Great hotel with all its priorities in the right order - comfy beds, excellent towels and a massive TV with a kettle and fridge. Location is excellent smack in the center of Chester. Loses one star are there was an issue with the towel fitting that was quickly resolved but should been noted before. One suggestion is that they offer free milk.

This location of this hotel is perfect for sightseeing around Chester as it's right in the centre. Although there isn't a car park, there is a multi storey very close by which only costs ÂŁ12 for 24 hours which we thought was very reasonable. The room was clean, plenty of tea, coffee and milk. The bed was really comfortable, we had a great night's sleep. The toiletries provided were lovely. Breakfast was self service and really tasty. Plenty of everything. What stood out the most for us was the staff. The greeting and help we received on arrival from Zormitsa was some of the best customer service I have ever experienced. Other staff (apologies but did not get names) were also so attentive and friendly, we were really made to feel so welcome. Wouldn't hesitate to book again

Stayed for one night on 3rd August, very impressed, our room was on the first floor facing the main road and we couldn’t believe that we couldn’t hear any traffic noise at all. Comfy room and bed. Staff very efficient and helpful. We had breakfast and it was very good. Parking was at the adjacent shopping Center at £10 for 24 hours.

We stayed here for one night and had a good stay. Staff were absolutely wonderful - friendly and helpful throughout. The beds were very comfortable and the rooms were spacious. Reasons for docking stars are because the pillow cases were stained and marked; the TV and Chromecast in our room also didn’t work and couldn’t be fixed during our stay. Otherwise a good stay!

We had a 2 night stay. Lovely room, clean and quiet. Parking couldn't be easier in attached multi storey. Brilliant location, 2 min walk from city centre, fantastic breakfast options and friendly and helpful staff. Would definitely stay again đź‘Ť.

This Hotel is unbelievably good value for the price, The rooms are spacious, very well furnished, have an air conditioning system which is actually easy to work and the complimentary toiletries are nicer than the ones I took with me!! As I was going elsewhere after my stay I had to drive and there is a huge car park almost next door. Just as an aterthought my next stop was a Premier Inn located in a trading estate in Stoke-on-Trent, and that cost me ÂŁ68 for the night...

Second time staying here. We booked a last minute stay on Secret Escapes. Great location for exploring Chester with car parks nearby. The only downside from our recent visit was that there was some evidence of room not being cleaned very well as there was dirty items on our tea tray and on our package we were supposed to get Prosecco but was only offered white wine. Great choice at breakfast and comfortable rooms.

Brilliantly located great hotel. Rooms are very clean, and well equipped. Location is great, being close to the many 'newish' restaurants & the shops. Easy and efficient check-in. Breakfast was a very decent self-service. Would be very happy to stay here again.

Lovely clean hotel. Reception Staff were amazing. Nothing too much trouble. Had supper in restaurant which was basic chicken and chips but no atmosphere as very quiet. Couldn't change coleslaw to a sauce. Beds super comfy. Highly recommended.

We stayed here on 30th july until 1st of August for our silver wedding anniversary. On our arrival the staff at reception were accommodating and friendly. We had drinks and lunch in the bar area where we were served by the lovely Mia. Mia was friendly and knowledgeable about chester, giving us advice on surrounding bars and activities. We also seen her at breakfast the next morning and she was just as personable as the day before. Helen the manager seemed very nice. We seen how she treated and praised the staff for their good work that day, you don't see that very often! Our room was beautifully decorated by (I think) Amy? Swan towels, Rose petals on the floor and bed. It was just beautiful! Thank you for that. The place was spotless, shower pressure was good and the breakfast was good. Nice choice of food and drinks. The location is perfect and ÂŁ10 for 24 hours in the car park we thought was pretty good for a city centre! The star of the show was definitely Mike at the bar. He made us feel very welcome and we ended up having a good laugh with him and chatting in between quiet moments. I think the only thing that let the bar down was there was no music. Just a tv on. Please change that, it would make such a difference! Next time we're in chester, we will be staying here again. Keep up the great work!

We went for the cream tea after finding an offer on Groupon. We found the service to be very good and touroughly enjoyed the cream tea. There was a nice selection of fresh sandwiches, with 2 mini quiches, delicious warm scones and a tasy selection of mini cakes. Overall it was a very nice experience

Lovely hotel with spotlessly clean and big rooms. I had a room with 2 beds and it was just me. The bathroom was very modern. Breakfast in the morning was great with lots of options. Friendly staff and easy check in. The heating wasn't working in my room and they came and fixed it for me.

A fairly standard but very well presented hotel. We got a room (one twin and one single bed) for just over ÂŁ100. Room was clean and smart. Large TV, toiletries provided and tea / coffee. Breakfast was great, the usual choice of sausages, bacon etc (no black pudding though) Cereals are also a choice also a choice small pastries on offer. Happy to answer any questions. Great location. Would book again.

Great hotel, location is perfect adjacent to three great restaurants. Parking is close by with 24hr access. Hotel felt ultra modern, really welcoming reception team and rooms clean, modern and fresh. Shower was super powerful my measure of a great hotel, room was quiet, bed was comfortable and room temperature was perfect. Well worth booking if your working or visiting Chester.

We stayed here for our stop in Chester as we thought the hotel was in a decent location to walk wherever we wanted to go. No real complaints. Checking in was fine, they let us drop off our bags early as we were a few hours before the check in time. The hotel itself was pretty clean. We got 10% off at the bar with our stay but unfortunately couldn't make the most of it as my wife wasn't feeling well both evenings. The only gripe was the pillows and mattress made for an uncomfortable sleep but then we find this pretty much whatever hotel we stay in. One pillow felt like it was too thin yet two pillows were too much. The second night was a better sleep than the first but as I say we find this pretty much wherever we go so we fully expected it & will expect it again wherever we stay next. We expected a lot of noise due to the location but to be fair it was actually pretty quiet. Would we stay again? Yes.

Well located for the centre of Chester. Nice room, if not the biggest. Good bed and shower, perfectly clean and pleasant and contemporary decor. Only issue was a lack of ability to allow any fresh air into the room, as the window did not open at all even to vent under the guise of safety. We were room only, so can't comment on the breakfast offer.

Great room and great location. Tasty breakfast and lovely staff, especially the lad on the bar on the Friday evening. Has issues with housekeeping, grubby pillows (no protectors) and grubby mattress protector. Thankfully, great customer service, the Duty Manager/Manager sorted out without fuss when we raised the problem, and everything was perfect when we went back to the room. However, when we went to make a coffee the next morning, the cups were dirty. At this price, the housekeeping should be bang on. We will be back due to staff and location but will be checking everything on arrival.

Really good located hotel; super central, reception & bar staff really friendly ! However we put the room service hanger out when we went out for the day (9.30 am) & came back to no hanger (4.30pm) but no room service done, beds not made or towels changed. The tv wasn’t working when we got in so the manager came up and fixed it , she was very helpful x

Stayed for 2 nights. As soon as we walked into our room I found multiple hairs in the bed, ontop of the bedding and inside too and on the pillows. I ended up buying a blanket and sleeping ontop of that. Then shower was disgusting. Had so much filth I was shocked. We were promised room service. But both the nights we stayed there the room service was not available for unknown reasons. The plus side was the hotel location was amazing, everything was super close by.

Great location for Chester, staff were fine, room was fine. Unfortunately, we had a room next to rowdy males on the beer, at 4am we heard loud voices, banging, glasses being smashed, clearly their room was over occupied, went down to reception but no one there, not much sleep, complained on checkout with response that had multiple complaints and they would look into it. Too little, too late. Perhaps a case of luck of the draw but an unpleasant stay for me and my wife.

Myself and my son were so impressed with the friendliness of the young staff, from their welcome to goodbyes. The happiest hotel I've stayed in. Thank you so much. The room was perfect. Location was great. Near to the Roman amphitheater and wall

The hotel is a great central point to enjoy Chester city. It has a very modern feel, and looks quite new. Park at the shopping center as its only a tennner a day, half the price of the car park opposite. We booked a standard double room. The room was a very good size, with a shower, a fridge and a large teley. We also booked breakfast, which was a buffet offering cooked and continental. Then it went wrong for us! We went out and decided to turn in for the night, at 11pm we pulled back the sheets, only to discover the mattress protector was heavily stained with red and yellow stains! (we tried to not imagine what they were!) I contacted reception about the problem, and the manager quickly came to our room and looked at the situation. The manager agreed this was unacceptable, and she moved us to another room, that was a bigger one with a bath and a shower, but not really any advantage to us. Skip to the morning of our departure we were looking forward to a nice breakfast, and a last walk around the city. We went to the breakfast area, only to be told there was no hot food for what ever reason and that we could have continental and half off, or a refund. We took the refund, as 11 quid each for toast and cereal was a bit steep , and we tried to find somewhere in town that did cooked breakfast, but we were unsuccessful, so we left Chester hungry and very disappointed. Leonardo hotel was a massive disappointment, especially as how supposedly clean it was, (based on reviews) was one of the reasons we picked it. The dirty sheet caused massive anxiety problems with one of us, and soured the stay. Clean sheets I thought, was one of the basics of a hotel. The breakfast being off on our last day, just topped the disaster off! We carefully chose our break, (being our 1st child free break for 2 years), and we were heart broken it went bad. The staff were very friendly, and allthough we had a small discount and a breakfast refund, we don't go away on a break, just to get money back, the inconvenience, disgust and disappointment that we had. This has really made us decide to never go to a Leonardo / jury inns again,or recommend it to any one! Pathetic reply off owner/manager via a review I put on a website that 'advises trips, ' saying everything I'd already put in the review, as a response. No way will we return!!

Well placed for shopping and site seeing, no car park. But Grosvenor car park very close and open 24hrs. Very comfortable beds and friendly staff. Not much storage space if you are staying for a while.

Looks dated from outside when you first arrive. But inside the rooms are really nice and the breakfast was spot on. Would stay here again. There is parking just across from the hotel but that’s about £20 for 24hours

Clean, basic room which we didn’t mind as just wanted to put our heads down - however right next to a nightclub which was open and loud until gone 2am. Paid £190 to stay as it was new years which was expected, then another £14 for parking (which we had to trek up and down the multi-storey as the lifts weren’t on.) Breakfast did offer gluten free but was given the bread to toast myself (which can cause contamination in the toaster) chef, restaurant staff etc were all very nice and polite however no one to be seen in reception on check out to raise these issues with. In a nightlife area with lots of chavvy nightclubs and restaurants which obviously isn’t their fault but not the most pleasant of people around.

Right in the centre with public carparking right behind, staff were really nice and we had bed and breakfast which was excellent. Rooms clean and very nice. And we are planning to go again in November.

I love this hotel so much. Had my wedding last week where i got my family from london to stay at this hotel. I must say excellent customer sevice, excellent rooms, clean, delicious breakfast, comfortable beds got no complaints because it was prefect place to stay for guests and for ourseleves too. We had our wedding in registery office in chester and so i got ready in my room where they delivered breakfast to my room. And also before we arrived they decorated our bed with flowers and wrote a congratulated note on mirror Which i felt was so thoughtful and kind of them.im extremely happy and in love with this place ❤️

Pretty disappointed, room wasn’t clean and lots of marks on the wall and ceiling. Lovely sight of a dead pigeon right outside the window too. Check out is pretty early considering the check in time. For how much we spent for a night it wasn’t really worth it in my opinion. Don’t think we’ll be back.

Room too small. Couldn’t open fridge without it being obstructed by the bed. Three tea bags for two people. Had to ask for more tea bags and milk. One bath towel for two people. No soap or face cloth. Only had hand soap and shower gel dispensers. Had shampoo and body lotion all in dispensers. No shower cap or conditioner. Room cost just over £120 without breakfast for one night. Lovely and clean with nice staff but wouldn’t stay there again

Brilliant. From the location, to the lager in the air conditioned bar, not to mention the full English breakfast or continental one. The rooms are comfortable, clean and well equipped the bed large and comfy and a decent shower Lastly the lovely staff who were always helpful and nothing was too much trouble I would recommend staying here and will definitely be staying again

Stayed one night this week on a secret escapes voucher. On arrival the lady on the front desk was so lovely and helpful. We had included in the deal a bottle of prosecco this was brought up to our room immediately. The superior room was big large comfortable beds. The hotel is perfectly situated in Chester close to all amenities. The breakfast was really good lots of choice and SF service. The evening meal was a limited menu this was a bit disappointing as some things were also not available I paid extra for the steak and asked for some mayonnaise but they did not have any. Parking in Pepper Street was ÂŁ20 overnight so be careful where you park. We had a lovely time thank you .

Really nice hotel situated at an excellent point in Chester. Staff were very friendly and professional, the room was clean, well maintained and I had a quiet night's sleep. Given its proximity to a busy road outside I couldn't hear much of anything. Breakfast was good, normal buffet style and the drink selection was nice. The restaurant is a nice space, and the bar has decent beers.
