Unfortunately
worst
hospital
ever!
I
had
Pericarditis
after
Covid
vaccine,
turned
up
in
Mercy
ED
&
told
I
had
Gastro.
Dr
hadn't
slept
for
36
hours
&
his
eyes
could
barely
stay
open,
so
he
didn't
think
to
check
heart
enzyme
Troponin.
I
suffered
from
shocking
heart
palpitations
for
months.
I
thought
I
was
having
heart
attack.
Went
to
see
Cardiologist,
who
was
dismayed
at
my
lack
of
proper
treatment
in
ED.
Also
my
mother
had
Pneumonia
&
was
in
Mercy
ED,
with
dangerously
low
blood
pressure,
but
nurse
wanted
to
give
her
blood
pressure
medication
that
lowers
blood
pressure
further.
If
I
wasn't
there
to
stop
the
nurse,
likely
my
mother
would
have
died.
Meanwhile
during
late
hours
of
the
night,
nurses
gossiping
&
laughing
loudly
as
if
they're
at
a
party
in
the
ED,
with
no
consideration
for
sick
patients
trying
to
rest
&
deal
with
their
pain.
Truly
appalling
lack
of
care
factor.
Another
time
my
mother
had
a
bad
fall
&
went
to
same
ED.
Dr
dosed
her
up
with
strong
pain
meds
&
sent
her
back
home.
She
was
in
so
much
pain
we
paid
for
MRI
privately
&
turned
out
my
mother
had
fractured
vertebrae.
Also
I
broke
my
ankle
&
went
to
this
hospital
yet
again
unfortunately.
No
thought
was
given
to
checking
if
I
had
torn
ligaments,
even
though
I
did
rehabilitation
there
&
in
a
lot
of
constant
pain.
Months
later
I
still
had
unstable
ankle
&
was
referred
by
my
Dr
to
a
surgeon,
who
couldn't
believe
I
wasn't
sent
for
further
tests
at
time
I
was
in
ED.
Turned
out
I
had
3
torn
ligaments,
with
one
completely
off
the
bone.
Surgeon
said
can't
operate
now.
Wait
1
year
&
see
if
it
resolves.
3
years
later
I
still
have
so
much
instability
with
the
ankle.
This
hospital
scares
the
hell
out
of
me!
It's
2023
&
I'm
adding
to
this
review,
which
I
did
2
months
ago:
Unfortunately
my
89
year
old
mother
had
a
recent
fall
at
home
&
ended
up
at
this
hospital
yet
again
(even
though
I
begged
paramedics
not
to
take
her
there).
The
ED
said
she
hadn't
hurt
herself
even
though
she
has
Osteoporosis,
BUT
then
she
ends
up
having
a
fall
at
the
hospital
(which
I
wasnt
notified
about)
&
even
though
was
apparently
referred
for
review
by
a
doctor,
she
was
sent
home
less
than
24
hours
later
in
extreme
pain.
After
a
CT
scan
organised
by
her
GP,
turns
out
she
has
2
vertebral
crush
fractures!!!
This
hospital
continues
to
prove
how
dangerous
it
is
to
my
family's
health..
it's
truly
diabolical
the
lack
of
care
that
they
dish
out.
BE
WARNED!
