My husband and I went to Humphreys to either purchase or have a ring made for me for our 15th anniversary. We couldn’t find anything we really liked so Shawn said he would just make me whatever I wanted. He was so amazing! Shawn explained everything in detail, sending me tons of options until I finally decided exactly what I wanted. He was quick to respond and was patient with me as I changed my mind a few times. My ring turned out absolutely stunning!

I visited Humphreys & Son because my mom had a broken ring, and a broken heart. My father had this beautiful ring made for my mom 40+ years ago. She wore it every day since receiving it. I’ve always admired how beautiful it was. Unfortunately, my father passed away earlier this year. He and my mom had been married for 64 years. My mom has been struggling with his death. A few months after his passing, she fell and broke her arm, but did not remove her ring. We went to the hospital for treatment and due to the significant amount of swelling, the ring had to be cut off. The band was broken during the process. This caused my mom even more grief. The ring sat for a couple months on my moms dresser. My moms birthday was approaching, so my two sisters, two brothers and I agreed to have it repaired, so I brought it to Humphreys & Son. I had purchased from them in the past and knew of their spectacular work on friends rings. They are an amazing jeweler, with great staff. I told them my story. Shawn went right to work repairing the band, cleaning the nooks and crannies and bringing the ring back to factory condition. When I presented it to my mom on her birthday, it looked shiny and brand new even though it’s not. She cried and cried and was truly amazed at how beautiful it looked again. She was grateful for the care and detailed work that was put in to restoring her treasure! She slipped it on her finger and has not removed it since. She kept holding it to her heart and was in awe! I'm very pleased with how I was treated. The staff was so helpful. Helen was sweet and caring about my repair request. Shawn listened carefully to my ideas on how to incorporate my broken wedding band into my late father’s wedding band. He offered suggestions on how he could combine them into one ring. We agreed on the best method and he got to work. I was so very impressed with the workmanship! He re-sized my Dad’s ring and wrapped my ring around it and soldered them both together. Going to Humphreys & Sons Jewelers was one of my best decisions. The staff there greeted me and helped me make decisions about some coins and jewelry I brought in to sell or trade. I was paid for what they were interested in. For some antique items, I was directed to Dunn's for them to be sold on consignment. They are fair and honest.

Wow what a place. Especially during busy busy bike week. The owner Helen talked with me for a little while telling me the background of the store and everything I was truly impressed. They actually make and sell 1500 1 Troy oz 999 fine silver commertive bike week coins. It was my first time at bike week since we just got a place in Daytona beach. Anyway I loved this coin. It's beautiful, elegant, numbered and really a beautiful piece. It will hold its value over time. I hope lol. Plus we started talking about old coins which I collect and she even offered to help me finish my collection of 1943 steel penny's I still need the S minted version. I was truly blessed by talking with her and I hope she does send me the penny lol. I'll keep yall updated about it. Anyway thanks guys for a memorable experience!

Had a wonderful experience. Everyone was helpful, knowledgeable and very nice. Sold some items belonging to my sister and sent her the proceeds in Belgium. The checks were lost in transit and I was worried sick. I spoke with Laura about my problem and she stopped payment on the check and reissued it to me. I then wired it and the problem was solved. I will always remember the service and would recommend them to anyone. My sister visited the area as this was unfolding and had a great experience also. Humphries is the best!

Better than new!!!! My wife and I are new to the area. I recently lost the diamond in my wedding band for the second time. I chose to take my ring to Humphreys & Son for repairs based upon the many positive reviews on Google. I wasn’t disappointed. Shawn Humphreys showed me several diamonds and mounts and explained the costs and associated pros- and cons- of each. He recommended a bezel ring setting for extra strength and security (I didn’t want to risk loosing a third diamond) that could accommodate a slightly larger diamond than the one that I lost. Shawn did an amazing job restoring/repairing my ring. In fact, my wife and I think it looks better than the original! Easy to do business with, great service and quality work at a reasonable price. Outstanding experience with the crew here at the store. I came in with a watch I wanted to consign. I received fair offers to both consign and they would buy outright. Their jewelry cases are filled with lovely finds and very good prices. They let me play with some beautiful pieces. The lovely ladies there are led by the owner, Helen, who will regale you with stories of Daytona Beach's heyday. She has owned the building and the store since the 1950s. She has lots to tell and you become enwrapped in her warmth and charm. I could only imagine that she was just as full of love and light back in the day. Most definitely worth any visitor or local stopping to say hello while you are here. She and the store are Daytona Beach treasures.

I bought gold and silver coins from a reputable online dealer some years back. I was going to sell them back to them but decided to check with Humphreys first. They purchased my coins for a very good price. I'll do all of my gold/silver coin purchases with them from now on. The owner is a sweet lady who has owned the business since the 50's. Had great conversations with her and she is extremely courteous. Highly recommend them.

The best kept secret is out !!! This honest family owned & operated jeweler has been a staple in the community for 50+ years & now I know why. They 'spruced up' my 30yr wedding ring & now it looks better than when it was new! Seeing it truly brought tears to my eyes. I also had some other pieces altered, watch battery replaced, sold some old gold & silver jewelry, and even reserved a limited edition bike week silver coin that they custom design & make every year. I absolutely LOVE my ring, I lost a diamond and needed one replaced, I went to pick it up, it was beautiful and ring looked brand new, however, the jeweler didn't know it was supposed to be Mickey Mouse shaped. We are new to the area and were looking for a Jewler to replace the setting on my wife's engagement ring. We were looking for a Platinum setting. We did a google search and decided on Humphreys and Son because they are a family-owned business. We knew after 5 minutes talking with Luara and Helen we were in the right place. Luara showed us a platinum setting we thought would be beautiful. We left the old ring with Shawn and let him do his magic. When we picked up her ring we couldn't believe our eyes! The diamonds just popped out of the platinum setting. We were more than delighted and excited. Shawn did an excellent job setting the ring. It is exquisite.
