A nice short trial with a couple benches and a gazebo in the middle north section. It is good to do a couple laps around for exercise. It is not congested with road noise luckily. Ideal to sit down and read a book at one of the quarter way benches. As for wildlife or photography you are pretty much out of luck. A few sparrows here and there and little annole lizards at most. There are dens for opposums. No really good photography spots either. Check out my pictures for a walking tour of the whole location.

A short trail to escape from concrete jungle and spend some quiet time with nature. Fully paved. Good place to bring people in wheelchair and small kids.

This is a great little park in the northern part of Coconut Creek. At only 13 acres it is one of Broward County's smallest parks and it is dedicated to Helen Klein, a local environmental activist who died in 2001. The parking lot is very small, maybe 6 cars at most and the area is surrounded by a church, houses, and a shopping center. The city decided to preserve this last bit of unspoiled land in 2002. At the end of the parking lot is a picnic pavilion. The park consists of mainly paved pathways and a small portion is an elevated boardwalk. Along the path are some benches to rest on. Although the walk is short it is extremely pleasant in the shade of the overhead trees. On the day I visited I only spotted a butterfly but up to 55 species of wildlife have been noted in the preserve. It is so nice that Coconut creek decided to preserve this area. Even though I could hear the cars on the road outside the preserve it still felt like I was a world away from the development that looms just outside the preserve. I am always looking for a place to get some fresh air and exercise and this is a lovely spot.

Great little park to walk through during our morning routine. It isn't the largest place, however it is kept clean and neatly trimmed. We have a walk we go to every morning and this park is where we cross through. It isn't a place to picnic or take pictures, but as a nature trail, I love it.

Small park, but a nice place to have a meditative walk. Entrance is not well marked, so it loses a star.

small but nice shaded walk through a natural area. I think I had a glimpse of a bobcat here once. There are cement and also raised walkways, and a nice place to sit. I almost never see other people here.

Lovely nature preserve with walkways and benches. Signs tell you what plants and wildlife to look for.

This is a great local park to see native florida plants. However the beautiful bright red seeds with a black dot pictured on the photos here are an exotic plant called "Rosary Pea" and they contain a poison called "abrin" that is extremely deadly to humans. DO NOT EAT OR LET YOUR KIDS HANDLE THEM!

No pets allowed and seemingly dangerous area for a single female to be alone.

Other than there were no birds or animals to be seen. The path is paved concrete. The foliage all looks happy and well maintained in its natural habitat. The path is relatively short. Certainly an easy walk. Just not a long walk.

This place appears to be temporarily closed, despite being listed as open on Google maps. I've tried coming twice in the past couple weeks, and the parking lot is locked.

Very serene little park. You can see a variety of butterfly species throughout. I was able to see dozens of black and yellow zebra long wing butterflies. Great for a quick stroll. You can get through the whole thing with ease in 15-20 minutes. Try to preserve our beautiful natural areas by picking up a piece of trash if you see one and disposing of it in the appropriate area. If all of us pick up at least one piece, we'll see a world of change.

Cozy natural area in an easy to access location with easy to access paved nature trail. Beautiful scenery and good birding opportunity. Don't forget to check out the Saw Palmetto Natural Area, which is a short walking distance away!

Quiet place to unwind before/during/after work. The bird watching is phenom! I spotted ospreys and red shouldered hawks here!

Samantha Gilbert, you are a moron... there are no pets allowed because it is a natural area and it is safe. Highly recommend.

Not a big as the other nature trails, but it is a nice place to jog. Few laps around the trail and your good to go.
