tinnitus so I can start living my life and hearing like i use to before SSHL but even better! And she treated my father and husband like gold who were with me during this experience and worked with me and my father on the best affordable prices. I recommend her and her staff to ANYONE with any remotely hearing problems or loss, even if you gotta drive 3HRs, because I would, you truly won’t find anyone who genuinely truly cares for your needs and wants to help you and who actually KNOWS what she’s doing and knows exactly what your going through and the steps to help you live a better life hearing, thank you again for everything and for making my family feel apart of your staff and family when I needed the help most with my hearing problems

October 06, 2023-I am updating my prior review as when the original was posted they did reach out to me and today I did receive a full refund in the mail which was wonderful of them. I am happy that they stand behind their error and made good on it. I was just going through my husband's paperwork as I am getting ready to donate his hearing aids and I noticed that my husband paid $499.00 on 08/09/2021 for a service contract that he never used as he passed on 01/07/22. I did notify them of his passing but I never received any money back. No where on the paperwork was it marked non-refundable! Very unfair!

This was my first time here. Everyone was very friendly. I saw Dr. Michaels. She was very knowledgeable, especially about vertigo which is why I was there. She made me feel extremely at ease during the tests. I would definitely recommend this facility.

I Love Atlantic Hearing, Balance & Tinnitus Center. Dr K takes excellent care of my hearing aids, keeps my ears free from wax build up. It is worth the 2 hour drive for the best outstanding service for my hear aids. Wish they would open an office in The Villages, Fl, outstanding computerized service other offices do not offer. This is a review and recommendation for Atlantic Hearing, Balance and Tinnitus center. I cannot recommend them more highly. They have been extremely professional and informative in every interaction. In seeing them I have become more knowledgeable with regard to my hearing and the science behind treatment. If I was younger I would be asking for direction to learn even more. I would have been proud to work with a group like this. Here’s the story. I have been a patient of Atlantic Hearing and Balance and Tinnitus center for over 4 years. After an initial examination and testing it was determined that hearing aids might be helpful for my hearing and tinnitus problem. I initially tried over the ear hearing aids that gave me immediate improvement. The center provided good follow up with adjustments for even better results. With the advent of Covid 19 and wearing mask I developed a problem in wearing glasses, masks and hearing aids for long periods of time. We decided that I should try a different type of hearing aid that fit within the ear canal. Those hearing aids solved the mask, glasses, and hearing aid problem but did not improve sound or quality as much as I had hoped. Through multiple visits with Kristine Terrell at the New Smyrna Beach office we mutually agreed that after 18 months of trying to make things work it was time to go back to the over the ear hearing aid. Kristine has been helpful and supportive throughout this process. There have been continuing advances in those over the ear devices in the 18 months I wore the in canal aids. We are no longer wearing masks and these new over the ear devices are markedly more comfortable and superior in performance. We are now in the process of tweaking adjustments for best possible performance. My friends and family have noticed positive changes in my cognition immediately. I now wear my devices from my first cup of coffee until I go to bed at night. I have my life back! Again I highly recommend and have often referred friends and family to this group. The courtesy and professionalism from the initial contact and through my last visit are much appreciated. Having a satellite office in New Smyrna Beach has been a great benefit.

My husband and I both go to Atlantic Hearing. My husband has the greater problem and we were becoming discouraged about his hearing. Their constant efforts to find a remedy finally gave him a solution to his most recent issue. We are SO happy.

Going to Atlanta Hearing and Balance has changed my life. I have severe hearing loss due to a tumor and meniears disease. They are very knowledgeable and knew what to do to help me hear again. Caution - Masks Not Required. Took my 88 year old mother for an appointment and we sat in the waiting room with a few other customers who were also senior citizens. As we are waiting another customer comes into the waiting room and is at the reception desk talking and coughing for a good 15 minutes with no mask on. When I asked if they required customers to wear masks I was told no. Surprising since many of their customers are in the age group most at risk from Covid. I post this comment to alert folks so they are aware of this situation before walking into Atlantic Hearing.

I recently went to this establishment due to having problems with vertigo. The staff there was friendly, efficient and you got the impression that they really cared about your well being. Dr. Clancy was awesome. Made me feel safe as she was testing me and treating my vertigo. Highly recommend this place for all your hearing needs.💯👍😊

Dr Clancy and the med assistant(I forget her name) we’re so fabulous. They explained each step to me along the way and were able to give me definitive answers where other doctors claimed it was stress related when it was in fact not. I’m beyond happy with the staff here and am thankful they were able to find a simple problem with a simple treatment plan.

Outstanding!! I have hope again after dealing with this dizziness for over 30 years. Dr. Clancey was so insightful and patient.

Hearing test was thorough, results reviewed and options were thoroughly explained. The frontline staff is very professional. However, I have been waiting greater than a week for the billing staff to return my phone call. There is a discrepancy with the insurance coverage and I am due payment. 5/26/2020 Called again. BUYER BEWARE.....I you have insurance be sure to get an itemized bill BEFORE you pay. You are charged for things that are not disclosed to you before they submit your claim to the insurance carrier. You receive the cost of the total and they have you sign a generalized waiver, covering the balance. If you have insurance you should not sign the waiver, that's why you have insurance to cover the customary and reasonable cost of a service. VERY deceptive practice.

This was my second visit here. Once with my wife and now for myself. Both visits were outstanding. Great staff and doctors. They performef an incredible amount of testing to analyze my problem. It's a first class facility.

Doctor was very helpful. She took the time to explain everything to me like I was 5 - which I needed! Then took time to answer all my questions in depth. Receptionist was very friendly and personable. Overall a superior staff that sets the bar high for doctors visits.
