The girl with curly hair who works behind the bar area is an absolute star. She took her time to explain about all the different Magic The Gathering products we were browsing, with a great sense of humour and professionalism. The range in the store is quite good and our visit has me and my friend wanting to come back to play some Friday Night Magic sometime soon!

Popped in, to see what the store is like, and enquire about the advertised MTG Pioneer tournament. A few people sat around gaming, nobody bothered speaking to me, and no visible shop floor presence, so I ended up walking out, none the wiser. Shame really, as it sounded promising.

We called in to update our Pokemon decks and grab some comic books while we had something to eat and drink. The staff member was rude and dismissive, seemingly more interested talking with her friend about putting the card sleeves into a rainbow. Needless to say we took our business elsewhere and won't be in a rush to go back.

Great place for gaming in Chester very welcoming staff and atmosphere. Wonderful for all ages from toddlers to adults. Can't wait to spend a lot of time here.

Honestly a cracking place for people to just enjoy their hobbies in peace. Their milkshakes are amazing and the owner is just a generally really nice guy. Decided to make this my new local games store and I plan on coming weekly!

It’s a great place to go to play a board game and have a snack, the staff are always friendly and helpful. Plenty of choice of games to play for free, plus a selection of games to buy, alongside pokémon/yugioh/magic card sets, funko pops, and other geeky merch.

The cosiest corner in Chester for roleplaying games and trading cards. Plenty of tables, great selection of boosters, and a menu brimming with choice. The Dr. Bad Boon (banana & peanut butter) and Chocolate Thunder milkshakes come highly recommended! Other Geek Retreat chains could learn a lot from the host of this place, as the manager was enthusiatic to talk about what services were on offer at their store, and ask us about our session of Magic: The Gathering Commander! On our second day there, we were also given a Welcome Booster and some cards in thanks for our first purchases! One final note is that it's great to see another store that has baby changing facilities and feminine hygiene products, its always pleasant to see stores going sbove and beyond! We look forward to coming here as often as we can whenever we're in or near Chester!

Great place, owner really cares about the gaming community and it shows in everything he does. Well worth the visit for any gaming enthusiast. Will be back soon for sure

I go here with my mate at least once a week. Usually, I will pick up a few pokemon cards and maybe something to drink. Staff are always really friendly and help foster a great environment. While I personally haven't taken part in any of their D&D nights. I've heard good things from others. Would really recommend people check this place out

If you want to top up your decks or play games this is the place to be. Milkshakes are amazing
