Warning - Bedbugs! (As of 8/1/2023) I was initially extremely excited to stay at this location. My friends and I had a show to attend at Gillette and I booked a room here for $380 (room 281 for reference). As soon as we got to the room, though, it smelled of cigarettes. It wasn't ideal, but we figured it wouldn't be a big issue. Soon after, we noticed that the pillows were stained yellow from use. We started to look into each pillow case to find clean ones, and that's when we saw bedbugs running across the pillow. We immediately went downstairs to check out. We had only been checked in for 15 minutes or so, and luckily had not unpacked anything. The only positive part of this experience was that the hotel let us check out without an issue. It was concerning, though, to see that the staff did not seem surprised or concerned about our find. They simply let us leave and did not ask for any other details. Unfortunately, our plans to get ready there for the concert and sleep there afterwards were ruined, and we were forced to get ready in the car and drive hours home afterwards. I would not recommend this hotel at all, seeing how bedbugs are extremely easy to spread and take home. They have likely spread to other rooms. This location needs to be shut down and fumigated before allowing any other guests to stay here.

The staff was friendly and helpful, but my room was small and the room furnishings were very dated imo. The room rate was less expensive than many other surrounding hotels, but I don't believe that the difference in price was worth the downgrade in overall comfort and finishes.

This is a nice hotel for a good price. They're renovating and I stayed in what seemed like a newer room. The room was everything I needed it to be with a convenient place to work with my laptop, decent wifi and plenty of light, which isn't always the norm. I had a comfortable couch in my room, and I don't think I've slept in a more comfortable bed. The room had a very good wall mounted heater/air conditioner which worked perfectly. I had a burger from the Bistro and really enjoyed it. I didn't try the breakfast, but did get a great cup of Starbucks coffee. I would definitely stay here again. Very happy visit.

If I could give a zero I would. They constantly complain about noise at 6PM, however it's not noisy. They have false advertisement on their website, only selected rooms have balconies. The window was broken in our room. There's no pool. The rooms are outdated, but claim they just renovated the rooms. Guest keys DO NOT work.

The staff was great. The decisions made by management - really poor. It starts with the description *parking - - but no, it's EXTRA but you don't know that until you get there. And we're not talking a place in an urban environment. There is literally no way to get there except by car. Then, the elevator - well it works, but only after trying 3 or 4 times to close the door. The Ms. isn't having it, she's afraid of getting stuck, so the staff kindly allows us to move. OK, good enough... BUT - - my wife likes it hot and the thermostat is locked to a maximum temp that's comfortable for me, but not the Ms. Again the staff responds quickly but there's nothing they can do, so the Ms. is cold. She finally falls asleep, so I turn on the TV, BUT the slowest remote in town and..... The CLOSED CAPTIONING DOESN'T WORK for.... something odorous. Another minor or quibble the key card locks... not good. AVOID.

Location is fine depending on where you plan to go/what you need to do. However, the rooms are not clean. They're dirty to the point where it's physically uncomfortable to sleep in the beds or feel clean taking a shower in the bathroom. The fact that they charge $5 dollars for an ordinary parking lot located in a business park is absolutely absurd. I stayed in a room at this location 2 years ago and I have no idea what happened, it definitely wasn't this awful before.

First room we had, there was hair everywhere, all over the tub, bathroom floor. Then we pulled the bedsheets down, and it looked like cousin it slept in THERE!! Then we got a new room, not much cleaner, but at least we didn't have to sleep in all the hair... I'd think twice before reserving a room here

Acceptable room and cleanlinesw. The staff during checkin didn't explain that there is complimentary breakfast (1 hot drink and 1 meal) at the Bistro (which is opened from 7 to 930am ONLY) daily.

The staff here is excellent and very responsive to problems the guests may have. I had a problem with the bed. Housekeeping had put a king size mattress pad on a queen bed & then attempted to put a queen fitted sheet over it. This was rectified the next day only because we were so tired when we first came in I didn't want to bother getting the bed changed. Even when the pad was changed, it still felt lumpy to me. The manager offered to change our room but as we were only staying a couple of days, we didn't want to go through the hassle of moving. He did give us a coupon for a free breakfast. I also had an issue with the quality of the linens and towels. The bed linens were way past their prime and the face clothes and towels were thin and starting to come unraveled. We haven't traveled in a while and I had better quality linens & towels in previous stays at Marriott hotels. Our coffee maker wasn't working and was replaced as soon as we called. The woman & gentleman manning the breakfast counter were great. Their cheerful service & clean up was fast. The French toast was delicious. Our room was very clean and quiet. We found the front desk staff to be friendly and efficient.

We've stayed at this hotel at least 15 times over the past bunch of years. It has been convenient, reasonably priced, and clean. Things have changed. We used to love the little Bistro for a quick bite and a drink. Now, the Bistro has closed (except for breakfast). The overall upkeep of the hotel past the lobby has gone downhill considerably, and they recently started charging $5 / night for self parking. I think Marriott has forgotten that this hotel exists. We will start staying at the Four Points across Rt1.

Have stayed at this location many times over the years. The property has really dived. Carpets are disgusting all over the hotel. Seems as if the maintenance and cleanliness of the hotel has stopped. Dirty headboard... dirty light switches ... Stanley steamer needs to spend 3 weeks here. Very disappointed! Won't be returning again.

The hotel is nice, HOWEVER, if you are here in the morning and need a bit to eat the breakfest eatery has great breakfest sandwiches! If you have the time, the inner court yard is nice and private and has a great firepit to relax by with some comfy outdoor furniture too.

The hotel was very outdated. Staff was friendly. Do not like the carpet and some things were broken in our room.

Sorry but Marriott must of left this place off the list or forgot to remodel the location. The only thing updated in this small, two story hotel is the lobby. Everything from the hallways to the rooms to the courtyard is dated and falling apart and in need of serious upgrading and repairs. This location sits off of the auto mile on route 1 in Norwood and is tucked inside an industrial park. The hotel is small, maybe 1.5 floors. The lobby looks up to date with latest Marriott Bonvoy standards and contains a coffee bar and even computer stations and seating. The staff here is friendly and accommodating, however once you leave the lobby and start walking around this place, you will quickly see how bad a shape its in. Even the room doors are broken and old and the inside of the rooms are just bad paint jobs, old bathroom fixtures, old lamps and lights and chipping paint. The rooms are spacious enough but are in need of such an update they dont even look clean. I would skip this dump and look elsewhere down the road. There are about 20 other updated hotels on this road in the same price range. Shame on Marriott for not cleaning this place up.

We were pleasantly surprised with this hotel. It's gorgeous inside, well-maintained & all the staff we encountered were professional & pleasant. The common spaces were lovely as well. We will be reserving here again if the need arises.

Have stayed here for business during the week over the last year or so. This place is going down hill. Room is ok, somewhat dated though. Very unhappy with them charging for overnight parking! This isn't Boston! It's Norwood, MA! Nickel & diming loyal customers doesn't create a good experience. Then I just find out they lost their liquor license! Really? So much for the Marriott flag. Other hotels in the immediate area have similar rates and better rooms and facilities.

I've stayed at this location many times over the years for business and have always been satisfied. I was disappointed to learn that at the time of check-in, the Bistro wasn't open and wasn't going to be for the duration of my stay. One of the main reasons I chose the Courtyard is the convenience of grabbing a quick meal vs. having to leave the hotel.

Nice, clean rooms. Excellent for families. Breakfast available in the morning, plus a small convenience store for later in the day. There's no pool here, but a fitness center.

Good location, not too far from Boston city, but the rooms are on the older side, and the facility is a bit older, towels harder and thinner, and the smell of the spare blanket was very dusty... Guess they weren't used much. Room had good space, warm at night, but breakfast was good (avocado toast particularly!) and they didn't go above and beyond anywhere else... Just satisfactory.

On an overnight in Norwood. On check in I asked if the shuttle was available in the morning to get US to the train station I was asked what time I stated @ 8:00am. The young lady stated yes and to call the front desk before we left. In the morning we were advised the shuttle was unavailable for the day because it was chartered for a large group. We then called an Uber and waited 20mins in front of the hotel and watched the shuttle sit there my entire wait. In addition to, the four points shuttle came by and had a brief discussion with a Courtyard employee. Please make it make sense..

Hotel staff was very friendly and efficient. Room was clean and we were able to check in earlier than booked.

It was fine there beds are fairly comfortable but I'll say the pillows suck so if you're not used to down they go flat quick

Nothing wrong with the location, it just wasn't ideal for me. I guess I could have chosen better. The thing that stood out was the staff was super friendly and helpful. I left a pair of shoes in the room and they met me in the lobby to give them to me. Much appreciated!

Used this hotel for my wedding recently where my family/friends and I had nothing but positive experiences during our stay! Staff was friendly, attentive, and accommodating to all of our needs, for example the need for ajoined rooms. While the building appears to be older construction, the rooms themselves have clearly been renovated and modernized recently which makes for a comfortable stay with the luxuries one desires for this level of hotel.

We used this Marriott for our wedding room block and the experience was phenomenal! Katerina was our coordinator and she flawlessly kept track of every change and update throughout the whole process. Everyone raved about the cleanliness and spacious rooms- access to the courtyard and fire pit were fabulous too. Katerina helped us to book the conference room for our hair/makeup- DEFINITELY recommend for future brides. It was the perfect space to accommodate our big wedding party and the hotel even provided a mimosa bar for the girls. 10/10 stay!

Cleaning was subpar. Hotel was noisy. Drinks at the bistro were not good. TV reception was intermittent. Beds were comfortable.
