This
school
has
many
benefits-
strong
education,
great
teachers,
medical
experts,
police
and
counsellors.
But
instead
of
putting
these
in
place,
they
punished
the
honest
students
from
their
year
9
camp.
Yes,
I
agree
that
the
school
did
have
to
make
a
change
in
some
way
to
stop
the
students
from
making
dangerous
choices
again,
but
a
2-5
day
suspension
is
just
unreasonable.
It
is
a
good
idea
for
the
students
to
reflect
at
home
with
the
people
they
love
and
trust
but
it
has
no
means
to
be
on
their
permanent
school
record
as
a
suspension.
On
the
Tuesday
night,
the
teachers
from
the
camp
claim
that
they
were
walking
around
checking
on
every
group,
but
the
students
tell
us
otherwise.
For
them
to
be
walking
around
they
wouldโve
seen
many
students
fall/faint
right
in
front
of
them
or
kneeling
down
trying
the
challenge.
They
may
not
have
known
what
they
were
doing
but
anyone
with
common
sense
wouldโve
gone
and
asked.
The
students
say
that
most
of
the
teachers
were
in
a
group
talking,
they
walked
around
a
little
in
the
first
20-30
mins
of
the
night.
Unfortunately,
this
even
has
made
everyone
unaware
of
how
great
the
actual
camp
was.
My
child
came
home
so
happy
with
the
camp
leaders
and
activityโs-
such
as
high
ropes,
cohort
bonding
activityโs
and
challenges,
just
upset
about
the
seizure
incident.
They
also
said
that
the
teachers,
most
of
the
time,
were
great
and
had
really
good
conversations
with
them.
I
donโt
want
to
take
these
positives
away
from
the
camps
and
school
but
there
were
and
are
definitely
better
ways
situations
like
this
could
be
handled.
