Love this place and I adore the staff. They have always been so good to me. Great selection, they’ll order whatever if they don’t have it in stock for ya. How could I rate my friendly neighborhood comic store less than 5 ?

Great people, great service, need better selection of wall books or at least better shuffeling of wall books.

With Amazon willing to deliver comics to you cheaper than the book price, it takes a lot to get someone into a brick-and-mortar, right? NEC has an open, uncrowded layout and a chill attitude. I'm able to peruse the new titles, flip few a couple, and not worry about being hassled or rushed into a sale. That being said, I know that if I were to ask a question, the staff would be attentive. They seem to know what's up. If you are looking for something specific, or if you want a "recommendations" tab to tunnel-vision you into your next title, hit up Amazon; it's always going to be the most efficient and cost effective. BUT! If you want to get a vibe for what is going on in the industry and have the opportunity to browse uninterrupted until you stumble upon something cool, a local shop like NEC is the way to go. I've been a subscriber here for a couple months and plan to be for as long as they are open.

Kinda disappointed. I called in advance to ask about a highly anticipated product release I planned to show up for and buy. Over the phone they made a point to mention the products would be sold at msrp and not marked up because of hype around the product release. I showed up for the release and it was neary 2x the msrp.... when I asked about the clear price hike they admitted it was because of the hype around the products. Stick to your word !

Staff Is Wicked knowledgeable and helpful. They're super sweet and friendly people. I was new to collecting and comics in general and the staff were very inviting and took an interest in my interest. If your new or old I HIGHLY recommend this company at any location.

This is a great place if you are interested in comics, collectible cards such as magic and Pokemon and supplies for comic and card collectors. There are other items such as shirts, books and statues. The staff is friendly and helpful too.

Amazing staff and an overall friendly environment. An amazingly large selection of comics to choose from. The prices are fair, and the deals are great. It's my first choice when I want new comics.

The staff at this location are the best, as another reviewer said if they don't have something in stock they will go out of their way to get it for you. Highly recommend coming here if you love comics.

My wife bought a gift card from this place (i.e., a voucher, a handwritten piece of paper issued by the store itself) to give me on my birthday; Unfortunately, the card, which was a handwritten paper, was lost with the wrapping paper and was thrown away. I went to the store twice to explain the situation, but they flatly refuse to offer a solution. The store's answer is that if I lost the card, it's my problem. Ok, fair enough. But I don't think this is a way of dealing with a regular customer. I feel they are acting in bad faith, so I will never go back to this place, and I recommend that no one else do business with a neighborhood store that treats its customers in this way.
