Looking for a mindful place close to home? The Watcher is in Keilor next to Essendon. This was my go-to spot in lockdown 2021 as it was within my 10km travel radius. I came here so many times alone to workout, chill or brought the family for a quiet time enjoying the view. You can't swim but you can bring scooters to scoot along the boardwalk. Not suitable with toddlers unless you constantly hold their hand. There area picnic tables around, plush grass to sit and picnic and there's also 2 BBQs there. No toilets or facilities. Just a simple mindful miniature lake to chill ❤️ Its tucked within a residential area!

Well there's something I won't see again. Beautiful spot for a bike ride with some nice surrounding trails.

Another one of those places/suburbs Melbourne throws at you and that’s a great thing about this beautiful city! If you’re up this way worth the lookout for the lookout guy! And a great little area for a BBQ and away from the craziness of Keilor Road.

Super interesting place to have fresh air, have a walk and observe falcons! Yes! You read it well: if you have a good telescope you can see falcons on the “rock wall”

Weird in that there are herons or something catching many, many small fish right now!

Not a lot here to look at...the sculpture is cool...but nothing much else to see. No cafe or toilets to be seen at the time either.
