Well, well, well, if it isn't my favorite cigar-friendly watering hole - Vega Lounge in Pompano Beach, Florida! Let me tell you, this place is like a second home to me (don't tell my actual home that, though). I mean, where else can you find a bar that not only allows smoking but encourages it? The cigar selection is out of this world, and the staff is always willing to lend a light or cut when needed. The vibe at Vega Lounge is just so darn cool. It's like stepping back in time to a classy era where smoking and drinking were just part of the lifestyle. I half expect to see Don Draper sitting at the bar with a cigar in one hand and an Old Fashioned in the other. The bartenders are some of the friendliest folks I've ever met, and they always make me feel like the only customer. They know their stuff, too - ask for a recommendation, and they'll steer you in the right direction. All in all, Vega Lounge is just a really fun, laid-back spot to enjoy a good cigar and a drink with friends. If you're ever in the area, do yourself a favor and swing by. Who knows, maybe we'll run into each other - I'll be the one with the big smile on my face and a cigar in my hand!

Honestly my favorite neighborhood bar. Service is always on point. My girlfriend and I’d favorite date night spot. Love you guys!

Bridget took great care of us and made an excellent Rusty Nail and my wife had some extravagant drink called an Aviation. She really liked it. Bridget set us up with a table that had an ashtray so I could enjoy my Henry Clay cigar. Beautiful outdoor location near the inland waterway.

The waiter refused to even acknowledge my presence. Took my male friends order while completely ignoring me and my female friend at the table. My male friends said his drink was delicious, but unfortunately I didn't get anything because apparently I didn't exsist? Shocked and appalled. I feel like it's also worth noting, he had checked my ID. I was not drunk in the slightest (this was the first place we went to tonight. We left after our friend finished his one drink. The waiters name was Jason or Dustin and we did see him smiling and laughing with other tables, just felt like ignoring half of our table.

My neighbors have been telling me to check out Vega lounge and I finally was able to this weekend and I am so happy I did! What a good spot to chill and have cocktails. Michelle was taking care of me being patient.recommended the lemon meringue martini. It was delicious . She was very nice and I will definitely be back.

This place is a lounge. They don't sell food. Atmosphere and drinks, a little pri ey, were good. Very comfortable to sit and relax. They and music as well.

As a frequent customer of Vega Lounge, I must say Kathy, Bridgette, Steph, Virginia, Mike , Jason and Dustin do a great job! It’s always a friendly environment and the drinks are second to none! I highly recommend visiting Vega Lounge in Pompano Beach.

I’ve been coming to my place in Pompano since the mid 80’s, I’m now 50 and consider this is my home away from home. Although I’m not an actual local, I stay clear of the touristy spots. My last few trips, Vega Lounge was on my list of places to try, but didn’t happen. We made it a point to go last night, and so happy we did. The staff is amazing all around. Not only are they extremely welcoming, they’re talented, and some of the best mixologists/bartenders I’ve seen. The selection of high end liquor and cocktail menu is impressive. Immediately upon sitting, another patron recommended the espresso martini, said it’s their signature drink…I wasn’t expecting anything different from the hundreds I’ve tried before, but it was incredible. I don’t know what she did differently, but it was heaven in my mouth. The atmosphere is so laid back and chill, it’s the perfect place for an after dinner drink. Can’t wait to go again…

Hidden gem! Great hand-crafted cocktails bar with a sleek environment. Get your night started here and have dinner next door at The Foundry as they don’t have food at Vega.

Stumbled upon this place after leaving the Amphitheatre. Old Fashioned’s are my poison of choice and our bartender made them to delicious perfection. While this place is cozy, there’s quite a bit of seating available at the bar, as well as the high tops indoors and outside. Adjacent to the bar, there’s another room with sofas, wide armchairs, multiple TVs and a dart board. Prices were reasonable. Staff was pleasant. Worth checking out if you’re in the area!

I heard about this place and decided to give it a try. I was very disappointed. As soon as I went in I felt all eyes were on me. I got nothing but dirty looks and felt very uncomfortable. I waited 10 minutes to try and order a drink. Needless to say I won't be frequenting this establishment again.

This is a great late night bar with an outstanding selection of beer and liquor and a hip yet friendly staff... highly recommended for even the most persnickety patrons! We'll be back...

Not a good place to go unless you are one of the locals who frequent that place. I felt so unwelcomed the day I went. Someone who either works there or frequents that bar purposely sat across from me and stared me down like I owed him money. Definitely the kind of place that does not welcome new guests.

I went here a few weeks with my co-worker. Great vibes, amazing cocktails and service was above and beyond. My coworker left and I decided to stay to have another drink. A gentleman on the street was loitering and the bartender took care of him, made me feel safe and made sure I was okay. Thank you I will defiantly be back!!!

Great place for drinks and a cigar! They have a nice set of iron stairs out back.
