De Aar isn't the most convenient stop between Pretoria and Cape Town but this guesthouse is really excellent and well worth the detour.

This was a hidden gem we found while traveling from Durban to CPT. We wanted to sleep at Colesberg, but everything was booked out. We had to look for something in nearing towns. We found this place by chance. What a great find! Clean, comfortable, great food and good value for money. 👌
