We were excited to hear Krispy Krunchy open a new halal location here in Plano. So I took the opportunity this weekend to pay a visit. We ordered a 12 piece chicken, 12 piece tenders, jambalaya and Mac and cheese. The chicken and tenders had the perfect amount of breading and were very juicy. The jambalaya rice was a bit dry but tasted ok. A comment on the table by a family member spoke volumes "This is so good. KFC will lose to them". We highly recommend this place and will definitely go back for more fried chicken in the future. My request to the owner is to continue to keep the high quality of your food and customer service.

Spotted this place while at the post office this morning and, being the fried chicken fan I am, had to stop by after errands to get some lunch. First off, staff was awesome and excited to help with any questions. Just a happy crew with smiles. The location is brand new. Nice, clean and well organized. I ordered the whole wings since I’m a purist and it’s what I judge all fried chicken experiences on. I was expecting spicy because I noticed “Cajun" in the sign and sides, not the case. Really good flavor to the bone and fantastic breading with great crunch, but not spicy. Fine with me, I love some hot sauce or jalapeños anyway. I had the fried potato wedges and they were a little thick for my liking but they were tasty, next time, I’ll try another side, maybe red beans and rice or mashed potatoes. Overall, great product at comparable prices with a happy staff are reasons I will gladly support this new spot. Getting family box next time and already looking forward to it!

Very great service and halal fried chicken

Been a huge fan of Krispy Krunchy for many years, glad they opened a location in Plano finally!!!! One thing I did not like was instead fries they have potato wedges, and they were kinda hard. Please bring fries to this location.

New chicken shop by the post office. Chicken was well seasoned but the crunch didn't make it through the short drive home. The red beans were standard fare. Never hurts to throw a few dollars to new local business.

Oh wow, the food was just absolutely mind-blowing, especially those chicken thighs and leg. And guess what? It's halal! Can you believe it? I mean, I couldn't possibly recommend this place enough. Seriously, it's a must-visit.

Nice and clean place with great service. Our takeout was fried chicken and biscuits, quite a tasty meal. Deserves another visit soon!

I'm highly disappointed with this place. The reviews were good so maybe my expectations were too high. Got a chicken sandwich, 4 tenders, and mash potatoes. First complaint is I wanted the honey butter popcorn shrimp but they didn't have any. Second they had the mashed potatoes but no gravy. Third everything was dry and super salty. I ended up throwing most of it away and feel like my money and lunch time was wasted. Not only were they out of things but didn't offer anything instead of or any kind of discount. I don't expect free stuff but with this kinda situation I figured they'd offer some discount or something. Nope🤷‍♂️. Lastly, the mashed potatoes were like school lunch. Not amazing or anything I'd ever go back for. Normally I don't write bad reviews but this was exceptionally not good overall. Sorry but have to say the truth. Wouldn't write this normally but collectively a bad experience.

Great food and good service. I like the chicken, it was soo crispy and delicious better than KFC.
