Nice rooms which were very clean. Staff very friendly and helpful. Suites have the most amazing views of the bay. The grounds are beautiful and very well maintained. We stayed there for our daughters wedding but I’d go back for a nice weekend getaway.

We have stayed at the Inn at Herrington Harbour now 3 times, including for 1 week in August for our wedding. Each time it is incredible and we have seen new sides of the inn. While we love coming in the quiet winter months and enjoying a hot tub suite, we had the best time visiting in August when the Marina and Rose Haven are in full swing. We used the kayaks to paddle out, swam in the pool when it got hot, and enjoyed the outdoor space each room has. We stayed in what I imagine is their grandest suite, the Chesapeake suite, but our siblings took over the off resort house with two separate units. It was the perfect place to gather our families and had a full kitchen, full backyard, and was walkable from the rest of the rooms. We are huge fans of Herrington Harbour and can’t wait to come back and visit. 15/10 would recommend this clean, well maintained and peaceful space. (Pictures are from our various trips in February and August)

I'm still stunned this place exists and the costs associated are reasonable. The front desk staff on the phone and in person are pure sunshine. Friendly, personable, helpful, accommodating. I traveled with two kids under 6 and there was so much to do. The jellies did deter us a bit from swimming in the bay (we went in August) but we enjoyed the kayaks. Pool, food, rooms, I've booked to return already. One thing that would make the property next level is to discourage smoking on the grounds. Since the rooms are so close together, it was hard to escape the wedding guests that were smoking every time we left the room (because there are ash trays outside every room.) It's such a beautiful place, asking guests to smoke on the edges of the main "campus" would be fair and kind to guests that choose not to smoke.

We fell in love with this gem immediately upon stepping out of the car. Spectacular views of the bay. Beautifully maintained garden trails. Pool and private beach (beware it’s jellyfish season). Our room was small but comfortable and we enjoyed our private hot tub every evening! The market across the street is convenient but our sandwiches were disappointing. Ketch22, the restaurant on site has a great happy hour where we enjoyed cocktails every day. Finally, the 5 minute drive into the towns of North Beach and Chesapeake Beach allows for convenient shopping and additional wonderful restaurants! We are looking forward to our next visit…the best part being we only live 20 minutes away!!

We booked a room April of 2023 for our anniversary. Tucked away in North Beach; MD is a hidden gem!! It was everything we hoped it would be. Honestly, I shared with the staff the fact that I didn't particularly want to write a review for fear of more people discovering the beauty and tranquility it has to offer. We took walks around the garden and on the pier. Beds were extremely comfortable. Shower water was always hot. Staff is super polite and accommodating. There is an amazing restaurant walking distance. If you're on the fence about booking - get off and head to The Inn at Herrington Harbour. You will not be disappointed.

We stayed here for my niece's wedding. Gorgeous landscaping, on the beach, we indulged in all of the many amenities available. Kayaking, paddle boarding, pool, gym, restaurant and bar were great. The only amenity we could not partake of was the sauna as it was out of order. The staff was extremely pleasant, quick and efficient. I will definitely return. We went in August and you definitely will need bug spray!

I don't want to leave a review because I don't want more people to take the room we always stay in, kidding. The inn at Harrington harbor it has to be the most quintessential relaxing Beach vacation in the northern Maryland Virginia area. The staff is ultra friendly the rooms are extremely neat and clean and quiet and the beach water is perfect for the kids. I absolutely love taking my family here for a one or two nights stay once a month. The local eateries are phenomenal too especially the bait and tackle shop across the street which has phenomenal crab cakes. Catch 22 behind the inn is also phenomenal for drinks and food and pool time. I cannot recommend this place enough! The inn at Harrington harbor has become our summer retreat over outer Banks and Ocean City. Looking forward to our next day at the beach! The Sinclair family

We’ve been coming to Herrington almost every summer for the past 10 years and look forward to it always! It is such a relaxing resort even with kids in tow. The staff are all so friendly and helpful. I like being able to text their “virtual assistant” and you get a personalized answer and assistance quickly. The rooms and suites (we’ve stayed in several of each) are always clean and fresh. The beds are comfortable and the towels are nice! Love Herrington!

This place is Wonderful. My wife and I love it here. Private Beach that's open 24 hrs for all hotel guests. Very nice rooms even the basic room with hotubs are nice. Restaurant on site and few at the Chesapeake. They also accommodate weddings and receptions. They have apt size rooms to accommodate full size families and friends.

This was my first time visiting with my family but it definitely won't be the last. Upon arrival, I did go past the entrance because it looks like a service entrance but found my way back around. The grounds were beautifully landscaped...from the palm trees, pink flower trees, and tropical (looking) flowers made for great pictures. Checking in was a breeze...I really appreciated the warm greeting from the ladies in the front office. I presented my identification, signed some documents, was given my keys as well as my beach/pool passes, and suggestions of local places to visit/eat at. I had a 2nd floor one bedroom unit that was lovely. From the moment I opened the door I could smell the unit was cleaned...great! I loved the wood floors, the window blinds, "kitchenette" (w/mini fridge, coffee maker & microwave), the subway tile & shower head in the bathroom, along with my bedroom (it was spacious and simply/nicely decorated). I loved the small touches from the stained glass lamps to the artwork (peacock portrait over the king size bed/the dragonfly tile piece in the shower/the butterfly over the sink in the "kitchenette"). This is a place to relax...if you're looking to "turn up", this isn't the place for you! I enjoyed a water aerobics class on Wednesday morning, the pool all afternoon as well as dinner at Ketch 22 (the restaurant on premises). There's also a mini mart across the road (next to the parking lot) that has EVERYTHING imaginable, so if you forget something, you most likely can find it there. From snacks, to liquor and odds/ends...they also have a full menu of food choices they cook until 9pm! We got breakfast there daily (served until noon) and everything was good! The private beach is a nice, relaxing touch but unfortunately it's jelly fish season so it was impossible to get in the water. The only downside to my stay were the few stains I noticed on the cushions of the pull out couch...other than that, everything was awesome! We'll definitely be back!

We had a beautiful room, it was the accessible room. Large, clean. Comfortable bed. Beach and pool beautiful. Took our 6 year old granddaughter. She loved the playground, and we used the picnic area every day. I highly recommend it.

I shouldn't share a review of this place; I like that it's a little bit of a secret. I have gone for the lasr four years and each visit is better than the last. Good rooms, but this year we got a terrific family suite and had a wonderful vacation. In the suite, you can bring your food to cook or you can go to the Inn's restaurant (which is quite good). There's also the Chesapeake Deli right across the street for sandwiches and hand-dipped ice cream. A great vacation without having to cross the Bay Bridge.

I have been bringing my daughter for day trips to the area since she was 3. She's now 17 and this was our first over night stay. It did not disappoint and we will be returning customers. Rachel at check in was so professional yet friendly and welcoming. Rooms were clean. The gardens were beautiful. An all around excellent stay. Thank you! The environment is certainly relaxing and family friendly. We even made friends with a few other customers. Great experience!

We stayed in the Harbour View Suite. The space was large, clean, and bright. We loved the view of the marina. The property is gorgeous and we enjoyed strolling around and making the short drive to North Beach to explore some more. It was fun to hear the music of the wedding on the property at night, and it did not bother us as we got ready for bed. Wonderful spot for our girls' weekend!

First of all I wanted to say your staff was very friendly and kind. The grounds are beautiful. The room was clean , bed was very comfortable. ....but I feel that the rooms were extremely dated. It felt more like I was in a cabin in the woods then at a beach style resort. The colors, the wood furniture that was a bit worn out , and dated the boarder around the room in drab orange brown and mustard yellow, of trees. Tiffany lamps... etc. Pretty disappointed that we were told we could enjoy the facility's for day and we had to be out of the water at 11:00am so we really didn't get to enjoy what your resort had to offer for the price. So for the first section of this text rating a 4 the second part of the text rating a 3.

Great getaway from DC area. Suites are expensive but offer good amenities. Little beach is good for relaxing & wading. Love the flowers, walking paths and overall setting in the bay. Easy access to casual dining across street (Chesapeake Market & Deli) & lovely restaurant on property (Ketch 22).

Me and my wife stayed at the Herrington Harbour for our 30th anniversary. We had never heard of it but decided to take the risk based on the reviews. We weren't disappointed. The Rooms were cozy with all the necessary amenities, the staff was pleasant and attentive to our request. We also enjoyed the beach pool and convenient location of the restaurants on site. The location is beautiful!
