Staff did not notify us of road closures due to horse racing at the local racecourse. We were supposed to leave today through the tunnel to France. As a result, we were blocked in the hotel parking lot and suffered haevy losses. The hotel staff, when we told them that we had not been notified of the road closures, laughed in our faces, expressed disdain and refused to give us a room until the roads opened for 8 hours, even for payment. As a result, our little dog and we are sitting in the car in thr heat.

Located near the racecourse, 10 minute walk to the shops, restaurants and bars, onsight parking for £10 a night which is competitively priced for the area. Complementary pastry breakfast and coffee on a morning. Decent sized rooms with shower no bath. Small kitchen with microwave sink dishwasher and electric hob. Enjoyed my stay here would recommend. Didn't make 5 stars as parking spaces are very small and there is a road closure from 9am to 9pm when there is a race on.

Friendly staff, Large clean studio rooms with kitchenette. Conveniently located right in front of the Chester Racecourse and just blocks from Center City, an easy walk to The University of Chester.

This is the 2nd time I have used Roomzzz and they did not disappoint. Fantastic little hotel for a short stay away. Rooms offer everything you need with adorable decor. The staff however are what make this place, extremely helpful and welcoming who are there whenever you need them. The amenities are great aswell and it’s in great location for you to go round Chester! Wouldn’t defiantly recommend staying here for a great short stay!

We always stay here when we visit Chester. The location is a short walk to the city centre. The staff are very pleasant and helpful. The rooms are always clean.

The room was a good size, comfortable bed, heated bathroom floor and a kitchenette. Unfortunately, due to the kitchenette I had two rough nights sleep. The fridge compressor when it turns on periodically is like a pair of hair clippers being turned on. Very loud

I really liked this place, great location, staff fantastic, unexpected free breakfast is always a winner! Only downside was the car park was full when we arrived and we had a lot of luggage, hardly the fault of the hotel, just something to bear in mind.

Really nice apart hotel! The staff are so helpful and you always have breakfast to go! Just mind, the parking area is too narrow, so it's quite hard to get out/in, especially when it's full.

Great location between the racecourse and the main shopping area. Lovely views from the top floor apartments. Staff always friendly and helpful. Apartments well equipped and spacious.

A good apartment hotel within a 5 min walk to the city centre. I stayed in the Ascot suite which has a great view of the racecourse. Rooms are spacious, rate this hotel a decent 4 star, breakfast is no frills, grab and go with access to porridge, fruit and pastries, with hot tea coffee etc. No dining area to eat, you have to take back to your room which is well equipped for self catering. Car park is small and cramped with an additional £10 charge per night. There are a few car parks nearby if the car park is full.

First time staying and would definitely stay again. Great location with a very short walk into town. Parking on site. Staff were all very friendly. Room was good & had what I needed. My only criticism would be the bathroom was looking a little tired with grout that needed deep cleaning.

The rooms are really nice with your own kitchenette, but cleaning could be a lot better, it seems to have gone down from the very first time we stayed there...which is a shame, you notice these things when your in that field of work (Cleaning ).

We had a Christmas party at the racecourse. The location was great as it was just accross the road. Was also good for walking into the town for shopping. Great facilities in the room. Very spacious.

We had a lovely 3 night stay here at roomzzz, check in desk very helpful and efficient, room (standard studio) was clean, the bed was very comfy, kitchen area had everything you could want, air con was fabulous, the bathroom had a heated floor and the shower was easy to use and powerful. Grab n go breakfast was lovely and fresh. Great location for the town centre and right next to Chester racecourse. Would definitely recommend!

We travel extensively in the UK and abroad - booked this hotel, randomly, as we were going to Chester - what a pleasant surprise. We were allocated a parking space, our room had everything, a fully equipped kitchen, the bathroom had a heated mirror - never sen that before. We certainly will use this hotel group when we travel in the UK. Well done Roomz

This was my first time at a Roomzzz, and I only stayed for one night but it was great. It is in a good location opposite the racecourse and a short walk into town. The room had a kitchen with all the things one needed, a stylish bathroom with a rainfall shower and underfloor heating, and a comfortable bed. Despite being by the road, it was very quiet overnight. If you were staying for a while it would make a great base. I will certainly be back!

Excellent location to explore Chester. Rooms clean and well appointed. Staff friendly. Breakfast is pick up and go with pastries, yoghurts, fruit, juice and coffee machine. Nice to take back to your apartment room.

Such a pleasure to stay here. The rooms are amazing, have a beautiful modern design and are very functional. I have stayed at Roomzzzz Aparthotel in several cities and wherever I go, their team is super helpful and extremely nice. I would highly recommend!

Absolutely brilliant stay a few weekends ago for the races. Also got upgraded to a Penthouse which was doubly appreciated after the races were cancelled mid-event and had somewhere we could hang out and chat/drink etc.. without having to pile into all the busy bars in town. Staff were excellent and friendly, parking no trouble onsite either. Only slight negative was the lack of a movable shower head on a hose in the shower (rainfall head only). Will definitely stay here again next time we are up for the races.
