Happened on this place while in town. We’ve lived in Germany before so we are always looking for authentic German food. This place did not disappoint!! Fantastic food, fantastic service. Would highly recommend!! Their homemade apple dumpling was amazing!! The beer brat and schnitzel was phenomenal!!

Quite an enjoyable meal i had tonight ( 12/39/2020). Had the German potato salad, yummy. Well cooked not to tart or vinegar over powering. Like didn't taste vinegar much. The fries up charge for the bbg pulled pork wrap, bro sweet deal. They where hot chrisp and fresh to order. They definitely keep the oil changed correctly. The wrap was a fair size for the price. The thing is excellent to my tastes buds. I'll be eating dinner here for a few nights. I will edit this with updates as I dine here.

Casual and clean restaurant.. Nice choice of not your average wurst and sides. Food cooked to order and wait staff was knowledgeable and pleasant. I was too full to eat my dessert there -- a homemade apple dumpling. Will be going back.

This is a neat little place tucked off the size of the road. Small, yes, with only 4 tables inside but very clean and neat and the food was very good! We had their apple dumpling (more of a glorious apple dumpling ice cream sundae) that was fantastic. Also shared their jagerschnitzle (huge). That was also great and their prices are great too! Recommended! Update 6/29/22 We're back in town and stopped by again. Still a great place. Very friendly, great service and, once again, had the jagerschnitzle. Couldn't possibly finish it all! Jagerschnitzle, kartoffln (a German side dish) with mushroom gravy. $15 and enough to make 2 meals! Delicious! To stuffed to get the dumpling this time. A customer next to us for a hamburger that looked incredible! Recommended... again!

Food was steaming hot! Grab the food and headed to the back where there is a sick Steelers bar.

Best German food since my grandma! The girls that take care of you are as top notch as the food! Will be going on Friday for the fish fry special and probably pick up a lot of other things. All I can say is YUMMY 🤤!!!!!!

First time here at the Brat Haus. I ordered the beer brat. Service was good. If you want beer you have to go next door and bring bottle back to Brat Haus. It wasn't an issue and enhanced the meal. Will be back again.

We had a wonderful lunch at The Brat Haus. It is a very nice, clean, and cozy restaurant tucked away in New Smyrna Beach. We wanted to try out some of their German delicacies. Their food was amazing. You get nice portion sizes and reasonably priced. Go Try Them Out!

Finally found a good German restaurant around here! Authentic taste, large portions... This place earns five stars for so many reasons!!! Check out Joe's handmade crafts for sale on the counter while you're there! Joe's mother owns the place, and is one of the sweetest ladies I've ever met! I was stationed in Germany when I was in the military, I always crave good German food and this place has scratched every itch and satisfied every desire when it comes to having some homemade traditional German food!

Tiny place snuggled next to Bay 3 Bar could easily be missed (we have never noticed it and been driving by for years!). Great German food offerings. Friendly prompt service. Again, tiny. 4 tables & 2 bar seats. But don't miss it. The food. Wow. Piping hot and delicious authentic red cabbage and German potato salad were delicious. My Weisswurst, which I chose to have garnished with grilled onions and curry sauce, was excellent. Flavorful wurst with a great texture. Fresh soft bun. Perfectly grilled onions in a generous portion. The crowning glory was a curry that wasn't overpowering and provided the perfect compliment to my sandwich. We'll be back.

I got the chicken schnitzel and it was super good. The service is great and so is the food. This is a local German restaurant that does an amazing job. I definitely would check it out if you love hole in the wall places!

The hubby and I decided to try somewhere new, and based on some recent reviews we decided to give The Brat Haus a go, and I am so glad we did. We started out with an appetizer and decide on jalapeño poppers with a pineapple jabanero salsa. So delicious! Hubby finally decided on the Port Beer Brat with all the fixings including sauerkraut. He kept things simple and went wirh fries as his side. It was a good size portion and he said had great flavor amd cooked perfectly. I enjoyed a pork schnitzel sandwich with fries. The pork was breaded and seasoned just the way I remember from my assignment in Germany. Next time I'll skip the prior meal so I can enjoy it the larger serving which comes served with mushroom gravy and spaetzel!! Although we were both STUFFED, I decided we had to take with us the Homemade Apple Dumpling served with ice-cream and caramel sauce (or chocolate or raspberry sauces). It is perfectly sized to share and we both commented how the apple was cooked just right with just a touch of firmness and the flavor was delicious with the spice both inside and outside of the pastry. Our overall impressions: The owners have really made the most of a small and unique space, offering indoor and outdoor seating. Everything we had was excellent, well flavored, cooked perfectly, and not over seasoned or salty. Our food was timed well so we were able to enjoy our appetizer fully before our main course and our dessert was packaged well to travel home. The pricing was reasonable and the menu offered much more than I thought it would. Everyone from a child to senior, with simple or picky to authentic tastes will enjoy their meal. We will definitely be back!!

Very nice little restaurant with lovely staff. We have been there with our two kids and everyone one was very kind to us. We felt very good and had a lot to eat for a very good price. Especially the board with the specials was so delicious. Pretzels, zucchini, cauliflower, etc. and every dish with a nice little sauce. I would recommend this experience to everyone. If we have the opportunity we will come back and enjoy eating here.

Food was great. Quick service. The staff was super cool. The place was super clean. When I went in, no one was there and the 2 employees where cleaning! Not like most places where staff would just be hanging around on their phones. Little things like that show me the kind of service I’m about to get. My 1st time there and I was nothing less than impressed. Awesome place next to the new Smyrna airport (where I’m working) glad I found this spot. Recommend checking them out.

My girlfriend and I stopped in for some local mom and pop fare. I had the foot long hot dog and she had the jager schnitzel. Enormous portions, super friendly owner and staff. Bar on the backside and pleasant atmosphere. Note - German authenticity lacks, just has more of a southern twist.
