Shame on you Mercy Staff. Agree to all the negative reviews. You don't have Mercy on the patients who are suffering from pain. My 8 month baby accidentally had fallen from the mattress and the nose was bleeding. We checked in the emergency at 7:00 pm an there are just two patients ahead in the line before me looking for a Pediatrician. None of the staff is there to assist anyone of us and it is 11:00 pm now - already 4 hour wait with a small baby. Not sure why the tax payers money is being misused to fund such hospitals. How long do you think we need to wait and seek for assistance? Emergency department is meant to promptly assist the patients. Seeing a GP in Australia is far easy than seeing a doc in Emergency. A frustrated parent!!

This emergency mercy is good for waste our money. This place is absolute garbage & i am student and i feel like i have covid i felt not well so i paid 600$ for emergency checkup and any medication they charged 600$ first and said to me wait in waiting area so i waited at there almost 2 hours no one came and they didn't gave me any payment receipt ' I just want to ask From them What is the meaning of EMERGENCY if someone paying for emergency that means patients should have checked up straight away even not waiting 5,5 hours One star is very very very very enough to give them Really very garbage hospitals and no one care to others Shame on you money lover not human health .

Shame on you staff, I paid$600 and were sitting like 5 hrs, on a chair my wife is too sick no doctor nothing coming up, even after 5 hrs, I approached to admin counter they said we can't tell you the exact time how long it will take. I mean how rude after waiting of 5 hrs she don't even know, no idea why this hospital even exists in this society where they won't bother or care their patients pains, and emotions. We just got harassed by them paid $600 upfront no doctors no nurse nothing at all sitting on a chair and waiting for bloody 5 hrs, they just stealing our money from people pocket. We recently moved to Melbourne from NZ, And have no idea where should I go in the midnight I simply googled it and this hospital. They called werribee mercy hospital they don't even know the meaning of mercy at all because they don't have it for anyone. More, it's not only us we just left after waiting for 5 hrs without doctor checkup, few patients left from there with us after being waited for so long No good and no mercy for this staff

Wait , wait, wait and more wait... I understand the busy part but they need to understand the "emergency" part

Worst emergency to exist. Had a car accident & an ambulance took us in, they refused to check over my partner who has now found out he has a slipped disc. Had us waiting in the emergency waiting room while I was in a neck brace. We seen a cockroach literally crawl up a man’s leg, how hygienic. My discharge summary states my ct scan was normal but they recommended an mri; why not do the mri there? Couldn’t help my partner with his medication either when we were on the way to get it before the accident. They wrote incorrect information on my discharge summary and I’ve emailed to complain and was told within 45 days I’d have a response, that time has come and gone & nothing has changed on my my health record. Would NOT recommend. Next time anything serious happens I’d rather get an Uber or taxi to sunshine as their hospital actually cares about their patients.

Worst place to go to. May be coz of facilities and the staff. Very few staff in ED. The nurse who was assigned to us was not experienced and hurt the patient a lot while taking bloods.

Do not visit this place, get an ambulance if it's an emergency instead or go to your local GP, if it doesn't seem life threatening, you'll be treated faster. Following proper triage protocols doesn't exist here. Nurses seeing patients handing in forms and having GP style conversations while casually ignoring the multiple people coming in who are clearly in agony. Triage should be done in less than a minute, it is not the time to go through full patient admittance which is the purpose of your admin station. You are meant to see people in order of urgency, not in order of arrival which is the case here.

This is my second time I went there besides my awful experience during delivery. Anyone willing to go to emergency need to be prepared to be waiting for min 8 hrs except we’re dying out of excessive blood loss, heart attack or stroke. And what the nurses and doctors do inside is laugh and giggle. First time I was 4 months pregnant I went there because I was experiencing spotting and they made me wait till 6:30am in the morning and that also because I asked nurse twice. Every passing hour I had to think weather I leave or stay. I couldn’t leave as i waited so long but that day I didn’t get to sleep for all 24 hrs and I was pregnant. when I went inside I was a trial patient for a trainee doctor. They took three vile of blood and I don’t know why as I didn’t received any blood test results. Further instead of discharging me after my cervix check up doctor went to have breakfast and I was there with no food and sleep and pregnant. One nurse said doctor need to discharge me and doctor is on break then other nurse came after a while and asked me you are still here so go home. I thought I will never go to emergency there but unfortunately as all GP are already booked for 2-3 days yesterday I had to go there for my 4 month old son who had this barking cough and trouble breathing. They made me wait for 3 hours, I was tired my elder son was in car. I made my son sleep after trying a lot and when I went to ask nurse at reception she was so rude. I just asked her politely how long would it take and she replied there are people waiting for 7-8hrs I can’t say. U r here waiting for 3 hrs so I can’t say. I was asking her nicely and she was kind of shouting. This is the health system of Australia where there no spacious room in emergency nor comfortable chairs for patient who have to wait 8 hrs minimum and nurses are racist. All of our hard earned money that we pay on taxes are not used for our benefit at all. I don’t think people have to wait for this long in developing countries and doctors don’t even charge so high.

This is the worst emergency department I have ever seen in my life till date. I really don't understand why it's called as emergency department when you are making patients in pain to wait for 10-12 hours without having any idea of when you are going to treat them. If we ask for an update to the triage nurse, the most pathetic reply you will get is "Everyone is waiting so you also go and wait ". Total in emergency they had 5 patients waiting at the time I went, but after 5 hours they are saying still 6 more patients in front of you, they told me it could take whole night for you. Nurse told, If you want you can leave now, take panadol and be at home. Don't we know that to take panadol and stay at home. My question to the politicians is if you cant treat the emergency patients, why can't you fix the medical services before you spend millions in removal of level crossing or building the new roads????

Worst ED experience in Melbourne. My wife waited 7 hrs to get in to a cubical and staff has no Mercy at all. They don't know how treat people. She was sent home midnight without proper investigation. Hospital wanted ED patients to do ultra sound scans outside even during an emergency. We saw elderly patients waited 7 to 8 hrs without even water. Unit manager does not know how to talk to patients in pain. Won't go there ever again. Shame on you ED staff.. ur paid by tax payers money. Time to change the ED director and clean the whole culture..

This is the worst emergency department ever. DON'T ever think of going here. Try Sunshine or Royal Melbourne. JUST DON'T OR YOU ARE GOING TO REGRET IT. Worst than 3rd world hospitals. If you have 8hrs+ of your time to waste then this is the best place.

what a ridiculous system at the ED. Patients wait outside in the cold to be triaged in the foyer to the ED. Too bad if you have heart pain, pneumonia, extensive bleeding or some other serious complaint. Surely the initial assessment of your complaint should be done inside the hospital without the need to queue up outside in the cold. I could see any number of solutions to this issue from my position in the queue outside.

930pm 03/11/21 - My daughter just tried to take my granddaughter to emergency, with serious symptoms of internal bleeding. She was stopped from parking in the emergency parking bays by an attendant that told her to go around the corner to paid parking; despite her telling him of the emergency. She ran to ER to a large gathering of men, women and children sitting outside in the rain. She was ignored by two attendants for five minutes before she went to enter and then they proceeded to stop her, they wanted her to sit out in the rain with her twenty month old sick baby without even asking what the emergency was. She decided to spend that time travelling to The Royal Children’s hospital and be seen immediately by professionals for an emergency. Werribee hospital is shameful and a disgrace to those few good doctors and nurses that work there. My advice to you: take the time they’d make you wait, and travel to another near hospital. Don’t go here. You will waste your time.

Having lived in Point Cook for more than a decade, our family has frequented the Werribee Mercy facilities on numerous occasions. Our two sons were also born there. Throughout our time in Point Cook, each member of our family of four has spent at least a day in the hospital. We have consistently found the medical staff, including nurses and doctors, to be friendly and supportive. However, it's unfortunate that the emergency triage counter consistently has staff who are not as helpful. These individuals often treat people seeking assistance as if they are not even human. They rarely make eye contact and, on occasion, their behavior comes across as racially biased. Once past this challenging triage experience, the facilities are clean and the staff is welcoming and accommodating. It is crucial for the hospital management to address the shortcomings of the customer service at the emergency department triage counter. While it's understood that they encounter numerous distressed and difficult patients, this shouldn't justify inhumane behavior. Especially considering they are public healthcare workers paid through our tax contributions.

Triage nurses treat you like you’re problems don’t matter. Doctors make you wait for hours when you can see them laughing and chatting away. I had fainted at work while having severe abdominal pain and blood coming out one end. Only to be told they will take my blood, which came back with a high level of something which my GP told me later on. But the doctor at E.D said they didn’t want to do any further investigations as they believed it was just gastro and to just rest. Right…. Next time I faint I’ll blame gastro. 🙏

My daughter injured her feet and it was bleeding. I am still waiting in emergency waiting from 2 hours to treat her and nobody even came to see her feet. I went to the reception and I asked them can you please check who is treating my daughter and one of the nurses said I just started my shift and I asked can you please check and everyone just ignored me. Worst ever experience. Even GP don’t take that much time to see patient. Frustrated mum

One of the worse place I have come across. I went there yesterday with my husband, I had a breathing problem. Traige nurse was so rude, firstly, she told me that I dont have breathing problem coz my sats were okay, bt i told her I am not feeling comfy, i have an obstruction. Later with the puffer I had a dry throat so wanted some water my husband went to ask the nurse to fill the water bt she stated "Not at this Moment" like what is this?? I myself is RN And I can say we can be busy bt under no circumstances one should behave like that. You are a nurse and your first priority is your patient. I am not going there never ever

Would give it 0 starts if I could. Been waiting since 8PM to see a doctor from ED and no communication yet. No answer from staff at the front when asked about wait times. Noticed same people getting called multiple times and given priority which is understandable. But, having to wait with a fractured & swollen finger for over 7 hours seems ridiculous. The cafe/restaurant is closed. Bringing outside food is also not allowed. No water station inside. Vending machine is half empty with minimal options. Wont be coming back.

Mercy hospital has no mercy for emergency patients. The wait is endless. Come prepared to spend your night here in waiting room. There is not even a water tap in waiting room. Drs are in a rush to discharge without a treatment plan and will redirect you to GP.

Worst ED ever, I can understand how busy and pressured staff are but they lack basic decency, right from the moment we entered into ED we were welcomed by a very rude triage nurse who started laughing at the reason how the patient injured himself, the staff asked the next of kin to wait outside in extreme chilling cold, citing ED was too busy, in reality it was too empty. Doctor didn’t see the patient even 6 hours after being triaged. What they do is complete opposite to empathy and patient care. This place is truly disgusting Please beware and avoid this ED at all costs for yourself and your loved ones.

I understand how busy this place can be especially on the weekend. However this doesn't justify the behaviour of some staff members in this department. You are dealing with humans mostly adults not animals or kids therefore there is no need to yell !

Worse experience ever. Took my mrs in emergency department at 1 am in the morning. Firstly, they didn't allow carer to go in which is fair enough due to current situation. There were approximately 2 patients before my mrs but It took almost 1 hour for triage nurse to see her. She was taken to ward and waited another couple of hours to get treated. When she asked nurse to find out whats happening as she is getting difficulty in breathing. She was reminded by Indian nurse that ishe is lucky to get bed and warm blanket in emergency and she should stay quiet and wait. Finally, few blood test were commenced around 4 am ( 3 hours after arrival to emergency department) which is little relief. Later on, guy came in for blood pressure check. I don't understand if all staffs in emergency department are grumpy or that was just us. Guy who came in for blood pressure chek use same hand where blood was taken out for test and where blood test connecter were still connected. Upon notifying a guy that its getting painful, he install blood pressure wrap and step out slamming a door and fill up his paper work through window view. There was no apology or nothing. He didn’t even speak a single word. Blood pressure check was completed in painful condition. By the time, it was almost 7am (6 hrs after arrival at ED) and waiting for one more test which didn’t commence until 8am (8hrs after arrival at ED). Received a report at approximately 10am and got discharged at approximately 12 pm. My mrs Spend 11 hours in ED and got humiliated by staffs which she never had in her entire life. They treated patient like rubbish. Almost every second staffs were grumpy and angry. They almost forget that people attending ED/ hospital to get treatment and get cure from medical issue not to get humiliated by staffs. We understand emergency department is the busiest place but it can be handle in positive manner. Staffs needs to put their personal issue and stress at home and treat patients as human being. They should be reminded that even animals are treated better in veterinary clinic. Those grumpy staffs should hand their resignation if they are not happy with their current role. They don't have rights to humiliate patient or disrespecting sick patients.

Very bad experience with this hospital emergency service. My mum feeling very sick and waited in the waiting room. The receptionist triage nurse was very rude. She told me that the doctor see us not based on what time you have checked in. Based on different people’s situation. Yes, I told her that I understand it, but my mum was vomiting and feels pain. No any medication has provided for pain. She also told me that unless you have a heart attack, we will service you, otherwise, you just have to wait for it. I mean just for the pain killer medication, we still need to wait for it, unless we have heart attach? I hope she can say the same thing to her parents, families and friends. Good luck for her. What goes around comes around!!!!

The worse emergency hospital I’ve ever encountered. It’s just they have a system of of no order. A patient after 4 or 5 hours initial call will not likely to finish in one call. They call you about 3 or 4 times but In hours interval, so you end up 10 hours setting. So, they forgot previous patient they have to get back to, dealing with multiple patients. These scenario would scare people going into this department. I don’t recommend this hospital. They should adapt the system of Western Health Hospital in Sunshine.

Shame on you staff. I had the worst experience of my life on the night of 12/11/2022 at around 9:30. I was assaulted physically by random people and wasn’t breathing due to a heavy chest pain and the panic attack and went to ED which is a nightmare to me more than the assault i faced. the lady on the reception was very rude that she asked me to behave in that situation and pinched on my arm so hardly that it got swollen and the pain and bruise is still here that i cant even move it. She asked me to behave when I wasn’t breathing and asked my friend to bring my id first (from house) otherwise they cannot proceed ahead. She was such a racist that hit me on my shoulder. Shame on you lady shame on you. Would you be behaving when going through the panic attacks severe chest pain and the physical abuse? You are an absolute shame to the healthcare workers and system. Absolutely disgusting. I wish if i could have exposed you in-front of all the people who were sitting there at that time. You belong to the garbage not to this community and health care system. Shame on you. Karma will come back to you remember this.

Terrible wait times. Been here on 3 different occasions and have had huge wait times every time. The waiting is not the worst thing though it's the lack of information we are given. No one seems to know why it's going do slow or how many people might still be waiting before you. Just be honest with people. I'm writing this almost 7 hours into waiting for my partner to be seen.

My wife was not feeling well so I called on call nurse and she suggested us to take her immediately to nearest emergency department. So I took her to the werribee mercy emergency department, while walking from parking to emergency department because she was struggling to walk, hospital staff offerd her wheelchair and they took her inside. After waiting for 20-30 mins, triage nurse came and all off sudden she started asking multiple questions and her behaviour was very rude and when my wife was explaining triage nurse all the issues she was not interested to listen her and started reading some questionnaire and told my wife to ans only in yes/no.and based on that questionnaire nurse ask my wife to leave wheelchair and move to the chair also she deprioritise her. Even after waiting for couple of hours my wife didn't get chance to see the doctor and finally when my wife's pain was unbearable, we need to go from werribee mercy emergency department to private hospital. I will never ever recommend Werribee mercy emergency department to anyone.

The system is broken. Thank you to all the hard working nurses, doctors and paramedics and everyone one else who works their butts off to see patients. To the Victorian government, you should be ashamed of yourselves. Wasted tax payer dollars on commonwealth games only to leave hard working Australians to languish in emergency departments. Seven hour wait before we left. No indication of how much longer we would need to wait. Labor, its time to go. Its never a question of money, just priorities, accountability and transparency. it doesnt need to be like this. We need better politicans.

Absolutely pathetic. No drop offs to emergency allowed (go get a park and walk back to emergency? What?), then wait outside in the dark. Security are very rude. Considering the vulnerable people these security staff are faced with every day it was shocking to see how little compassion they had.

Worst emergency department in whole Melbourne. The lazy staff ( even receptionist ) pretend to be busy and rude. It took me 45 minutes to register my name only at reception while my son ( 1 year ) was crying and had bleeding head. After that 4.5 hours and no doctor. Finally i returned back and went to Sunshine. Please Please Please never go there - just drive extra 20 mins for sunshine or Royal Melbourne and thank me later.

worst medical experience I've even seen. got an infection, so they took urine and blood samples to see what kind of bacteria is it (to make sure I am not taking the wrong antibiotic). Guess what? They lost my sample! and the antibiotic was clearly the wrong one because my infection symptoms got worse 9 days after and I had to go take another one (not sure if that one will work or not). They simply don't seem to care! and losing a sample?! that's way below a 'standard of care'. Very disappointed! I came from a third world country and I was able to get better medical care there that what I got in this hospital

Worst experience ever. Came here with mild chest pain at 1:30 pm. After long waiting finally saw one doctor who was very impatient with me. Asking questions and not giving me enough time to answer. Then asked me to wait after taking blood sample. Now it is 5:45 pm and it feels like the hassle that is never going to end. Should’ve never come here.

One of the worst hospital I have ever attended. Still waiting to be called even after 7 hrs. When I checked with them the answer is that they cannot give a time and raise a complaint with government to fix the issues with ED. E Why is the government not paying attention to the most important need of the people.? The ED is just ridiculous here.

I would prefer to give no star if that is an available option. Through a tele health consultation my doc asked me to visit emergency department for saline drip. No wonder I had to wait for more than 8hrs,meanwhile the nurses checked the blood pressure and everything and saying " oh your blood pressure is very low! But unfortunately we can't do anything " I was offered to get admitted after 10 hrs.😏.I was bound to go home with a worse feeling.its a disgusting emergency service I experienced.

Worst ED sevice. Even a third world country has better emergency support than that of this. My toddler baby fell and her nose was non stop bleeding. At the gate of ED, we followed all the procedure - covid test of both patient and attending mom. Then they went inside. After waiting 1.5 hours, one person came and said to my wife to do the covid test again. Because their outdoor staff did not wrote the covid test of Mom. Then the staff dragg them outside to do the test again. All the time , My wife was keep saying she had gone through the test and get passed. But the attending staff(nurse did not listen to her). She dragged both the patient outside and then I interfere and keep saying she did the test. Then they found that it was not written there in the docs by their outdoor staff. But ironically they did not accept their fault and saying us that it is our fault. After waiting 2 hours, they said us to leave the place. By the time the bleeding stops and no one attend. If a emergency support does not attend a patient in 1.5 hours, what kind of ED it is!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Because of their sheet documentation issue the person had to go through the test and hassel again!!!!!!!!!!!!! Their manager and the staffs are not accepting their fault and none of them come out to apologise. We followed the proper procedure , wait 1.5 hours and then asked to go through the procedure again because of their fault. How pathetic it could be!!!! When We asked question about their fault they refused to serve us and said us to leave. Where is our taxpayer money goes to get this kind of behavior ???? Where shall the helpless patient go to get the solution and where can we complain about this very low grade emergency management ??

Understaffed and under organised Take your children and teens to RCH. Take everyone else anywhere but here. Lettng a man in with no mask, and blood dripping everywhere from his nose- on the floor, on seats- without any attempt to at least ensure his blood didnt fall on anyone of the 32 triage patients waiting, including the very unwell young woman sitting on the floor, is a disgrace. Will be making a formal complaint.

Noone attend patient for almost 3 hours even though patient was very serious, patient was unconscious and was unable to sit but still the staff did nothing and asked us to wait

I normally wouldn't post about a hospital as our doctors and nurses are mostly excellent. However, in 2020 i waited 6 hours to be seen for a torn ligament which required surgery. Tonight, I arrived with my 15 year old daughter in pain from a suspected broken wrist. Had to ask 3 times for pain relief. Was told it needed a doctor to authorise and 2 hours later she received 2 Panadol. Embarrassing level of care and patient respect

Worse emergency department in the history "thanks to Mr Tim pallan, so called labor MP for werribee". This hospital doesn't have proper medical staff or specialty. Worse triage system. Don't waste your time or money to go here! Specially if you have private insurance and you are taking elderly or Kids patients for an emergency! Left the hospital without seeing a doctor after 5 hours of sitting in emergency with pain.

Unfortunately worst hospital ever! I had Pericarditis after Covid vaccine, turned up in Mercy ED & told I had Gastro. Dr hadn't slept for 36 hours & his eyes could barely stay open, so he didn't think to check heart enzyme Troponin. I suffered from shocking heart palpitations for months. I thought I was having heart attack. Went to see Cardiologist, who was dismayed at my lack of proper treatment in ED. Also my mother had Pneumonia & was in Mercy ED, with dangerously low blood pressure, but nurse wanted to give her blood pressure medication that lowers blood pressure further. If I wasn't there to stop the nurse, likely my mother would have died. Meanwhile during late hours of the night, nurses gossiping & laughing loudly as if they're at a party in the ED, with no consideration for sick patients trying to rest & deal with their pain. Truly appalling lack of care factor. Another time my mother had a bad fall & went to same ED. Dr dosed her up with strong pain meds & sent her back home. She was in so much pain we paid for MRI privately & turned out my mother had fractured vertebrae. Also I broke my ankle & went to this hospital yet again unfortunately. No thought was given to checking if I had torn ligaments, even though I did rehabilitation there & in a lot of constant pain. Months later I still had unstable ankle & was referred by my Dr to a surgeon, who couldn't believe I wasn't sent for further tests at time I was in ED. Turned out I had 3 torn ligaments, with one completely off the bone. Surgeon said can't operate now. Wait 1 year & see if it resolves. 3 years later I still have so much instability with the ankle. This hospital scares the hell out of me! It's 2023 & I'm adding to this review, which I did 2 months ago: Unfortunately my 89 year old mother had a recent fall at home & ended up at this hospital yet again (even though I begged paramedics not to take her there). The ED said she hadn't hurt herself even though she has Osteoporosis, BUT then she ends up having a fall at the hospital (which I wasnt notified about) & even though was apparently referred for review by a doctor, she was sent home less than 24 hours later in extreme pain. After a CT scan organised by her GP, turns out she has 2 vertebral crush fractures!!! This hospital continues to prove how dangerous it is to my family's health.. it's truly diabolical the lack of care that they dish out. BE WARNED!

I would like to thank you for the nurses, doctor, and security people in ED. They were very caring despite the extreme busyness and chaos I could see. Nurses and doctors were very professional and patient. A nurse kept checking on me until I see a doctor. He was very gentle and nice too. Also a doctor examined me throughly and explained what is going on very calmly and nicely. There were extremely nice security person too next to the main door, she was so helpful when I needed some water to drink. I feel so grateful that I have this access to all these caring people in ED without paying a dollor…🤧😭 Thank you for your patient and work all of you! I am sorry I couldn’t remember everyone’s name. I really appreciate every kindness and attention I received during my stay 😊👍🏽

Came here for emergency reasons and all we did is wait since 2 AM.. I am writing this review while still waiting for results and doctor. All we get notified is to wear mask after 4 hrs of waiting. Upon asking why the reception nurse didn't notify, they have got no reasons. We are here at emergency for urgent monitoring but nothing is been happening. No proper response from nurse or reception staffs.

My 7 years old son getting very bad chest pain once in a while which last for 15mins, Doctor done ECG when he didn't had pain. Once pain started I ran to Doctor to connect ECG she checked my son and mentioned that Nurse will come and connect but nurse never turned up. Doctor came after 30mins and pain subsided, When I questioned why ECG was not during the pain doc say Nurse is busy and connected ECG in 2 seconds(already sticky stuff was there they just connect cables which took 2 seconds). Pathatic service when doc can connect cables why she has to wait for Nurse. It's midnight and they keep my son awake waiting for pain to reoccur.

1 star is even too much! Try Werribee emergency department and you would know. I have three suggestions Avoid avoid avoid. God knows when State govt will open eyes and look what’s happening. Emergency process itself takes 6-8 hrs.. not once, not twice.. every time same story.

Couple of weeks ago, my wife went to emergency. She observed highly unhygienic situation there with blood clots here and there and even on the bed. When she complained, she was advised it is emergency and this is how it is. Anyways, coming to the point, they inserted cannula to her hand and then we waited for the next treatment for 9 hours. When we get back home, we noticed rashes in the same area where they inserted cannula. Now after two weeks it is not going away. Not sure where to complain, on contact with Emergency they simply said to check with nurse or come to emergency again where it be reassessed. Not sure what to. For me it is an act of negligence from ED nurses.

Second time attending, ambulance were lovely and stay by ur side no matter how long (1.5 hours - didn’t go further than a meter). Werribee mercy emergency hospital are terrible, first time I was advised a 13 hour wait (I might as well make a doctors appointment) second time they’ll make you wait and wait for hours (no patients enter - nurses just having the chit chat) only reason you’ll be seen by them is if ur in a coffin.

By far the worst, inhumane medical experience of my life. I came 8 days postpartum with a very high fever and a newborn, and was made to sit for 4 hours just to get my initial bloodwork done, then I waited for another 4 to “receive” the results, which I was never informed of, but apparently I had a very bad infection, waited another 4 hours to get antibiotics, after which I had to wait a few more hours for an ultrasound and then to see a doctor. All of this resulted in 16 hours spent at the hospital during which my baby completely lost its routine. Not only were some of the staff extremely rude, not once did they think of the fact that I have the newborn to feed every 3 hours, and only remembered it after 8 hours, one nurse saying “Out job is to take care of you, not your baby” while my condition was getting worse by the minute. Never again will I go there to receive “urgent” help, and at one point I even considered suing the hospital for maltreatment. My best advice to anyone is to seek another ED.

One of the worst hospitals I have been to. Brought my 4 year old for an allergic reaction which was pretty heavy, been 5+ hours and still waiting! The little one has not even been looked at nor given any antihistamines! I really hope the government and the relevant authorities are taking a close eye, there wait times are beyond extraordinary!

😠 They say first impressions count and I totally agree. I called to make an inquiry about an appointment and I was spoken to in the most disgusting manner by the receptionist! If you don't like your job and can't speak to people with politeness and respect, it's time to leave! I understand that you...

😠 One of worst private hospitals around and worst experience ever. Nurses are so rude that they won’t ever care about patients. There is some sort of empathy towards patients/clients but no fks given by their rude nurse. A patient who just had their surgery done was left on her own for hours when they...

😠 I brought my son to the Emergency department for a seriously infected eye with trauma. We arrived at 1.15 pm and after 6 hours we were still waiting to see a doctor.
