We loved our stay in Issac’s cabin. We were a little late checking in and it seems like we just couldn’t stay long enough to try out all the features. I will highly recommend to family and friends as well to stay here. Close to Waco but very quiet, no highway noise. Close to Homestead Heritage and the many classes they teach. Very peaceful and relaxing. You can plug in a device to charge in any wall outlet (bring your cord), heat and AC are most convenient and nearly silent. The only thing I wish was different, would have been to remember to bring my house-shoes, but I don’t expect to have house shoes provided 😎.) The lovely modern kitchen has spices and dishes for cooking, cold filtered water in the fridge, fascinating equipment for coffee, espresso and more! Beautiful waterfront patio. I like the string lights around each area. I don’t have an electric vehicle but would like to try one after seeing the convenient charger for it. Overall very inviting, you will want to extend your stay if possible. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Booked for a weekend getaway. Perfect location just 15-20 min drive away from the silos, great scenery and view. Our modern styled cabin/cottage was one of several surrounding a peaceful, well maintained and well lit, pond. Fire pits, hammocks, warm and welcoming strung lights, all available and conducive for cozy and relaxing evenings. Hosts gave great recommendations for local food, activities, and provided detailed and easy instructions to follow. Would highly recommend Live Oak Lake to everyone!

The Cabins at Live Oak Lake are hands down the best place to stay in the Waco area. The hosts have provided everything you could possibly need for a peaceful and relaxing stay. We thoroughly enjoyed our evening around the fire pit overlooking the lake. The cabins are spotlessly clean and very spacious. The furniture and beds were incredibly comfortable. They offer EV chargers as well! Isaac and Helen have thought of everything! You will absolutely enjoy your stay at their cabins!

Live Oak Lake is the perfect place to get away! The cabins are modern, new, and super clean. I loved waking up to the wall of windows with a view of the lake. We vacationed with 2 other families with kids and the site provided enough freedom for the kids to roam and adventure. The cabins have high end amenities like soaking tubs and appliances while being in nature. Our group enjoyed fishing and kayaking. I would love to return to Live Oak Lake again and again!

My family and I stayed at the Live Oak Lake Forest's Edge cabin over the Mothers Day weekend. Absolutely gorgeous property and facilities. We had a wonderful and relaxing time. The kids loved the swings, hammock and the common area. The place was very spacious and was very comfortable. Isaac put a lot of thought into the place and we loved everything about the place. We will definitely be coming back again in the near future. Could not recommend the place enough. Its a hidden gem for sure!! Thank you Isaac for the hospitality.

What a beautiful stay we had! It’s close to Waco, yet far enough away to be able to enjoy some peace and nature. Every single detail of this property is so well thought out...from the front gate, the driveway in with all the lights, the lake, the twinkle lights, the hammock...Greeted by a sweet welcome note and fresh cookies...the interior is stunning, simple yet beautiful with its Scandinavian inspired design and decor...the kitchen was fabulous with everything one would need to cook a meal...including spices. The tea and kettle were so nice to have after a long day! The tall ceilings and bathroom were lovely. We also really appreciated their very detailed House Manual, which was helpful! We truly enjoyed our stay, and hope to come back in the future! Cindy & Ava

My wife and I had a very relaxing time at Live Oak Lake. The cabin was comfortable and clean, full of quality amenities. We stayed in the Lakeview South cabin and had a great view of the water. The frogs and crickets serenaded us in the evening. The attractive 360 narrow spiral stairs leading to the loft were very safe but not for someone who is challenged with stairs. I recommend small luggage if you plan to take it upstairs to the bedroom. Highly recommended for those seeking a quiet retreat!

We had a lovely stay here.Isaac was very accommodating with our arrival time. The cabins are modern and streamlined with effective use of space yet still have that cozy feel. Great amenities. We loved looking out at the lake. Every morning we would see a turtle sunbathing on a rock in the middle of the lake. The hammock was comfortable and a great place to relax. If you are looking for a peaceful and serene getaway while in Waco this is the place! I would definitely stay again.

This place was stunning and serene! The cabins were very thoughtfully designed and had everything we needed including multiple coffee options and great recommendations on places to visit in Waco. The care that went into building these cabins was impeccable and the modern and minimal design offered a beautiful and relaxing retreat to unwind at. It lived up to the listing, if not even better in person and we’ve already told a few other friends and family they should go. It was well worth the trip!

We stayed at Live Oak Lake to celebrate our 10 year anniversary and it was perfect! The place is beautiful and well kept. The cabin is well equipped with anything your can think of, clean and very comfortable. The pool was a delight. We stayed in the water for an hour just looking at the view and enjoying the silence. This is the perfect getaway for couples. I have no doubt we'll be back.

This place was even better then we could have imagined. I booked it as a surprise birthday trip and it was a huge success! The cabins are equipped with everything for a weekend stay not to mention so nice and clean!! It is so relaxing and quiet, perfect for a reset or couples weekend. There truly are a bunch of things to do. The community pool and grill area is so nice and a very nice space away from your cabin. We were going to go out one night for dinner but were enjoying our cabin so much we decided to grill out and maximize our time at Live Oak Lake. This trip was unforgettable and we definitely will be back one day! Could not recommend enough!

What a magical experience! Isaac & Helen seemed to think of every little detail at Live Oak Lake. Love the interior design and spacious layout of the cabins. Beautiful floor to ceiling glass wall overlooking the lake provides the perfect setting for a relaxing getaway. We took advantage of all of the amenities from the container pool to private hot tub to communal kayaks on the lake. The cabin even had an EV charger for my Tesla! We will back back!

Absolutely perfect getaway. Live Oak Lake is a quiet spot for relaxation. Every cabin has a hot tub & there is a communal pool! The property is pristine. They even have kayaks to play in the lake. The cabin itself is very nice. My only issues were that there is no TV so we couldn't hook our gaming system to anything, there were only 2 small pans for cooking (no vent hood so don't even try cooking bacon unless you open all the doors), & the smokeless fire pit is not smokeless when the wind is blowing. All super small things that did not affect our happiness with this stay. We would book again, next time in the summer so we can enjoy the pool.

These cabins are amazing! Not only is the outdoor scenery beautiful, but the hosts really thought of every last detail to make your stay feel special! We loved the design of the kitchen and were pleasantly surprised that it had a hidden refrigerator, dishwasher, and even a Nespresso coffee machine! The tall head-space in the upstairs loft was another bonus for us - we highly recommend Live Oak Lake!

My wife and I celebrated our anniversary this past week at Live Oak, and it was the perfect experience! 24 hours prior to check-in, I was admitted to the ICU for a rare condition. Upon being discharged, the doctor advised to take it easy. Live Oak was the perfect mini-vacation that allowed my wife and I to celebrate not only our anniversary but another day of life. It was so relaxing and perfect!

Relaxing, beautiful spot for a getaway! The pool was a must during summer months. We enjoyed a smokeless fire despite the warm weather. About 15 min from downtown Waco so makes for easy day trips.

Absolutely wonderful experience. Our stay was for 2 nights and we loved every minute of it. Every detail was aesthetically pleasing and so welcoming. Even the toilet paper flower was amazing. The view looking out the glass windows were amazing, especially at night ! We had a wonderful stay, it is also very close to everything you need but also tucked away making it secluded and serene at the same time. The pool was great, we even caught some fish and did some paddle boarding. We had an amazing experience! As an extra we ordered the robes, you have to get these it just enhanced the whole experience! Such a great getaway. We were not expecting a hot tub for each cabin. We loved the hot tub with the colored lights as an added bonus for night time. This is a must even if you have kids !

Stayed at Live Oak Lake North for a night with my family, and it was absolutely wonderful. The cabins are gorgeous, the location is calm and peaceful, the amenities are top-notch! We loved everything about the stay. It's a pity we had only one night here, but would love to be back for longer.

Choosing to stay at the Live Oak Lake for our honeymoon was one of the best decisions my husband and I made. Everything from the gated community, to the consistent communication, to the intimacy's and details of the property were superb. The cabins provide a stunning view of nature at all times of the day. The property was well maintained every morning. We will definitely be returning! 10/10 recommend!

amazing place to spend time with family or friends. The place is more than wonderful and the nature is beautiful. The air is pure and refreshing, away from the noise of the city. The jacuzzi is wonderful and the house is very clean and has everything you need. The bed is comfortable. 3 days were not enough for me. I am planning to meet for a full week next time. It is definitely worth the experience and you will not regret it.

If you are looking for a great getaway, THIS IS THE PLACE! I stole away from Dallas to get some time to reflect, release, and rejoice about all that has been over the past year and all that is to come. I also needed to spend time diving deep to get the outline completed for my book. This little slice of heaven offered me the distraction free atmosphere I needed while also allowing me to surrounded with the modern conveniences that I love. I love nature but a sister also loves the nice comforts of home and was not trying to rough it out. Wonderful host and even better cabin! Try it out!

We had a wonderfully peaceful stay at Live Oak Lakes! The kitchen amenities were great and the house was very clean. We loved the private hot tub, but I wish there was a path that would lead us safely down the small hill. It was very muddy and slippery. Some extra care here would be great. The couch also had some staining. Probably from previous guest sitting down still damp from the spa. Outside of these two issues everything was wonderful. The best 10th birthday for my daughter!

The cabins, the cleanliness, the grounds, and the communication and helpful friendliness of the host were the most amazing experiences! I stayed for several days by myself in a one bedroom cabin, Cedar Brook. Then I took my husband and daughter back to a two bedroom, White Rock. Both were absolutely beautiful! We had the best time! And I loved that we didn't have to do any cleaning! I am hoping to visit regularly. We did enjoy going down by the lake and swinging that was especially nice. Also the other guests were very respectful and quiet, which was absolutely amazing! Ten stars if I could❤️ Oh, and I loved soaking in the bath, looking out the window!!

My husband and I (along with our dog) stayed at Live Oak Lake and love it ! It was a nice place to connect with nature and get away for a few days. I also loved how it was a pet friendly place, they even provide a dog crate if you cannot provide your own. It was such a lovely place!

We had the most amazing time!! The property is so peaceful. My kids enjoyed every minute of it. The home had everything we needed. The beds were extremely comfortable. Isaac is so helpful and super easy to communicate with. I am already planning our next trip.

Beautiful property full of trees, birds and a calm lake in the middle of all 7 cabins. We celebrated our 32nd Wedding Anniversary & loved the peaceful quiet location. We enjoyed the bouquet of red roses,, chocolates & rose petals. Great Romance package. We used jacuzzi & relaxed after our 3 hour drive. A perfect end in the comfortable bed. Location for us was so convenient to visit the Mammoth Monument, Texas Ranger Museum as well as restaurants and shopping. All within 30 minutes or less from our cabin. Perfect! Yes, I do recommend checking this place out. We stayed 3 days & loved it. Thank you to our hosts.

An awesome escape! This place was perfect for a get away. The staff was helpful in setting up my proposal to my girlfriend. Didi was amazing. The romance package was an awesome add-in if you’re looking to do something extra for your loved one. Me and my girlfriend are now engaged and it couldn’t have been any better. I love no TVs and just escaping and having quality time in some well done cabins. They didn’t cut any corners and make everything so accessible and helpful. High quality and worth every penny. We stayed here to have a peaceful place to unwind after visiting the Magnolia Silos just a 15 minute drive and it was well worth it. I highly recommend staying here its very quiet and calming. The pictures are exactly what you get. Very clean and perfectly decorated modern and comfortable. The hot tub was relaxing. There was a card with my name on it and delicious cookies for us. Loved that!!

My stay at live oak lake was everything and more. I love how Peaceful and quiet it was. Gave me a overall recharge on my busy life. Inside The cabin looked better than some of the 5 star hotels I've seen. Very spacious enough to fit my family with 2 beds and very neat with that modern touch to it . This place is definitely worth the trip. You will love it I LOVED IT and can't wait to visit again!

The cabin was lovely, elegant, and charming. It was the perfect place to get away for a girls weekend. The location is a great spot for those who want to stay in Waco because it's in the country (quiet and relaxing) but close enough to everything you'd want to see. I also loved the setting, with the tiny lake and trees that surrounded us. The hosts were very hospitable and kind and got back to me almost instantly when I had questions.
