Went here on purpose, but not as expected. Fewer than 25 vehicles are on display here, very different from what other photos in the review show, and the outdoor area is not open. Ticket prices are slightly higher than actual value.

We visited in winter. Very nice and unique little museum. It is a short visit of around 45 minutes to see all the exhibits. Not so popular hence it is not busy. You can come with elderly family and friends. I would say kids over 12 years will enjoy the cars. There is free parking inside the complex.

Became a member this year of this treasured museum in our back yard. For those of you who follow automotive history you will be amazed at the state of preservation and the rarity of this important and early collection. Former curator Evan Ide who is well known for his work at Bonhams and fielding notable Pebble Beach entries, still has a soft spot in his heart for this gem of an institution. He has helped promote the museum here and abroad, and it is finally getting recognition as one of the truly distinguished collections of its era. Plenty to do here as well with events and activities for all levels of enthusiast. We recently attended the German Car Day lawn event and that was amazing with a great group in attendance. Please support this important institution so we can pass it on to future generations.

Attended an awesome Wedding ceremony in a really cool, historic unique place. Awesome for holding a venue - but also got to see the great collection of really old cars!

Amazing museum! Although the collection is small, it is well curated. Additionally, the property and architecture are beautiful. My favorite part of the museum is their lawn events and cars and coffee. They always have amazing turnout and I am always amazed with the cars that show up.

Super cool museum in a big park full of classic cars from the turn of the century. Really appreciate the decision not to refurbish any of them. It really feels more "authentic" and gives you a neat sense of history. Great price. No need to spend more than an hour here but it's worth it -- especially if you like history. The location is kind of hidden in the Brookline suburban parkways. But once you find it, it's nice and in a big park.

Very interesting place for auto enthusiasts!!! Rare cars, old cars, old rare cars, even electric you will find there. Check their schedule they might have a car show on outside lawn. Likely they did when we were there!!! Double fun!!!

Nice small museum filled with older model cars and some more modern ones. Took a pack of kiddos ages 4-12 and they all had a good time. They are not allowed to climb in the cars or touch them though so just be aware of that. It's a quick tour of between 45 minutes and an hour but lots to read about and learn. Small gift shop by the entrance/exit.

The perfect place for a date, car enthusiasts, or anyone who appreciates fine motors. The cars are all vintage, on loan, and the museum regularly changes its cars on display which is so great! During the summertime they even host their Cars & Coffee lawn events, so there are always year round activities for you to enjoy.

What an amazing place. The cars were wonderful and apply are changed out every once in awhile, the ones on the first floor at least. We when when they had the rally cars, extremely cool to see! The building itself is a whole other thing to see and appreciate. I would highly recommend coming to check this place out if your in the area.

Larz Anderson. What a place. Constant car meets, gathering, social events, and big plus, a beautiful venue. Make time to actually checkout the museum collection as well. Its a rotating collection, and don't miss the downstairs. If you really like the spot, they also have memberships. Cool place to take your guests and car enthusiasts. Also the venue can be rented to host events. Just pro tip. If you do an event, try to pick a NOT a hot day. You can thank me later. 👍

Went to see the museum, and there were many cars on the lawn we had an enjoyable visit .It was worth the 12.00 to go in, and we also had free coffee, which was amazing .

Not exactly a car enthusiast, but was amazed at the history related through the vehicles. The museum is pristine and worth the trip! The Andersons were truly amazing humanitarians, we all could learn from them. Will definitely return.

Places awesome it's a little bit of a reprieve in the heavy Communist environment in the Boston area. They actually love things with engines

A large old carriage house turned museum. Many old gas and electric cars from around 1900. It's a must see for the old car enthusiast!
