👍👍 The menu is getting a big change to offer more large plates instead of just Tartes and the steak. I had the Wiener Schnitzel today and it was an absolute "weiner" of a dish. The tartare sauce is a perfect pairing with the richness of the schnitzel. The fried capers were a new experience that I love... People often mention friendly,

The menu is getting a big change to offer more large plates instead of just Tartes and the steak. I had the Wiener Schnitzel today and it was an absolute "weiner" of a dish. The tartare sauce is a perfect pairing with the richness of the schnitzel. The fried capers were a new experience that I loved as well. The current special is the Goat Curry which is exceptional and well priced.

Quaint bar & grill tucked into a small plaza but don't expect anything you're used to. Fugitive by name, Fugitive by nature & not a damn chicken schnitty in sight! Hoorah! Brilliant range of Ales & tap beers ( I recommend the Pine Lime Sour) & an inviting wine list with a plethora of choice. You'll need a few visits to sip through it & love the inclusion of some decent Aussie drops too. Impressive dining options from charcuterie, house made pâtè, delectable tapas style entrès to fancy, yet far from pretentious, mains of Tarte Flambèe, steak or confit duck (which is to die for). Tempting desert options are available also if you actually have room after grazing the menu. Won't be long until the secrets out so get here quick & be impressed by this venue & it's staff.

Quaint little local business boasting a big selection of drinks and delicious tapas! Absolutely worth a visit if you're looking for a fun dining experience, try their range of drinks paired with their fantastic meals. The staff were so incredibly friendly, and accommodating, passion overflows from them, leaving you feeling positive and eager to return. We enjoyed some of their specials which we wouldn't have had the opportunity to try anywhere else, genuinely happy that we selected The Fugitive Ferret for our lunch over what was available in the area! Don't waste any time hesitating to swing by, pay the lovely team a visit today!

6 beers on tap and a wide selection in cans/bottles. Food is fantastic. Staff super friendly. Pet friendly. Spring rolls, steak, calamari, oysters and Tarte are all great. Do tell them how you'd like your steak cooked or it will be medium by default.

Dropped in today for lunch to check out this new venue. They have six beer taps offering something very different and a wide selection of cans & bottled beers. I tried the Wicked Elf Pale Ale which was absolutely fantastic. The food menu is well focused and has options for most. They have thankfully skipped the burgers and wings and instead gone with a tight selection of small plates which are perfect to share. Also to share, or for the hungrier, there are the excellent Tarte Flambee. These are super thin crunchy crust pizzas. They also have a steak frites for the purist. We opted for the Soft Pretzel, Crispy Chips and the Lamb Tarte Flambee. Everything was super fresh and well presented. The soft pretzel was beautifully golden, had a crisp chewy exterior and fluffy inside. I think it had been brushed with butter which made it a bit of a buttery challenge to eat and stay clean but it was still very good. The chips were fresh and hot and had a house chip salt. Normally I complain that chips are under seasoned but these might have been a tad over salted. Either way the chip salt was delicious and appreciated. The star would be the lamb tarte flambee. The crust was crispy to the last slice. The lamb, tomato, rocket and yogurt were super fresh and delicious. It was quiet when we visited so the staff were super attentive and friendly. I wish them well with the new venture and will definitely be returning.

Always incredibly good beers on offer. Love the undercover, dog-friendly al fresco area (heated on cooler nights). Staff's dog-friendliness can't be overstated 😊, with pats and water bowls on offer. The passion for great beer, wine, spirits and food is infectious. Vibe is chill, without blaring music (though the background music selection of 80's-00's rock is awesome). Having access to the best local and interstate beers on tap is an absolute win. Haven't had trouble finding a table yet, but reservations for group celebrations would be highly advisable on as it's popular.
