Peaceful woodland park, with a small lake, lots if forest trails to explore, fish & ducks along with a small amphitheater and some statues dotted around. Located nearby the university campus. Busy on the weekends with families and students. Wonderful spot with fresh air and greenery.

In my opinion this is the best part of Debrecen. In one park you have everything you can imagine- aqua park, shops, restaurants, tower, zoo and university. Picturesque park to walk around with a pond that has amazing fishes and turtles. Access is easy but not so much parking. We were lucky to find a place to park in the underground parking garage.

I lived in Debrecen for a year, and loved this place! In all four seasons, it's gorgeous! So peaceful, with several different trees, and right in front of Debrecen University. You may take really nice pics there and have a great time!

Perfect park I have seen. It's like an matryoshka, one park within the other, side by the forest and closer to the university! Relaxing & enjoying the sunshine, watching the fishes, ducks and fountains! It's also a park near the concert place!

Such an amazing park! Landscaped to perfection and very well looked after! It was nice having a stroll around, but many people and locals were also sitting on benches and on the grass. In fact, there were so many people just on a mid-of-week spring late afternoon. Would definitely recommend a walk in the area when in Debrecen.

Bery nice place to wind down, or just walk and rest a bit. Jas a nice water front, plenty of shady trees that provide shadow even in the most sunshiny days. Always a nice place to jand out!

An amazing park!!! It is a beautiful park, wide, a lot of branches and magical corners, flowers, ducks and of course the forest itself! A cute wooden playground and a place for coffee and snacks!!!

Beautiful park, if you want take a rest ,just go there , dog friendly, it has a restaurant, highly recommended it

Probably the best park in this region, it is a lovely place to either come alone, or with a friend, or with family. Fountains and a lot of trees, including natural paths in the forest increase the appeal of this place. You could come here with a book, or to have a party. It could do with more activities to do, though.

A nice area to spend the time. There is a lake, a zoo and kids playground. Many walking and bike trails.

The Nagyerdi park is a casual visit of my morning routine. You see ducks quacking. They will be laughing their beaks out even if you fail to humour them. Btw, the wooden platform surrounding the lake satisfies me. Get a sandwich for the way from the carts that will make the walk more amusing🔥🔥

Really nice place to visit whenever you are in Debrecen.

Its a beautiful park in the Debrecen close to main campus. It has a pond where a good number of ducks and fish flourish. The Unifit gym is also located near this park

It's a lovely place, perfect for a walk. I really love the way is built with trees in the sidewalk.

Nice park to relax with concessions nearby. The forest extends for miles to the north for hiking and running.

My serene chill spot where I can read a few chapters watch the ducks wading in the pond across... Introspection while the fountains buzz.. Meet mates. Party once in a while or just stare at strangers and smile at non English speakers who wanna bond in the 🌙⏰💤💤 night. Take a stroll once in a while, unwind and stay hydrated. Cheers!

If you visit Debrecen you must visit this park. It's just beautiful, calm, relaxing but full of People. You can go during the morning or during the night, it's alawasy beautiful! The most beautiful part of Debrecen is that it's full of nature, from the airport till this beautiful park. Enjoy!

It is a park with a forest scenery in the outer parts of the city, suitable for all ages. It has a playground, a lake with local wildlife, a summer theatre, some kiosks selling food and drinks and much more

A wonderful location in the midst of a city but with a calmness and beauty that makes it special.
