Glad this has re opened, was out for a drive and saw it was open. Greeted by the warmest welcome by the lovely lady with blonde hair. Had drinks and opted for the Sunday roast. Tables are set out in a tastefully decorated dining area, very spacious with bifold glass windows all around, imagine this is lovely in the summer. The bar area is well set out with cosy Woodburner, very nicely decorated. Food was fantastic, every veg possible, the blonde lady was very attentive and we were made to feel very welcome. Excellent choice of ales and lagers. Will definitely be returning soon.

Called at this recently refurbished country pub on our way home after visiting Church Stretton. Absolutely superb, everything one would want, the food and service were excellent and the staff were friendly and helpful. The waitress accommodated our social distancing needs as my wife has medical issues, which was much appreciated. Will definitely be visiting again. 12 out of 10 for this enterprise. David M.

Walked in to a very welcoming bar... wondered whether dogs were allowed.. the water bowl on the floor let me know the answer before I asked it. The warm wood burner was as equally welcoming as the staff. The beer was good, as was the wine. The lunch menu delivered a great refuel after a long walk. A great place to rest, refuel and sit and chat to some like minded dog owners in need of a good rest stop. Looking forward to returning for dinner.

Really nice food and atmosphere. We went in after a long drive from the Welsh coast. Steak and red onion Paninis and chips were amazing. only downside is the parking is opposite and the road to cross could potentially be difficult to cross, but not something the pub themselves can rectify easily. Food and service more than make up for it

I gave this pub a 4 star for the food. The food was lovely and tasty. I dont think the pub has the right pudding chef as my bread and butter pudding was tasteless and bland and my husbands sticky toffee pudding tasted like burnt treacle. Main coarse, however, was delicious. I do feel that this pub has a lack of character and the outdoor area including the building site on the car park needs work.

Proper pub food, can recommend the homemade pie, really tasty. Popped in on a Tuesday night and food was being served, very good quality and tatsy, nice beer too. Was looking forward to going back for the pub quiz and curry they do but was a little chaotic and portionsize poor so wont be going back. Place looks like its shut if you passing but its not. Dog friendly in the bar which is good.

My family called into The Wenlock Edge Inn for an afternoon drink on Sunday 02 July 2023. We used to visit The Wenlock Edge Inn over 10 years ago to enjoy a meal as we returned from holidays on the Welsh coast. The Wenlock Edge Inn has been closed for about 8 years and so it was really interesting to revisit . The Wenlock Edge Inn has changed internally with a brighter more open finish to the front bar area . To the rear of the bar area, the dining room has been vastly extended into a large comfortable airy room with about 10 tables. A chalk board in the dining room gives a list of specials to be added to the standard menu. A nice couple are managing The Wenlock Inn and the lady is running the bar and front of house whilst her husband is the chef for diners . The Wenlock Edge is offering 2 real ales at present from Wye Valley and Hobsons brewery . We have not eaten here , yet , but customers seem to be really complementary about the quality of the food . We shall have to return to test this for ourselves. The large car park is on the other side of the B road from the pub . It is easy to cross the relatively quiet road although disabled visitors can park in the lane on the left handside of the pub.

Nice to see this pub open again after being derelict for so many years. Nicely refurbished, large dining area, bar could have been larger. Pleasant staff.
