We recently stayed overnight in The Stag room with our spaniel Buddy - what a find this place is! Set in the most glorious countryside with beautiful views, this is a very special inn. We received a very warm welcome , and after a great walk over the fields right outside the pub, we ate a delicious home cooked meal sitting in the delightful garden. Our room was beautiful- tastefully appointed but retaining rustic original period features. The view from our window was breathtaking. We can't wait to return ! Thank you to all the hard working team at The Stables.

A remote and quaint little Inn set in the Shropshire hills. Very dog friendly also. The inns has an unusual layout with three small rooms where to eat and enjoy your food . There is a wood burner leading to a cosy ambiance. We'll worth calling in.

Great little pub to drop in for a pint, a fabulous meal or even few nights stay. Shame that there are only 5 stars to give for location, this is one place that needs the full 11. We got the warmest welcome on arrival and felt like we were already home. Visit if you can, you will not be disappointed.

Stayed in the little hut for one night, which was perfect. Pub itself is an absolute gem. A proper country pub with seriously good food.

Wonderful location. Excellent food. Staff very helpful and friendly, interior rustic and gives off 70's vibes, very nostalgic for all those who remember country pubs back then. Do you do jamming nights ! Will be back 😀

Wonderful little piece of tranquility in an already tranquil county. Just take a little detour and pop in for a drink. If the sun is shining you'll thank me. Can't comment on the food, but when I have I'll update. It sounds lovely and is all homemade. Highly recommend.

We took the family and had a lovely meal. The service was great, the food delicious, the chocolate orange cheesecake was amazing. Will definitely be back. We didn't stop overnight but I imagine it would be fabulous. Lovely rural setting

Wonderful Sunday roast and catered for gluten intolerance. Cosy pub with log burner. Great service.
