Stayed at Crowne Plaza Chester for 3 nights and treated myself to a birthday back massage on Monday. I had a Crowne Spa Signature 30 min back, neck and shoulder massage. This was a really reasonable price of £40. Hannah, the massage therapist, was lovely and it's probably one of the best massages I've had in a while! Would definitely recommend and when we go back I will definitely be booking another one!

I tried the sauna there & it was awesome, the Best Sauna I tried in Chester so far, the heat is just right, builds up slowly to perfect temperature. Also I was delighted to find a clean changing room.. . . . the staff was very friendly and fun, Especial thanks to George and Ben for the great customer service.. all the staff are great. And the price is very reasonable. I really appreciate the IHG hotels, it's excellent high standard compared to other companies in UK.. Thanks alot for great customer service and generosity 🙏✨💖

Our second visit of the year, and yet again, it was spot on. We ate out, so I don't have a review on breakfast or dinner. But our room was exactly what we required. The beds are massive, and the bathrooms are adequate. They do exactly what it's supposed to do. Reception staff are pleasant and give a nice first impression. The location of the Crowne is what we like best. It's 100yds from the shops/bars, so it's ideal for a night out.

Good location next to Chester Market. The hotel kept heating off. Building and room were cold. Poor service. Very disapointing

Such a lovely place! Value for money - the spa area alone made it that!

Fabulous overnight stay, loved the huge bed and pool. The location is so central!!!! Its a few metres from the main street with the shops and bars. Staff in bar, restaurant, cleaning and desk were lovely and friendly. Parking costs £10 and you can leave your car there until 2pm the day of your departure. I would definitely stay at Christmas again as it was decorated so beautifully!

Pool and gym and steam room sauna included in our stay made the most of these 8am a good time to use when others are coming out for breakfast. Which is flexible chose veggie omelette 2 days . The crown is literally 3minutes walk from central area with cafes, bars and restaurants and yet quiet in late evening for good sleep.

Lovely hotel, great facilities. Shame the room didn't have the slippers and the wall paper was peeling. The sky box also did not work and the windows would not open at all. Shame when you order one of the most expensive rooms.

Car park was closed for resurfacing so had to pay parking elsewhere.

Ruth was fabulous! I left feeling amazing post a sixty minute massage! We will be back.

My favourite place to go to relax. The staff are just amazing. Especially the manager Louise. So accommodating. I feel like a new person each time I go there for a treatment and relax time alone. I just love it. X
