Large area to roam in with many paths. Plenty of benches. Very reasonably priced car park: "Up to 2 hours Β£1 / 2 to 5 hours Β£4 / over 5 hours Β£5. Sculptures. Good easy paths which are fine for prams or wheelchairs. Really lovely bee mosaic. Located right behind Countess Of Chester Hospital, with entrance opposite the Little Owl pub.

Lovely place to take a stroll with my dog. It would also be a place that I'd bring my grandson. 29th May I took grandson and he loved the short walk we did and we are definitely going back to explore a little more.... Went back the other month and found a lovely little trek through a wooded area, lots to spot on this walk, dog was kept on the lead didnt want him to get any of the lovely things around here.

Larger than what we expected. Loads of space to wander around. On crossing the canal you end up on old mollington golf course, which offers loads more space. Fab Parking rates are about Β£1 per hour from memory but longer stay is rewarded with concessionary rate. I'd double check that.

A lovely place to walk with the family or with your dog. This is not on a route regularly used by adult lycra-wearing cyclists, (you get a few commuters) so it's safer for children to scooter or practise on small bikes. There are extensive tarmacked paths, so perfect for wheelchairs and pushchairs.

The car park is made up of a good number of parking bays but I imagine on a busy day it would struggle to cope with hordes of people arriving there. The car park surface is made up of lots of stone/rubble and may not be accessible for wheelchair users. Having said that once you are on the paths the surface is much smoother. I didn't see any toilets whilst I was there but that's isn't to say there aren't any. There was a mobile drinks stall set up though I am unsure whether it was serving any kind of food. The park itself is a vast area with lots of different routes to take. It's a great place to go for a bike ride too. There are small ponds dotted around with fishermen having access to them. If you plan to go for a leisurely walk with your dog, it maybe a good idea to avoid these areas or keep your dog on a lead especially if recall is an issue. This park is definitely worth a visit if you are in the area and have some time on your hands. I will certainly return in the future.

It's a lovely day out, would highly recommend. A beautiful landscape, lovely for a walk with the family and pets. Got benches dotted around so that you can sit down

Beautiful scenery. Great for dog walks. Also easy terrain to walk on as it has a very well maintained path.

Gorgeous place to go for a walk be it alone or in company. Just be careful of the dog poop that isn't always cleaned up! 🀬

Great place for a walk. You can walk for miles, and still not cover the whole area. Plenty of benches for a sit down when your legs need a rest.

Secret sanctuary which is great for dog walks or fun for children. Some benches are scattered round but very little shade so not great on a hot day.

A wonderful place to enjoy a stroll. Paved pathways suitable for all. Good place to walk dogs. They have dog bins in the park. Unfortunately no toilets. Nearest are in the Little Owl or Aldi.

Lovely for a walk/bike ride/scooter ride with children as the paths are smooth, there are a couple of hills though! My only issue is that most dogs there are off leads. Everyone said that their dogs were friendly however, for those who are phobic it's not fun at all to have dogs bounding towards you (my 6 year old was not happy at all). I only saw one dog owner with dogs off leads who was in total control of their dogs- their training was phenomenal!!

I always enjoy walking my dogs here. It'd be a good idea to have a little cafe/coffee shop with toilet facilities.

I work at the hospital anyway but on my day off, I normally take my dog for a walk on the Country Park, he gets so excited when he knows where he is at, his head goes out of the window and his tail just wag energetically. It's a fantastic place to walk and jog if you are that way incline. All in all, a beautiful place to walk and relax after your workout and some fantastic picnic areas.

Weekly Parkrun (5k jog / walk) every Saturday at 9am. Lots of lovely people and friendly marshals. It's a fun route but with some challenging hills and varied terrain.

Beautiful country park close to Cheater city centre. Miles of well kept paths suitable for pushchairs and wheelchairs as well as rougher terrain across the bridge over the canal.

Great dog walk. Be aware that after it rains the water level is high and you will need to wade back if you take the canal route to the car park. The dog will love it though!
