Just had a large Cappuccino and when the froth settled the cup was only half full. When I told the staff they looked at me as if I'd just come fro Mars. Instead of making a fresh cup they just topped it with milk and the left it on the counter without telling me is was ready. Costa in Prestatyn is far superior, lovely staff, excellent service and quality coffee. The member of staff that made the coffee is a big lad with ginger hair an glasses. Alun Jones

Always busy here. Staff are really friendly and efficient but it feels like an extra pair of hands to clear tables might be a shout

Good coffee, taste and presentation as you expect. Tables need clearing and cleaning quicker but otherwise a stale Costa cafe

Nice setting by the canal. Had to sit outside with my dog. As someone else mentioned, this would be a problem if you were alone. Nice cake and coffee.

Great staff, a pleasant environment & good coffee. The cakes were a little over-cooked but tasty. Easy to access & park by.

Sometimes have to wait 15 - 20mins to be served here but a bit quicker this time but it was still busy. Take a bit too long to clear tables but I think that's cos they are not staffed up as they should be, no fault of the guys working there. Come on gaffer, get another bod in.

Stopped for some coffee and toast before the sofa shops were open. Enjoyed it. Coffee was a bit weaker than expected, but nice.

A friend and I met here for coffee and cake. However sat upon a mini bake well was a fly doing his fly thing, like regurgitating on said tart and stomping it in, I informed a member of the team who just shooed the fly away and left the tart to be sold! Needless to say the wee fly just hopped onto another cake and continued his quest! We didn’t therefore have any cake

I always thought there were legal noise limits in the work place for customers and employees however this place doesn't have any it is so loud it drowned out the screaming of several children. All the staff were miserable, the place needed a clean and the toilets were absolutely disgusting.

It was quiet in the store, so the service was very fast. The coffee was very good. There may have been a sugar stand nearer than the door, but l could not see one. I had to dodge around chairs that were out of place and in the middle of the aisle. We chose what was a clean table as it had just been wiped down, it was wet and sticky my wife chose to use a wet wipe on it and we were surprised by what came off the table. Very nice cup a tea and friendly efficient staff!

I waited around Chester for the day, and my car was in the garage nearby. I went into Costa for a cold drink as it was very hot outside. The service was brilliant and quick. I had one of those ice raspberry drinks, very nice and not too badly priced at £4 as it was big. Stayed in there for approx an hour, very relaxing atmosphere.

First time in this branch could do better. Will be returning to the area hope to find it a little better

First visit since Lockdown. Friendly staff, especially cashier. Great tasting Cortado.

Great coffee as always at Costa. Only issue was poor 4g data but did have free WiFi.

Not a lot of choice in terms of food available. Husband had chicken and bacon sandwich which was Gluten free( only option- didn't like the texture of the bread, M+S made) 2 flat whites... had to laugh at the barista's attempt at coffee art, he made all the moves and he really shouldn't have bothered, it was just a white dollop. Doesnt make any difference to the taste, but presentation - nil points 🤣 Coffee still tastes OK, coffee art much better this time around.

Great coffee house, lots of parking available, great staff and lots of choices for food and drinks on the menu. Perfect for meeting friends and family or working in a nice environment.

Dan who served me was an absolute star! Very helpful and so friendly! I am not easily pleased but that guy deserves a shout out. The rest of the staff are pretty good as well and convey that very appreciated chilled feeling we so crave when we are having a coffee!
